You can achieve a lot by just trying consistently.
It's a simple strategy but quite effective. |

A lot of people will not be able to give you advice you want because they have never made 300k in a month. Some would be emotional, because why isn't 300k enough for a family of 3? If you had done your due diligence before marriage and a baby, you would have been in a career path that would enable you increase you pay either by salary increment in your current job or pay bump by switching companies. In that case I would say, don't worry, even Dangote dey feel am. If that's not the case, then I gat nothing else to say. |

Love is meant to see beyond weakness.
If that is a deal breaker for you, it's best you end it so you don't waste each other's time. |

Romance › Re: Why Is Moving On After A Divorce So Difficult, Help A Brother by Karleb(m): 8:00pm On Dec 29, 2024 |
Tallesty1: Moving on is never easy, especially if you truly loved the person. People will tell you to stay busy or jump into another relationship, and while those things might help, they rarely talk about how to handle seeing her in everything you do. This was your wife—someone you shared every moment with.
I’ve never been married, but I’ve been deeply in love. When things started going south, I had to sit myself down and weigh the good against the bad. The bad was overwhelming so after a phone call one evening, I took the phone away from my ear and said to myself, “God, this is the last time I’ll call this number.” And that was it.
How did I move on? First, I uninstalled WhatsApp, quit Facebook, and used the time I’d normally spend on social media to learn a new skill. It was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made.
So, here’s my advice:
Decide that this is what you want and that it’s for the best.
Remind yourself that you deserve better because you’re a good person.
When you start missing her, remember all the times you wished she wasn’t there.
Lastly, read books. I recommend:
The Manipulated Man
The Rational Male:
Positive Masculinity
Preventive Medicine
And most importantly, The Subtle Art of Not Giving a Fck*.
Start with the last one—it’ll help you see how unhealthy and toxic that relationship was, teach you to prioritize what truly matters, and guide you through what you’re feeling.
Cheers to a happier and brighter tomorrow. Heartbreak is such a good thing. It gave Adele 3 solid albums (or more) and it gave you a new skill. Cheers to more heartbreaks. 🥂🍻 |

santaclaws: It's funny how you ladies attribute everything to money. Once men have a different opinion on something obviously wasteful, you say they're broke... Meanwhile y'all can't carry half of the responsibility they carry. Even the actual broke guys are richer than most of you. 😒
This mother is obviously financially reckless. No single learning material, just toys and shoes, most of which would be useless to the kid in some months cos kids grow fast at that stage.
Invest in your kid's future instead of spending all on useless toys just to impress people on social media. Some of you have no joy at home. Can't you she buy those things when the kid needs them. You guys would still plan for the future even in the future. |

idahme: Financially stable women not independent because these women will beg atge hell out of you when you start dating them. All these ladies dating you think they ain't working, they do but still pester their boyfriends for money so i ask what are they independent of?
The teal story behind financially stable women is that they make their own dating pool smaller by still remaining hypergamous even with their financial stability,no man is afraid of them. Those men are eliminated by same ladies while they seek top 1% of men who actually don't seek them because in most situations men look out for youthfulness, naiveness, chastity, fertility making these ladies who are already 30+ out of the radar of top tier men. The only people they can date is usually those they are more economically stable than but they won't. All these predetermined Red pill answers. Top 1 percent? Already 30+. Like say we don't have lots of ladies below 30 doing well financially. We find it easy to blame women but truth is, majority of men in Nigeria are so poor the only thing they have to offer in a relationship is money and when the woman has it, she's not appealing to him. No be for this Nigeria men dey pay monthly salary inside relationships. If we as men cannot sit down, introspect and change our ways. Then no wahala. Keep blaming hypergamy. Like say na only Nigeria hypergamy dey. |

The truth is, some men have phobia for women who are financial okay. It's not that they are afraid of talking to them or dating them, the thing is like tribalism but for financially independent women. We can deny it all we want but it's true. I wasn't 100 percent sure of this until like 2 weeks ago. |

Karleb: Is house the only asset one can get?
I am not against getting a house but don't get it with all your savings while you are still young.
If after buying a house you won't have at least half of the house worth in savings, don't touch it.
Leave that to old people.
You can do what works for you sha. It's a free world. This reminds me of a guy who said he bought land while his friend was telling him to invest same money into bitcoin then. Now bitcoin worths way way more than the land. There are several low risk investments you can do because I understand that many are just risk averse. You just need to make your research. If you don't know any investment then invest in yourself to put yourself in the best position to make more. Buying a land and building a house isn't what you should be doing with your total savings as a young person. |

Nothing gloomy about the Christmas.. just some sensational news heading..
If they can still complain about an unpaid salary even before the month end, what do they want millions with means of salary to do.
Make we dey take am easy abeg. What an insensitive statement! Serious private establishment has paid December salary, at least, I've received mine. But a whole FG hasn't? Any institution with sense understands that December salary has to be paid earlier, before Christmas. If you are not a salary earner, that's your problem. |
