Despite loans from banks and government, concessions from government they still inflate their prices. You are dancing to bank credit alert while your consumers are crying to heavy weight debit alert. How can a locally grown maize be sold for 9k when the imported ones that will pay custom duty sell for lower price and at a good quality which might even be higher than local ones and you want me to waste money on local ones. Imagine Inosson selling his SUV which is not suppose to go for more than 15Million Naira for 30Million Naira, now I see why Nigerians are not patronizing him. Where is Zinox Computers today, the only organization that will always patronize them is the government and it's because the government officials see them as a means of siphoning the public funds. Please every upcoming entrepreneur should always remember that there is a very strong competition in every market, you are either competing with the outsiders or your fellow insiders, so therefore be ready to satisfy your customers if it does not cost you much rather than fighting for yourself alone cuz different kinds of government will go and come, the one of today might be favouring your business, who knows the one that will cone tomorrow. When people say Nigeria musicians are not known in America, I don't see it as a big deal cuz even most of these world foreign famous footballer are also not known in AMERICA. I have seen a video on yahoo news where three famous footballers were bounced out by security men of a club and they were making mouth saying "do you know who I am" and to be sincere with you no one knew them until the news came out the following day and the press made it know that they were public figure. You all should stop acting as if nowadays Nigerians musicians are the only one singing rubbish and nonsense, even the so called western world. Most of their nowadays musicians sing rubbish except for the old ones who are still relevant in the industry and some few new ones that are talented. It's sad that the west has been interfering in foreign govt for years and it's all about their interests and what they can get from the country not what they will give to it.

Let's not for any reason think that the west is interested in our well being. They are not.

Going down the history lane, the western government has never done anything to the Africa that does not favour them. I have never believe in them and I will never. They joined the northern protectorate and the southern protectorate with amalgamation in order to favour them. Where do we find ourselves now, in the dungeon. It's a pity the African government are not yet wise and exposed enough to see what is going on.

The rate at which people are becoming depressed in this country is becoming too alarming. The status of our economy is pushing so many people to commit suicide and our government is not looking at that, rather they decide to add more to our pains by increasing VAT. How do you expect someone who had no money to buy things when VAT was 5% now that it is 7.2%. I know the so called "REVOLUTION" will definitely start one day, I just don't know when it will be.

Writing a song or being a song writer to a musicians has never been a crime in the music industry globally, neither has buying a song from a song writer a crime. What I just don't like in our own music industry is not giving credit to song writers in Nigeria. They deserve to be given awards and recognition for their hardwork. I think Nigeria musicians should start including the names of their songwriters on their album.

My question is what happened to your old customers, were you managing them well, did you update them when you were leaving. I believe that even if it's hard to get new customers, the old ones should still be there. Do you also collect contracts from big organizations, if so what happened to them. You need to work on your public/customer relationship. You don't just sew cloth for person once and leave him to go like that, at least keep in contact with them. Another thing is if you dissapoint your customers, they will definitely not come back, I have a fashion designer who is close to me, he dissapoints every customer I see with him, there was a day he was bragging of having some undone jobs that will fetch his 1.5Million Naira, but not yet done cuz of his unseriousness. Not everything is spiritual, sometimes we are the cause of our problems. And sometimes when your customers come to you and complain about the price you charge him/her, it's an indirect way of telling you that you now have a competitor, which means you should have done something. Just sit down, check where the loop hole are. The first thing you should do is calling your old customers and ask them why you've not been seeing them and also if you have those one that gives you job that fetches you huge sum of money, please go and visit them and sort things out if it's still possible. Another thing which I noticed is that some people plan and move to a bigger place without considering if they've had an increase in their profits, customers which will enable them to have enough to settle their bills. If your old customers are still patronizing you, and no new customers, then you made a mistake by renting a bigger place cuz your profit did not increase and you decided to put an increase in your company expenditure. Don't forget when you move to a bigger place every part of your expenses increases.

Well, let me tell you more about me which you do not know, I currently sit inside AC cuz i am making money from my poultry business , I rear chickens and turkeys, which means I am one of those citizens wishing the Nigeria economy well. The truth is if our so called local are affordable and cheaper than the exported ones, the people will look inward and patronize our locally made rice, but when the local ones are far expensive than the imported ones, I can assure you that people will look outward even if it is not as good as the locally made.
