Another GEJ election promise SE delivered! Welldone mr president i hope haters on NL are watching!! |
They should shut up their governors were among the. Governors forum that put pressure on FG to remove subsidy bunch of hypocrites!!! |
Is it not ironic that pastor tunde bakare is organising a protest and Buhari is calling for revolution at the same Time in one week! It makes one wonder what their motives are!! Are they planning to provide a good atmosphere for another killing spree for their fundamentalist followers like they did during the elections? |
Tomorrow the ACN goons would claim the track was built by ACN.they won't give GEJ the credit for displaying such maturity that Buhari failed to exhibit during his muderous reign.kudo to the FG for displaying maturity and coming to the rescue of the lagos state government. Of course if it was the other way round we knw what the ACN would do.nice one GEJ |
As the nation’s security agencies battle insecurity occasioned by the activities of Boko Haram in the North, a group, the Niger Delta Liberation Force (NDLF), on Friday, raised the alarm over alleged movement of firearms by suspected adherents of the militant group into some major towns in the South-South. The NDLF, a body of ex-militants, said the development was part of strategies to extend terrorist campaign to the Niger Delta by launching coordinated attacks on some major towns and villages. In a press statement signed by NDLF spokesman, Captain Mark Anthony, the group said: “We want to draw the attention of the people of the South-South region, especially the Niger Delta, that intelligence report had revealed that there is an illegal movement of firearms by persons suspected to be members of the Islamic sect, Boko Haram, to some major towns and villages in the South-South region as part of the grand plot to attack targeted areas and installations.” NDLF said the decision to raise the alarm was with a view to alerting security agencies on the development before the sect commences its attack. The statement, entitled: Security Alert: Illegal Movement of Firearms to South-South Region, read in part, “The intelligence in our possession indicated that the Islamic sect has already deployed fighters to the region who are disguised as cyclists, popularly called okada riders, yam sellers, hawkers, shoemakers (cobblers) and other forms of petty traders, waiting for approval to carry out their heinous crime. “Some of the targets of attacks by the terrorist group in the Niger Delta include Port-Harcourt, Yenagoa, Warri, Benin, Calabar and some other towns.” NDLF, however, declared that any move by Boko Haram to extend its violence to the Niger Delta would be resisted, contending that “it is crucial for the religious extremists not to tinker with such “deadly” idea, capable of eliciting “disastrous reaction.” Several calls made by Sarurday Tribune to the cellphone of the Bayelsa State Commissioner of Police, Mr Chris Olakpe, over the development were not answered at the time of filing this report. http://tribune.com.ng/sat/index.php/news/7182-boko-haram-extending-campaign-to-ssouth-ex-militants.html |
The South West chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has described as irresponsible and hypocritical, the Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN) governors’ defence of Osun State governor, Mr. Rauf Aregbesola’s alleged use of religious zealots as bodyguards. The party also challenged the other ACN governors to tell Nigerians why they rejected the idea of having Sharia Courts of Appeal in the South West states when Aregbesola mooted it during one of their meetings late last year. The PDP said in a statement issued by its Zonal Publicity Secretary, Mr Kayode Babade, that the ACN governors would have done the Osun State governor a lot of good if they had advised him to stop his flagrant affront on the constitution and the unity of Nigeria, instead of blabbing about an imaginary destabilisation plot by the PDP. The party said that “the best any lover of Aregbesola should do is to advise him to thread the path of honour by putting a stop to his illegalities and religious extremism in Osun State. “The ACN governors should rather tell Nigerians why it was only Aregbesola that is using Islamic extremists as guards instead of men of the police and SSS? Why are other ACN governors like Abiola Ajimobi, Babatunde Fashola and Ibikunle Amosun that are Muslims like Aregbesola not promoting fundamentalism in their own states? “Why are the ACN governors not introducing the use of hijab in public schools in their states as being done by Aregbesola? “Why didn’t the ACN governors change the name of their own states as done by Aregbesola? “Again, why did they reject the idea of having a Sharia Court of Appeal in the South West when Aregbesola mooted it during one of their meetings late last year?” PDP queried. |
We would like to hear from the ACN hypocrites on NL who said all sorts of thing when roads where blocked during jonathans wife visit to lagos! And also oga fasholas take on this too.s |
Gradually the truth shall come out!!. we deserve to know the truth. |
