folks4luv: u can only understand Joseph Prince's teachings if u v deeply studied the epistles of Paul, esp d book of Romans. even Paul was attacked as many are attacking the gospel of grace today. u can't be a Christian who has come under grace and still be an active sinner,it is not possible, grace to live a righteous life flows from Jesus when we rest on His finished works on the cross, when we have the assurance that Christ became a sin for us and through him, not our deed, we are righteous before God. through grace, we are able to fulfill the law even without knowing the law. but grace can be activated with faith...faith in the finished works of Christ. What do all these things mean? How practicable is what you have just written?! Are you saying that Grace makes us take righteous steps or Grace automatically cleanses regardless of our deeds? In your reply, have this example in mind. A civil servant is offered a bribe or a kick back, what does a Christian civil servant covered by Grace do? |

Family › Re: Cheating Doesnt Stop A Man From Loving His Wife by Kay17: 6:39pm On May 15, 2016 |
marvelck: Most times, when a man cheats on his wife, it doesnt mean the man no longer love or have feelings for his wife. Most men cant do without tasting other girls. Its in their DNA. When a man goes out to cheat, he'll still come home to his wife. And even after several years of cheating, the man wil stil be with his wife till old age. Cheating sometimes doesnt mean absence of love, but just a selfish act of adventure by some. It depends on what you mean by love. The love demonstrated by buying handbags, shoes, diamond rings and makeup kit, can easily be maintained with cheating as long as the husband keeps buying the handbags. There is love shown by a deeper commitment of trust and empathy/friendship. That your partner will remain at your side regardless of the circumstances. That love will be destroyed with cheating. |

jiggaz: Alright, concerning your question of a slave trader being a Believer and still remain a believer? That's where you misunderstood me, my post up there is written to believers in Christ, and who is a believer in Christ? A Believer in Christ is someone who has put his whole trust on the finished work of Christ. Someone that believes that Jesus Christ is the son of God, who came to the world and died for his sins and God raised Him up on the 3rd day for his Justification. That is a Believer in Christ and this person is now indwelt by the Holy Spirit as a guarantee pending his day of redemption ( bodily redemption i. e Rapture ). He might fall and stumble sometimes but he has the Holy Spirit to guide and direct his pact.
Mind you, a Believer in Christ is different from a church goer oo, spot the difference. A church goer is someone who knows that Christ exists, goes to church because he was born into Christianity but don't acknowledge Jesus Christ as his Lord and personal saviour. He just practices Religion but doesn't have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Spot the difference. Most of my posts are addressed to Believers in Christ not Church Goers. So it possible that an individual guided by the Holy Spirit and a believer in Christ can remain a slave trader trafficking and selling his fellow humans?? |

ovadozes: Don't quote me again if you really dont know what to say or if the argument is beyond the reasoning of your brain. Fixing pump price at 145 naira is not deregulation, deregulation is when you allow people to source fuel on their own and create competition alowing each marketer to source fuel through legitimate means and sell to citizens what it means is that the importers will be selling according to market price. How can i support increase in pump price when the environment has not been made conducive, our refineries are not working, minimum wage is 18, 000 and u expect me to swallow this hook, line and sinker. Please grow some brain. Same people that occupied Nigeria when the last administration increased pump price are the same people that want me to accept it now. If i may ask "what has changed apart from power changing hands?" I strongly doubt if a free ranging competition amongst many marketers will beat down the cost of buying the dollar. As long as refined oil is tied to the value of the dollar, it will dramatically increase with the dollar. So 145 is a compromise between a free for all deregulation and subsidy. |

wxyz1: we are discoursing the subject matter not the meaning of deregulation which i can educate you on. Government rush to say Pengasan supported 145 pump price, and they are saying No, we supported deregulation not price hike. now from the subject matter, what so ever might be the effect of deregulation is a matter for another day. But the problem here is why cant the govt report issue the way it is, Must it result telling lies? To support deregulation is equal to supporting the consequences of deregulation. Including a dramatic increase or decrease in the price of the product without government intervention. |

Atheist believe there is no God.so most of them fill themselfs with knowledge which seems to be real knowledge but it actually hollow knowledge
Saints it important to know that atheism is a spirit...it desire is to fill the one decieved with lots of knowledge, they often derive pleasure in this knowledge..it something I experienced though I never became one
Like the real owner of my post said..atheism is a religion
Its a religion first of all because it based on some set of believes..weither scientific or any other
Believes are based on culture which actually is in turn base upon some precepts ...every mans believe is based on what he has heard, seen touched which he now form his/her principles from...so at the end of the day,an atheist is a worshiper of himself or herself..that's why they like to argue alot.ask lot of questions.depends on some other peoples finding to cushion their egos...it a very hard thing to come out from
Ok As regards why God created man...this is the part I like others that can give a clear say or word on
My understanding of the reason is this christianity or Jesus christ always talked about a Kingdom, which is actually a government The almighty God wanted to extend his government to earth. There for he created man.man was created to be a lord or gorvernor over the province called earth
.now, the man God created has his own free will just like god...the free will was given to man to aid in the colonization process of the earth What Satisfaction was God seeking when he created man? Was he searching the satisfaction Conquerors seek when they dominate kingdoms and empires? |

Is omniscience necessary for freewill? Can a foolish or ignorant man really exercise free will? If I am unaware of Options BCDE but only of A, have I freely decided? And if I'm aware of the other options, would my decision really change?

