Dear Osibanjo,
You know your administration contributed massively to the increase in the number of orphans, widows and widowers across the country.
You know you can't do better than speak fluently and project inconsequential dispositions to already known matters.
You know you are teammates with the oppressors and destroyers of the ideal values you ought to represent as a clergyman.
You know you are irrelevant and invisible as the second citizen.
You know your opinion is never sought for at the presidential table of decision making.
You know you have a soft civilian heart like GEJ but not as sincere as he was, when in power.
You know you chose failure from the onset, to dine with the devil.
You know you feel stupid everytime you try to defend your team's incompetence and atrocities.
You know Pastor Bosun Emmanuel and Bishop Oyedepo were right.
You know you pay your thithes consistently for the satisfaction of your denomination, at the expense of the security and well being of the body of Christ, as a whole.
You know that helicopter crash was a Nineveh sign of Jonah on a wrong course, in the wrong boat.
You know 2023 is uncertain.
You know what to do.
We know you'll rather let your ambition override all of these you know
This we know

Hope the world can see how China's laws have frustrated all the social Media companies from the US. China has banned Facebook, WhatsApp, Instagram, Wikipedia etc and now Microsoft has stopped LinkedIn from operating in China due to stringent laws and policies. But South African men have a good record of raping their women. South African women on the other hand, have a good record of falling for Nigerian men so easily. Majority of them prefer Nigerian men over their local men for sexual relationship.
A Nigerian guy doesnt need to rape a SA woman. All he needs to do is just tell her he is Nigerian, with the Naija demeanor. Thats all. Watch her fall head over heels.
This smells false. Most likely her rapists were SA men, who threathened her against revealing their identity.

This is definitely not the Gospel.
Fake friendship is like a high flying kite and its thread roller. If you let go the roller, the kite will take it somewhere without lifting it from the dust, that is if the wind engagements above doesn't force it to break away. Fake friends can't fly with you. The best they can do is drag you in the dust. Its best they break away.
True friends try to limit the gap in altitude, to have you flying alongside so they don't ''naturally'' look down on you.

AbuuBilaal:
Firstly, comparing pigs to cows is an erroneous comparison. Cows are eating by virtually everybody in the country. I do not know any tribe that doesn't eat beef. Rather, all other meat sources only supplement beef.

Secondly, it's a simple issue. Fulanis should take their cattle to the north and let's see who will lose more. Youruba man that can't even manage a dozen goats, how will he get meat for his wedding, naming and other ceremonies.

Thirdly, cattle is reared and grazed but pigs are confined. Until pigs are reared like cattle, there's no need for a 'puga' scheme.

Fourthly, ruga created to solve a societal nuisance. Meaning that it was born out of necessity. Farmers and cattle owners are struggling for scare resources - green pasture and land - but this isn't the case with piggery.

In summary, we should all try to be objective and realistic. A good and peaceful Nigeria will benefit us all. Let's not join hands with trouble makers and agents of anarchy.

I rest my case.
Imagine disuan saying RUGA was created to solve societal nuisance.

One thing is still dont understand is that the RUGA issue is simply voluntary for interested states why is it that those states who said they are not interested still complaining? Is it that they dont want interested states to adopt the scheme for fear of something or what? Just like sharia law, only interested states are practicing it against earlier speculation that it may be forced on the entire country. Abeg make una help me reason am
Hey, why do you say such? Is it insensitivity to what's happening around you, or you're just being kinda naive?

Do you think if 34 states become interested in Sharia and fully involved, that the remaining 2 states won't be under threat of annihilation or forceful conversion, given the violence associated with the Sharia ideology?

It's a number thing. The more the numbers who don't want it, the more balanced the system becomes. The less it is, the more lopsided it becomes.

So why won't they cry out for other states not to accept a shady RUGA?

The more people you have fighting back, the louder their voices, the greater the impact and the higher their chances of not being victimized.

RUGA is shady. Has little or no economic relevance as regards what the ailing economy requires to recover.

So it's healthy to persuade others who seem not to learn from history and can't see or project beyond today, before they take dumb decisions and cry out later when you all will be under duress.