Friday, 20 April 2012 Share THE national vice chairman (South-West) of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Chief Segun Oni, has described the admission of MTN that the call-logs presented to the National Judicial Council (NJC) probe panel on allegations of unethical beha-viours against the suspended president of the Court of Appeal, Justice Isa Ayo Salami, originated from the company as the triumph of truth over falsehood, saying that “we are now being vindicated and truth has emerged. Oni, who said he was on a crusade to save the judiciary in Nigeria from imminent collapse, added that “I am confident that at the end, truth, which we are fighting to uphold, will prevail, as it has happened now that MTN has refuted the lies that it told before that NJC probe panel.” MTN, in its statement of defence to the suit filed by Prince Olagunsoye Oyinlola and the Osun and Ekiti state chapters of the PDP, acknowledged that the call logs from the Nigeria Police Area G command headquarters, Ogba, Lagos, which Oni and Oyinlola presented to the panel as exhibit and rejected by the panel, were from it. Reacting to the development, Oni, in a statement issued by his media aide, Mr Lere Olayinka, said he believed MTN would tell the court and Nigerians why the call data records it released to the security agencies at the instance of the NJC contained only originating components, with the terminating components missing. “MTN must also tell Nigerians at what time in the history of Lagos State that a certain Tunde Folawiyo, on whose name telephone number 08034240000 was registered, was a governor of the state. “On this matter, we won’t relent until the whole truth is revealed, because this is not about myself, but the future of Nigeria and its people,” Oni said. http://tribune.com.ng/index.php/news/39590-salami-mtns-confirmation-of-call-logs-has-vindicated-us-oni |
Written by James Bwala, Maiduguri Wednesday, 18 April 2012 Share THE Joint Task Force on Operation Restore Order in Borno State (JTF) has said that it successfully carried out an operation on Tuesday in Maiduguri, the Borno State capital, where officers and men of the task force killed one member of the Boko Haram sect and three suspected armed robbers, and arrested 13 members of the dreaded Islamic sect. Spokesman for the JTF, Lieutenant-Colonel Shamsu Musa told Nigerian Tribune in Maiduguri, on Tuesday, that men of the JTF were able to carry out the operation in three areas of the metropolis following a tip-off. “Following a tip-off, the JTF Operation Restore Order had raided a hideout of suspected Boko Haram members at Pompomari area of Maiduguri metropolis. A suspected Boko Haram member was killed during the operation. One AK 47 rifle and some Improvised Explosive Device materials were recovered,” Lieutenant-Colonel Musa explained. According to him, the incident happened at about 0530 hours of Tuesday. He also said two hours before the operation at Pompomari, another operation was carried out at about 0330 hours, when officers and men of the JTF cordoned off another black spot at Wulari ward of Maiduguri, and search operation was conducted. He said: “In that operation, we arrested 13 suspected members of the Boko Haram sect and they are being investigated.” Lieutenant-Colonel Musa also said that in a similar operation at about 0218 hours, they responded to a distress call from Gomari ward of Maiduguri and engaged some armed robbers in a shoot-out that led to the killing of three suspected armed robbers. “We recovered one locally made pistol, a dane gun and three matches from the armed robbers,” he said. |
^^^^hahahaha I remember during the election how Ʊ and some other buharist called him clueless.just wait till 2015 you would be clamouring for him to do another 4 years. |
PDP REPLY Not to be seen as a lame duck, the PDP in the region felt it was necessary to refute the outrageous claim made by the ACN. While reacting to the allegation, its Vice Chairman (South West), Engineer Segun Oni, said that his party would not be cowed nor blackmailed to abandon its resolve to rescue the South west from those it described as “predators”. Describing the statement as concocted by the ACN, Oni said the party was in a desperate attempt to cover up its now exposed alleged grand plot to destabilise Nigeria as a nation. The former governor, however, pointed out that the PDP could not afford to stoop so low as to embark on plots to destabilize the nation. As a law abiding party, “we will always be opposed to the reign of these haters of the law and enemies of truth and peace,” he said. While he maintained that the utterances of governor Aregbesola was unbecoming of a governor, Oni said: “Our position is that actions and utterances of Governor Rauf Aregbesola of Osun State suggest that he is championing plot to disintegrate Nigeria and the evidence(s) are there.” “Is it not true that Aregbesola is sending student activists to Cuba? Is it not true that he goes about with security guards other than men of the police and SSS? Is it not true that he goes about with flag of his imaginary republic? Is it not also true that there is a facebook account named Oduduwa Republic, with flag and map of a republic?,” he queried. “We therefore wish to reiterate our call to security agencies not to succumb to the blackmail of the ACN, because issues bordering on threat to corporate existence of Nigeria are a serious security matter and security agencies in the country must go the extra mile to investigate these allegations,” he added. http://www.vanguardngr.com/2012/04/acn-pdp-bicker-over-alleged-threat-to-aregbesolas-life/ |