Christianity Etc › Re: Are All Unbelievers Going To Hell? by Kay17: 6:02am On May 01, 2016 |
The hypocrisy of Christians can be shocking at times despite its regularity. They stress on the arrival and departure of Jesus as the shining light to Salvation. That all you need is follow his path as he had walked on.
But they ignore the fact that the deeds of Jesus are the path. The commandments of loving one's neighbour, to resist anger, which is the root of all evils, resist injustice and be compassionate. How then can a man carries these values and has indeed loved his neighbors, protected the vulnerable and exercised a great degree of self control, be thrown to hell and be punished for not acknowledging Jesus's name or ritualized Christianity?!
It is ridiculous. |

Think Nigeria use to have something like that as a unit of their police department....CID...central Intelligence division(department). Unlike the Nigeria type, USA own is federal constituted unit independent of other police departments. Don't have time for costs benefits analysis. System do decentralised and saturate communities with policing needs. Enforcers knows the population better because they're members. When new people enter their communities they know strangers. And are also aware of the bad actors to round up or check out when bad things happen. They knows their beats. And communicates findings to FBI and CIA when necessary and required for homeland security protection central database. "They know their community better" is your thin threadlike point you have. I think policing is more complex than that. |

Scope of FBI duties is wide. Sometimes, they investigate and reprosecute cases of local jurisdictions where there are suspicion of miscarriage of justice. Los-Angeles police cannot go to New-York and arrest somebody from his home. FBI coordinate that. New-York police cannot go to Nigeria to arrest somebody. CIA coordinate that. USA have no national police. FBI is not a national police. Is a national (undercover) intelligences laws enforcement organization. As undercover, they wears no uniforms. They are not police but law enforcement intelligence agency because they don't wear a uniform?! I think if it looks like a duck, quacks like a duck, walks like a duck, it is a duck! If tomorrow the Nigeria Police decides to dispense with uniforms, would that make them only law enforcement and intelligence agency?! |
Politics › Re: Senators Disagree On Nationality Of Killer Herdsmen by Kay17: 1:17pm On Apr 30, 2016 |
rexzqcom: USA do not have national police. FBI is not a national police. Is an undercover "federal bureau of investigations".As such, they don't wear uniforms. Other than prosecuting federal laws violations, FBI effect arrest of people who commit crime in one state and run or live in another states. FBI apprehend such people and present them to where they're needed. And also charge them for federal count of interstates flight to avoid prosecutions. Just like CIA do international flights to avoid prosecutions matters. Coordinations are synchronize seamlessly by the middle authority and the localities. For example Lagos city police complains to federal intelligences unit, who communicates with their branch in ibadan. Fed in ibadan, act on ibadan local police, who does the arrest. Hands to Fed who takes the criminal to Lagos local police, who charges him to court. Same thing between localities within the same state. The intermediary this time are state authorities like sherrif,DPS, or states Troopers. The pertinent question you artfully dodged -- isn't the entire arrangement a waste of resources when an overarching system like a federal police be used to avoid such waste and web of coordinating authorities. Rather than have several police units, just one would suffice. |
Politics › Re: Senators Disagree On Nationality Of Killer Herdsmen by Kay17: 11:16am On Apr 29, 2016 |
rexzqcom: Few remnants of present police can be designated as federal Marshall units (uniformed), while the nonuniformed intelligences units as federal intelligences unit like the FBl, and cia for international issues. All policings are local. All crimes happen in local jurisdictions. States sheriff department coordinate intra- state matters occuring across local jurisdictional authorities. FBI/ federal Marshalls coordinate inter-states and federal laws violations respectively. Often deputy costables (costabulary unit) police unincorporated areas between localities. Chiefs of local police are appointed by local governments chairs, who are ellected and accountable to the people. This is what decentralised police look like. FBI is a national police not a mere intelligence unit. Their constituting law describes them as law enforcement under the attorney General. They through the AG prosecute make arrests etc. They are the most powerful law enforcement in the US. Now this so called coordination between multiple police units, isn't it a waste of resources and time?! It is not like there is an authority that covers coordinating police units which ensures smooth coordination. |

janellemonae: Having a strong federal government and having strong states are not mutually exclusive. The united states is a rich country and can afford to implement social programs nationwide. The states CONTROL their administrations, funding, education boards, the POLICE. etc. Of course the federal govt controls intelligence services, the army and international trade. If they dont, whats the point of having a federal govt or remaining as a country, all d states can seceede. What the hell does "strong federal and strong state government" mean?! Strong in this sense means a favorable imbalance of powers and responsibilities in for either the States or the central government. Therefore a true federation has more responsibilities powers and resources to the constituent States and deliberately weakening the centre in order to maintain their relative independence. Compared to the past and pre Civil War (US) the States were more powerful with most of the responsibilities and resources the federal government now has. |