Foresight is what we need. Not this "mind your business" mentality, that's making ugly traits develop wings and relevance.

As much as we want to be united, we must respect the peculiarity of each of these territories. You can't come and use the phrase "one Nigeria" to foist a policy that other territories don't want.

Ruga shouldn't just be suspended, it should be abandoned.

Things like land are ancestral and dates back to years even before the amalgamation of Nigeria. Yakassai and his cohorts have no right to insist we give our land for Fulani settlements under the guise of one Nigeria. Our land was ours even before Nigeria came into existence, we decide what we want to do with it.

You should ve sought for counsel way back before now. You spilled the milk already.

You let your emotions drive you and gave wisdom the backseat.

You created what you didn't like by having what you liked without foresight, until you got trapped.

Now the only way out is to accept and manage what you created.

That's responsibility.

Even if you ignore some good opinions given here, dump her and marry someone else you claim to "love", there exists a high probability you'll likely mess things up again .

Marriage or no marriage, discipline and foresight are some of the core elements that keep you on track as a man.

If you don't have it, you can't give it. Work on that.

You didn't carry out due findings about the family.
If the little you could see look "messed up", how much more the ones you can't see, deep in the background/foundation? (talking about causes and effects)

Right now, you're vunerable to whatever her family decide to hit you with: Diabolic or legal.

I'll advise you seek the elders counsel from your family. They understand the rites and ancient landmarks better than you do. This is Africa.

They can approach the girl's family with better understanding. This matter is way beyond you right now. Be blunt with them and tell them what you want, as well as acknowledge your misdeeds.

Hand it over to the right hands and be ready to take slaps and swallow insults.

Whether you marry her or not, do what tradition demands to some extent, at least.

Mind you, this is not the time to form born again, running from church to church and saying old things have passed away.

God will see you through by HIS mercies.

Do you even think an average North Korean has willful access to social media like you do?

Do you know the strict censorship and control the NK government has on the media?

Thank your God for the West you hate, for getting you exposed to such benefits.

If someone can be killed for something as trivial as this, how much more someone caught covering the execution or leaking the video against the government's intent, without consent...

It appears you don't really know the NK system, that's why you said those.

No doubt, there are under cover agents/ special intelligence that gather information , but u wouldn't expect a full video proof here, like would be the case in Nigeria, if you, at all, have an understanding of the NK terrain and government.
.
Don't expect more evidences, cos the severe communist government would have it at their disposal, and only a "traitor", who wants to be slaughtered next would risk stealing and exposing them to the world.

Reno Omokri do not speak about what you know nothing about, you are only making a fool of yourself.

I was raped in 2010.I wasn't a child infact I was studying for my masters degree in Unilag and I was raped by a classmate.
I met with him on the basis that he needed materials for his thesis and I had some, we had finished coursework then. We met at an eatery he then told me his house is just behind the eatery, that we should go there. I won't bother to justify my actions here, everyone is free to interprete it as they will.
He wass my classmate of over a year and he was married with a child, I felt safe.
So we went up to his house and he raped me. I fought and screamed. It wasn't at night but generators were running still I am not sure if anyone heard me.
He punched me on my shoulders and inner thighs, he was much bigger than me and this weakened me, I fought but he still managed to wear a condom and he raped me.
He threatened me and begged me in the same breath, he told me his wife is a lecturer in a school in the East and she is hardly ever around, that he is lonely and he is sorry.
I was in shock and in a trance, when he was done, he ordered me into his car, retrieved my underwear and cut it into many pieces, as he drove me home he dropped pieces of the underwear on the road.
I stayed with my Aunt in Surulere, he dropped me right in front of my house. I was completely broken, I had cried so much my eyes were swollen and every bone in my body ached.
I told my aunt, she believed me.. I told her because I knew I could trust her. We decided it won't yield anything reporting it to the police. After that day today is the first day I will tell anyone else this story.

