I usually laugh when people here say the market NGX has a mind of its own.............It's all an illusion. The Stock market has no mind of its own, we are all simply dealing with the irrational behaviour of human beings, trading in the market; of which we are part of. When you expect humans to go left, they go up...and vice versa

To be a successful investor, you must think for yourself......and ignore whatever directions the lemmings and wildebeests are heading to because they always end up in a stampede and many get crushed. Illiquidity. Outstanding shares of the company is less than 200m units and is not made available for trading, probably because it is concentrated in the hands of the privilege few who are not ready to sell at the current price.

Another company in that category is smart product (smurfit). It has been on bid for more than 2 months now without any trade.

The way to go now is counter attack meaning that one should rather lay ambush for those stocks where serious offloading is taking place and strike at their bottom when the rallies in TRANSCORP and TRANSPOWER end