The only things they share with the Aros are probably cultural practices (ekpe/okonko) which reached the Aro through the Efik. Like I said earlier they aren't Efik nor are they Igbo. Even when the same person corrected Ʊ on ur fallacy that EKOI'S are not EFIK Ʊ insulted him/her now Ʊ want to use her to justify ure lies. So because ekoi are related to efik it now makes the efik go and get good education is like Ʊ saying the igbos and ijaws are efik cos they are also cos they are also a related group if ur not daft Ʊ should know that just like the akpas that Ʊ claim are efik are a related group of the aros does that make the ARO'S efik too slowpoke does that? Go and get a good education and stop embarrassing ur tribe on NL |
Re: Nigerian Civil War - REMATCH! by ak47mann(m): 1 hour always trying to twist history this people No mind the simpleton! He thinks other tribe are like his conquered tribe! Re: Nigerian Civil War - REMATCH! by torkaka: 23 minutes & 31 seconds @karl max it was called the aro- ibibio war because it was started by the aros and ibibios mumu! world war 2 is mostly known as a war led by germany on one side and britain on the other side. but pearl habour made sure america finished the war! olodo Keep exposing how stupid and dumb Ʊ are The way the british lead the war with there allies in world war 2 was the same way the same way ARO's led there allies to win the aro-ibibio war slowpoke go back to school Ʊ can't be so daft to claim britain russia and america were not allies in ww2 when german nazi was defeated. Mr ekoi people are efik !! Keep confusing urself |
Re: Nigerian Civil War - REMATCH! by torkaka: 9 minutes & 59 seconds @karl max wiki pedia? really? have you bothered reading what your other brothers have written concerning akpas? have you read carefully the links you have been posting? you can't be more foolish! you posit that since the akpas are in aro they are therefore igbo! do they make them so dumb these days? i recommend (if you are truly okoro) you sit with your grand pa and get some good history lessons! let me help you on where to start reading. start with; akwa akpa, aro akpa and yache akpa! mumu Stfu. So Ʊ knw they have ARO AKPA and Ʊ don't know that anything aro is igbo pls tell us how ekoi people are efik foolu |
@torkaka My above post shows that apart from u being dumb it also shows how awos free education was a failure for Ʊ to say the ekoi tribe are EFIK! Go and pay money to get urself a proper education! Keep fooling urself in ur quest to change history! HISTORY says the ARO-IBIBIO WAR was won by the ARO's and the aro's are igbos so this answers ur earlier ignorant post!! That igbos has not won any war. Now can Ʊ tell us the war ur people and the igallas fought that Ʊ defeated them as Ʊ claimed earlier! Have Ʊ ever asked urself why there are more moslems in your village ask ur elders the would tell Ʊ that it was due to ur forefathers were conquered by usman dan fodio !!!t |
Ekoi people, also known as Ejagham, are an ethnic group in the extreme southeast of Nigeria and extending eastward into Northern Cameroon. Ekoid Bantu languages are spoken by many groups, including the Atam, Boki, Mbembe, Ufia, and Yako. The Ekoi are RELATED to the Efik, Annang Ibibio and igbo people of southeastern Nigeria and have lived closely with them and also claim to have migrated from the Cameroon's to their area. The inhabitants of Kwa, located near Calabar, claim to be the first Ekoi people to have migrated from the Cameroon's. The Ekoi are best known for their Ekpe headdresses. http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ekoi_people @torkaka How is the EKOI people efik pls educate ur self before Ʊ post!! |
@trokaka An ARO is also an akpa man that is why there present location is in ibom in arochuwkwu and an Aro man is IGBO so they fought and defeated the ibibios and took them prisoners and sold them to slavery....more over if Ʊ say akpas won the war why wasn't the war called AKPA- IBIBIO WAR! Why was it called ARO-IBIBIO WAR? If Ʊ can't come up with an answer to the ABoVE question it only confirm what I said earlier Ʊ people are as slippery as a snake!! In between which war has ur forefathers fought without allies!! Even the almighty USA go to war with allies.I respect the igbos in the civil war when ur people and the hausa fulani with some minority and the middle belt fought one tribe with the help of intenational communityand they held their own for more than a year is an achievement ur people should be ashamed for even bragging about it I as an okirika man is ashamed of the role my forefathers played in that war!! Looking at event in todays nigeria and knowing that people like adaka boro was murdered by ur coward brother adekunle who ambushed and killed him to take the glory that people like Ʊ come to naira land to spew and knowing that I share a country with 2faced tribe like yours make me sick to the bones.igbos has never one a waR so ARO'S are not igbo and it was AKPAS that won the WAR NOT ARO then why was the war called ARO-IBIBIO war? If ur not daft and stupid Ʊ should be able to give us answer asap |

@karl max (though jj evans should have been your name) akpas are efik. Ibom Isi The Ibom Isi also known as the Akpa are one of the three main lineages compromising the Aro people. They are centered in Ibom, Arochukwu in Nigeria. This Aro lineage is originally from the Akamkpa kingdom in Ekoi (Okonyong) territory around the present day Cross River State in Southeastern Nigeria. http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Akpa So AROCHUKWU is now efik I don't blame Ʊ if not for the british a sultan would have been presiding over ur village!!! |
