Fadedvoices2: According to seun ,Danny should go and rule the free cities .
Let Jon go and rule over river lands na
After someone struggled her whole life for the iron throne ,she should surrounder everything to Jon because he’s male . Jon is a good leader according to mr seun , na danny no be good leader abi ?
The only reason most of you don’t want danny on that throne is because she’s a woman and y’all are misogynistic pigs who don’t believe women should be what men are supposed to be.
First of all, Seun was proposing a theory. Not making a decree. But if you want to get all triggered, go ahead. Second, calling us all misogynistic pigs because we don't want Dany on the throne is a load of crap. We could as well call you misandrist for not wanting Jon on the throne. Las las you go dey alright
BetWinners: @mekaprime thinks 15yr olds are "small girls" who dont know whats up.All these small boys for this thread sef
So because they know "what's up" is a justifiable reason to sleep with them? I don't blame you. I blame this shithole of a country. In saner climes, you would have been thrown behind bars
Blockdock90: The extreme leftist feminist propaganda has two aims: 1. Making women powerful, while simultaneously making men weaker and overly subordinate to them 2. Portraying men as nothing but corrupt, rapist, misogynist and tyrannical. GOT has been successfully in pushing this 2 agendas and I argued in my earlier post that it's becoming more obvious in the recent seasons.
Like you made mention of, all powerful male characters like Jeffrey, Ramsey, Little finger, Robert, The Khals etc have been portrayed as rapist, tyrannical, mysoginist or irredeemably corrupt. This is the aim of the propaganda; To portray men as violent, extremely dominant brutes with no moral compass. Hardly is any powerful male character portrayed as someone with good virtues. Ned and Rob fit this mould but both were killed off early. You also made mention of the fact that women couldn't be knights and that women were regarded as property. This fits perfectly in line with the aims of extreme leftist feminist propaganda: To represent the world as a Patriarchal environment that's anti-women.
In the extreme leftist feminist view, the world is an anti-female terrain controlled by powerful mysogynist men who regard women as their property. This is the view that was portrayed in the early seasons. Now what we are getting is what the extreme feminists regard as a solution to this world, that's why you have women given so much power at the expense of men. That's why women are portrayed as bad ass, strong and smart while men are portrayed as subordinate to women. The writers of GOT even take this agenda a step further by emasculating any male that is to have good virtues either by cutting off their balls, like Varys, Grey worm and Theon, making them disabled like Jaime and Bran, making them HALF-MEN like Tyrion or making them fat and physically weak like Sam. Like I said before, Jon is the only powerful character who possess good virtues but he is always demeaned for his height, not being man enough, his heritage or the fact that he knows nothing.
If anyone thinks I'm just ranting crap then you really need to open your eyes and see. Movies & TV shows aren't just for entertainment purposes. They are also used as tools to shape the mass consciousness of the public & to push large scale agendas. This doesn't mean I don't enjoy GOT, of course I do, and I think it's one of the best shows ever made in terms of it's production quality, but all this doesn't prevent me from being able to identify conspicuous themes when I happen to spot them.
Ksslib: The annoying thing about this leak is that it came from Amazon prime Germany. How can you be showing credits of Season 8 premiere then booooom, you transition to Episode 2?
The painful thing is that instead of the viewers to gasp, quickly switch it off & wait for the rest of the world, they sat down and watched like the traitors they are.
Like how do you just watch an episode of GOT you never prepared for sef? How does your brain even work sef? Is something wrong with you? Are you possessed?
I had to mentally prepare myself for the Season premiere. Took my bath, had a haircut & wore suit & cover shoe before climbing my bed to watch.
I remember calling my Indian Guruji , Prakash, to check if my Zodiac alignment & rotation of the moon aligns. I began watching the first episode of season 7 only after he confirmed that lord Shiva gives me the go-ahead.
Whoever spoke trash about Killing Eve should be assassinated by Villanelle. This series has gripped me like the thighs of my lover during lovemaking. Binge mode activated
hakinze00: Every 'Mortal Kombat 11' DLC Characters Reportedly Leaked by Reddit user "LeoNatan" revealed that in the Nintendo Switch files are nine characters listed as DLC content. The user then proceeded to list the characters they found.
Here are the nine DLC characters listed in the game's files:
Is it me or are people not fully receptive of roman reigns? Smack down will give him an opportunity to get back to the big leagues eventually.
Also Lacey Evans looks like the posh version of Charlotte and she can wrestle as well.
The crowd response at Mania was lacklustre. And he's still boring in the ring. After watching his appearance on SD, I wish they'll make him a part-timer. He comes on weekly shows, superman punches and spears people. And we only have to watch him wrestle at PPVs. Also keep his promos short.
Wait just a second! Did you just commend a female wrestler? But how can you praise Lacey Evans and not appreciate Ember Moon and Nikki Cross? Ayam not understanding
CoolUsername: So after the abortion that was Netflix's Death Note live action and the botched circumcision that was the Fullmetal Alchemist movie, it seemed Netflix had learned their lesson with the surprisingly decent Bleach movie.
