@Extrovert and adeleye. Thanks for the useful information. If one opt for the border to border option how do you handle the immigration process. You are so right OP. I got married in Jos in Dece 2010. The weather was beautiful as it was chilling. I noticed all you said and much more. You wash your hand with warm water when you are about to eat any foood with your hand. Most homes serve hot tea and coffee when they have visitors. They have fire pots in pubs and clubs. My host even had a small electric heater that looks like a box fan. When you rub your dry palm against a dry textile, you will notice flashes of sparks. Someone just sent me this pix now from Jos. People buying used jacket and other warm clothings.

"Guide your heart with all diligence, out of it flows the issues of Life" RIP man. You indeed lived a well fulfilled life. We will surely miss his healing voice. |
Please i very much need this Egypt Visa for my nephews and neices. They all got scholarships to study in Macedonia. Regretably however, the macedonia govt ask them to pick up their visas at the closest Macedonia embassy, which in this case isEgypt. We went to the Egypt embassy in Abuja and were told they dont give visas to people going to pick up vvisas for other countries. So i need expert in this forum who can help me get genuine visas for them. I have alot of candidates on ground for this purpose. Useful and correct info is needed ASAP! Thank you. |
Your mother tongue is very important irrespective of our educational qualifications. I can speak mine but not as fluent as expected. There was an experience I had at a traditional marriage ceremony of a cousin. I was asked to be the family spokeman for the event. I was mixing up my language with English and our host were infuriated and I was so embarrassed. Someone more fluent took over from me. From that day I decided to improve on my tribal communication skills. I think I am better now. The easiest way to learn is to spend more time with the elderly. |
I wish to say thank you to Nairaland and a couple of consultants here on travel section. Just wise, thanks a lot. My US B1 B2 visa was given to me on wednesday in Abj. It was my first time to apply at the US embassy. Though I hv previously visited some countries in Europe. This is an added advantage. My interview was less than 3 mins. Basically you need to be who u claim to be on ur DS 160 online form. You should give clear and consise responeses to their questions. No beating around. Go straight to the point. When asked a YES or NO questions, answer either YES or NO. Don't explain unless you are asked to. Are you married? Say YES or NO, if divorced or seperated say it. And look straight into their eyes. And be calm and talk gently. Don't shout, don't rush. When u speak gently they will hear. And it gives some level of confidence. Don't trust in your documents cos they most likely don't even ask to see any, except when they are in doubt. So generally, you need to satisfy 3 conditions mainly.... Family ties, Economic tie and previous travelling history. Also, your DS 160 form should be filled correctly online. Most times they would have made decisions based on the information supplied online. Goodluck to all Aspiring apllicants. |
This whole bomb thing is becoming political and it all gears towards 2015. May God help us. |
Too sad. What a way to start the year. May the dead RIP. |
We have heard all these before. We need action and not blabbing on the media. The power situation has gone from bad to worse. God help us. |
Wow! Not a good experience. Have you ever been on a mid air troubled flight? You go confess your sin immediately and draw closer to your maker. Btw, what's happening to the opposition? Is the OBJ alleged elimination list for real? 2015, Very pregnant with happenings. God save Nigeria. |
hybridtm: Dis is d moment.. Notin mattersYes, you are so right. Every new born is a tabula raza( a blank slate) the process of growth and development and interaction with the environment impresses on the blank slate and the core of your personality is formed. |
Pk001 is indeed a crazy headless chicken. Get a life dude. We know you are a close friend of the Governor's family, better still, a would be inlaw, sorry to inform you that your father inlaw to be is indeed incapacitated and can not act in the capacity of the Governor even if given a 2 years recovery period. You really don't know what it means to be brain damaged. That man can not comprehend his immediate environment let alone presides over the affairs of the state. Something is definitely wrong with Nigeria Politicians. I wish him quick recovery though. |
May God keep him alive. It could be anybody. Even primary school teachers were not spared. Everyday, kidnappers are bn caught and paraded, yet, the crime is on the increase. God save our great nation. |
There is no law anywhere that exempts any salary earner from paying Tax to the Govt. This is not a matter of "do me I do you". The BIR followed the due process of the law. The trouble maker here is the airport manager seeking undue sympathy from members of the public. IG sits his dumb ass in Edet house and dish out arrest warrant without proper investigation. The police and the stupid powers that be in Abuja are indeed the problems we have in this country. Dumb ass leaders, dumb ass police, dumb ass manager and dumb ass posters on this thread. |
Does any of this remind us of ALU 4? Lloyd's action is reminiscence of the ALU 4 killings. What is wrong with Port Harcourt people? |
We are almost 3 years in marriage and ours has never left our fingers. We bath with it, cook and do all manner wit it. If you are planning marriage pls get gold rings, they don't get rusty and causes no irritation like GL. Wedding ring is very symbolical. It is the first evidence of your marital status at a glance. If you are married and ur wife does not wear her wedding ring and u are not disturb about it cos u don't wear urs also, then don't get disturbed when she is frequently harrassed. |
Got a very serious buyer for this car.send me a message on boylekerry2000@yahoo.co.uk and let's talk business. |
Some funny stuff. Nice one bro. Keep it up. |
So pathetic. Nigeria can never get there. Corruption has ruined this nation. |
Efcc pls take note. He is the most wasteful governer ever. Always looking for opportunity to waste tax payers money. God is watching them. Come to think of it, what is Annie's contribution to the entertainment industry in Akwa Ibom state? Rubbish! |
Mr OP, that blacks are involved in sex trade abroad doesn't mean they are all Nigerians. Can't find where Nigerian is written here. And for your information, no Nigerian live in such dehumanising condition abroad, except those trapped in Africa countries en route Europe. |
Just got this..."'m in shock. Just got a call from her best friend and my close friend, Denrele Edun. He told me Goldie died a few minutes ago in his arms at Reddington Hospital in Victoria Island. Goldie just came back from the US today he said, and was so full of life, then something went tragically wrong. Will get all the details from him in a bit, he had to switch off his phone. I'm shaking so bad. She and I had a conversation a few days ago while she was in the US. Oh dear Lord. Is this how people die? May her soul rest in peace..amen. #LIB#" it better not be true ooooooo!!! |
Naija Anthem. Them nor sing the stanza 2? |
Interesting, so Brad Pitt is dis old? Janet was so adorable. Michael? |
Where is it located and what is d final price? |
Very sweet, its a specie of rat but its tail end is white. We use to call it Rabbit,( not bunny). Just yesterday 2 teenage boys killed one inside the blocks arranged on my site. It brought back sweet m$emories of our kpako life style, growing up in the ghetto. |
Beauty Aghedo. Nice one. Post more pictures, especially the one you carried the rock. |
May his soul R.I.P. Btw, what is actually happening in that Aso Rock? Since Abacha, there is no dispensation without a family member or relation passing on. May God have mercy ooooo. |
Too bad. I actually served in CSS Mbu in 2002. There is Mbu Amon and there is a neighbouring Mbu Akpoti(not Apochi as erroneously used here). The threat of poisoning is a common phenomenon here. When you have misunderstanding with some of the Villagers you are bound to hear threat like "I go poison that guy". That small community also have lots of insane people roaming the market square. The journey from this village to Ehamufu( a bigger community wit a Fed College of Education) was hell itself. A dusty and very rugged road. I hope that has bn fixed. There was no viable medical facility in that community, maybe , just maybe that would have saved them. May God help them and keep the others alive. May the dead RIP. |