Re: Nigerian Civil War - REMATCH! by torkaka: 52 minutes & 17 seconds @karl max you "my man" are a very fo.olish guy! the so called guy you said schooled me alluded to the fact that the ibibio-aro wars was won by mainly the akpas! go back read what he posted properly! now my friend how can i say it ended in stalemate and at the same time say the akpas won the war? well thats simple go and read the difference between "battles" and "war"! omo you daft o'. i stand to be corrected by any one of you muffins trying to rewrite history to suit your egos; the ibibio-aro war was won mainly by the akpas, the anglo-aro war was won by the english, the others nri & co were also squarely won by the english, the nigeria-biafra war was won by . . .pick a wild guess! i still state THE IGBOS HAVE NEVER WON ANY WAR WHETHER PRE OR POST COLONIAL WAR! so all you cyber "RAMBOS" stick a tail between your legs and find a dark corner. Look at this simpleton if ur not foolish I challenge Ʊ to tell me which ethnic group the akpas belong to!! No wonder ur tribe was conquered and still been conquered by the fulani |

Was the government talking to them before? As long as Oga abati has not release any statement on fg negotiating with BOKO HARAM then there was never a talk at all. the heat is on them they are revealing themselves gradually. |
They should keep bombing all they like as long as is in their economically worthless region we have no qarms !!! BOKO HARAM is about to be flushed into toilet of history.let them keep dragging there region back to the stone age. the countries Foreign reserve is raising even with their celebombtion in the NORTH! But can the same be said when MEND was bombing the oil stations mainly owned by boko haram sponsors?please this Time extent the bombing to your major universities up NORTH since western education is a sin to Ʊ guys.so our schools down south that knows the value of western education can get more funding. |
After using the niger delta to win the war and used divide and rule to brain wash the niger delta the the igbo man was there enemy during the biafra war! I hope some of the niger delta leaders who fought on the side of nigeria are alive today to withness what is going on Today in the ONE NIGERIA they spilt their blood for!. instead of them to stand with our cousins and neibours ndigbo in what would have been a libration for the old eastern region from the hands of this parasite called nigeria!! Is what's going on in the so called niger delta today what adaka boro fought for?.even before nigeria we and the igbos have been intergrating together! The ARO CONFEDRACY is a classic example of our intergration and the story of JAJA of OPOBO and women riot in the eastern region demonstrates how we HAD lived together! As an okirika boy my father used to tell me how they married igbo women and interacted and lived peacefully with our brothers ndigbo before the NIGERIAN STATE used the weapon of division and rule which planted the seed of discord between us and the our cousins.we need to go back to the ways of our forefather that knows that our togetherness is our strenght WE should clamour for the return of the eastern region Now before it is too late the oil we thought we had that made us stab our long Time allies in the back would soon be lost to the nigerian state because of the short sightedness of adaka boro and those that fought against our natural and long term allies before this forced union called nigeria!the irony is that the niger delta people don't even own oil wells which is the reason why we stabbed our cousins in the back!! adaka boro was murdered his family are suffering like any other niger deltan while the likes of IBB,GOWON,DANJUMA and co are carting away our resources! Shame |
What happened to the ACN and CPC members of the house that some idiats claimed are saint they didnt oppose the looting. Going on in the assembly ALL politicians are the same forget the party name and logo. going |
This is why this presidency will end up in complete failure, just like the ones the liars have being imposing on us for ages. It seems that the only things that raise GEJ's temperature are "perceived personal insults" & "partisan bickering". Learn to give and take, and "focus on your job" Mr. President. Or better yet, develop a thick skin and again "focus on your job". Look and find the ideas wherever they may be, rather than playing political roulette with 150 million lives - at least you would like me to believe there is only one Nigeria. It is the bad job GEJ is doing that is putting his popularity into the dustbin, and not what ACN says or don't say. Get it. The country is going down the drain, the president has a chance to deliver a major speech to his party and all he does is engage in political Rooster Bragging. Where is the vision on how you will pacify the north, which you are gradually losing to Boko Haram? How are you going to develop the economy? What is going on with your YouWin, for example? We need real evidences, not say sos. Where is our 6000MW electricity? Acn where is our 4th mainland bridge that was promised lagosians for almost 16years now!!!instead what we get is the conversion of a public road into a private Property and planting flowers under acn no local government in lagos has withnessed any meaninful development!! 419 party!! |