I didnt see Afam again (Yes his name is Afam and who knows he may read this) until the day we convocated. I went to meet up other classmates in a restaurant inside the Uni, then I saw him. I felt so much rage and anger.. I was also scared. I sat as far away from him as possible but at a point I couldn't take it anymore, I stood up emptied my drink on his head and walked out. They asked me why, I told them he knows what he did. I have not seen or heard from him since then and today I write my story.

Does my story make sense that I went to my rapist house myself and he still drove me home and I never told anyone except my aunt? I was 23 years old when it happened and I wasn't a timid person but that experience cowered me.
Like other things in my life I will rather not remember I have compartmentalized and buried it deep. I have moved on. I am now happily married
Reno, it's not your place to analyze what you don't understand.
Thank you Bukola, today I share my story because of you and no there is no cap to when you are ready to talk about.

PLS NOTE: I do not give anyone permission to share my story, I do not need any attention.
Yours is different from Bukola's.

You put up resistance Vs She didn't.

You hated the guy afterwards and showed it Vs She never showed any form of anger, resentment in
anyway.

The guy never gave you Krest cos you would ve poured it over him that same day Vs she warmly received a drink from him even if it was for averting any possible pregnancy that may arise: playing her own part to cover up . Don't tell me she did it for self image.

You reported the issue to a confidant , you shared the pain with someone close Vs she never shared her pains with her sisters. How come did she suddenly lose intimacy with the sisters and gained it more with Pastor, as such as they'll never have believed her if she had reported those occurrences ?

The guy didn't try it again, he would never have, because he saw your rage Vs the pastor did it again because her resistance was zero and it smelled like consent .

Yours was just an incident Vs hers was more or less a "routine".

You would never have wanted a relationship with the guy cos you probably didn't fancy him as a person coupled with the fact that he's married.... Vs She might ve fancied him as a person and hoped things could turn in her favor, since the pastor was only engaged and not married yet.

You hated the action Vs she hated/regretted the way things turned out, probably not the way she hoped, after the Pastor Went ahead to marry someone else while she felt "exploited".

If her commitment in church was out of passion for God, like she paints it, that occurrence wouldn't have happened the second time without an explosion, unless her commitment in church was out of some reference and admiration for Pastor- No matter how little which, would boil down to the fact that she liked him in a way. Things don't just happen.

Am not defending the Pastor, neither am I against Bukky.., but this pill, I can't swallow it for now. At least, not the way everyone is doing

Yours is different.

Log on to Nairaland and you'll see the state of the country reflecting in the thinking of the average youth.
Backwardness, primitive thinking , tribal bias and blindness, coupled with arrogance.

We only have exceptional few, with great logic and mental capacity, fit for modern day leadership roles.

But the problem is, these few can't be heard because of the noises from the arrogant majority with awkward comprehensive abilities.

I believe this is undoubtedly, the same way PMB reasoned as a youth. It only gets worse with age.

Even if the next president is to come from these lots, the country will still be way backwards.

Read and understand. It won't kill you. World trends don't just start where you found the headlines.

Conflict in today's world is more of opposing long existing ideologies, the competition of expanding, reducing, or restricting their sphere of influence.

This is mostly how allies were formed.

The USSR was very strong military wise.., but the West had foresight and greater understanding of the human mind and how it works.

If you put man in a caged system like most communist states are doing, there'll arise at some point in time, an urge to break free and exercise their individual potential to make choices. Even against the leadership.

Capitalism creates a solution for this, making man feel he can decide who rules over him and still sue them, or strip them off the power they're bestowed if his interests are no more considered.

The west know that man, by design thrives well when given freedom to exercise his power to chose, without being oppressed for his choice.., that every form of dictatorship style of leadership is a time bomb waiting to explode.

They only wait for that time, and then back up the people when it's due. That's how USSR gave up the ghost. That's also a good summary for Libya, Tunisia and the rest. China could be the next.

It's plain foresight. It's a strong potential they have over the Russians and Chinese, put Technology aside, even up till today.

So going to war with Iran is not an option. There are so many cards the west have got to play. Its only shallow minds that think, physical military retaliation depicts strength.

The west are crooks no doubt. Of course, there's no one without a sin.

But one thing I know for sure, when the influence of the West disappears and another comes up, people will