Now these niggas have decided to do a Cowboy Bebop love action series. Now, this anime is already a heavily westernized classic from the director Shinchiro Watanabe so it was wrote popular in the West. Also, it was set in space so localization shouldn't really be an issue, i.e., Netflix shouldn't have to change sh!t. But of course that's what they did.
Apart from the MC, the main cast was changed radically; Jet Black, the lead character's white-as-fvck partner in crime, was changed to a black guy. Faye Valentine, a Singaporean, was cast as a latina. The frickin' dog, Ein, was changed from a corgi to a husky. Which just goes to show how little Netflix gives a sh.it about its target audience.
Why is it so hard for production companies to respect the source material?
iuwe: I loved it. Mostly during jiraiya's arc. Summoning jutsu in English makes me smile.
Were you the one I told you're weird? Cos I want to reiterate. YOU'RE REALLY WEIRD. Never met anyone who could stand hearing jutsu in English. Till today
Please, stop talking out of point. For all we know, Killmonger could have been killed on sight in Wakanda. His father was killed by the king then, what stops the new king from seeing him as an enemy?
Killmonger went to fight for the throne. He had no way of knowing that he would be successful. After all, T'challa is a warrior on his own right.
Killmonger was determined to succeed in Africa despite the odds being against him. That is not a typical african american.
I said "a chance at the throne." I never implied he knew he was going to succeed. Besides he did his homework. You think he just randomly happened upon the Border tribe with Claue. There was a slimmer chance of him being executed or not gaining an audience, after turning up with one of Wakanda's most hated terrorists.
To even counteract the nonsense that you are arguing about if killmonger came from poor fishing family in somalia, I will point out that Akon went to Senegal to invest. He didnt come from rich family in Senegal.
Funny enough, I agree with you. There are too many fake "woke" people.
No one says that black people have monopoly of racist victimization. Stop trying to play strawmen and deviate from a discussion. Must I talk about Japanese anti-chinese racism whenever I talk about anti-black racism?
I'm not playing strawmen. I just don't understand why we all have to be obsessed with racism when there's many other problems affecting the black race. We're not saying racism doesn't exist or it doesn't affect us. But we also have, to our perspective, more pressing problems and issues to deal with currently.
Furthermore, blacks have suffered racism than any other race, even till today. Just look at how African Americans are treated in their own country. Cops being called on innocent blacks and getting shot.
Part of me feels this has to do with where the black man weighs on the global scale. The US is generally racist to all non-Caucasian races. Why then, is the black man bearing the brunt of most violent race crimes? I honestly feel maybe if one or more African countries had a real say in world matters, this could be curbed. Which brings me back to the importance of first resolving ethnic and tribal issues. How is the world supposed to value the life of the black man if the black man values not his own life? If Africans, with strategic relevance in world matters, denounced the violence against black people all over the world, I think that would make a lot of headway in solving this problem.
And who told you that Killmonger was not going to fight France or Belgium with Wakandas technology? Was it not hinted that his ambitions were global?
Just saying if he was more sympathetic to Africa's problems than his own personal issues, he would have less hate for the US and more the countries I mentioned.
Ogbeni, this is out of point. I could lecture you on why you should also be concerned about racism in the west but that is a conversation for another day.
I am concerned about racism in the West. It's just not at the top of my list of concerns.
I never compared tribalism here with racism abroad. You did that. I never mentioned anything about ignoring problems in Nigeria. You can acknowledge problems in Africa and still be concerned with problems in the West that indirectly affect Africa.
I don't remember comparing tribalism here with racism abroad. I just said we're more concerned with tribalism down here than racism miles away.
And just to let you know, there were many africans who resisted selling their brothers. They were killed. Only typical ignorant Nigerians believe that our ancestors just ran to the white man to sell their brothers.
Jaja of Opobo would be rolling in his grave
Coming from a Capuchin like you, that's a compliment. If you weren't obsessed with your racist perspective, you could have at least noticed that I admitted some were looted. And last I checked, my grandparents couldn't read English so it's unlikely the things they told me were whitewashed by a white man. Only a typical victim-minded person would ignore the part Africans played in the slave trade. They were already trading in slaves. The white man just paid better.
Killmonger is an African not an African American. Unlike the typical African American, he knew his roots and went back.
If his roots had been a fishing family in Somalia or Congo, would he have gone back? His roots came with the chance to command one of the most advanced technologies on the planet. Did he value the Wakandan way of life? No. He just wanted big guns to achieve his vengeance. Same thing a Chicago or Detroit black kid would do if he discovered he was heir to an African weapons manufacturing conglomerate.
You see why I keep saying the average Nigerian like yourself does not understand racism/race? If you were woke enough, you wouldnt be asking why he hated colonialists.
Most of you people claiming to be woke are the ones that spout really ambiguous and ridiculous chaff.
Killmonger obviously suffered racism as a ghetto child in the USA. He was then scripted as a soldier to fight wars for the USA. If you understood your history, America was involved in many unjust wars and looting from many other countries.
Everybody's affected by racism bro. I don't know why black people feel they have a monopoly of racist victimization. Maybe if you and Killmonger actually studied your history, you'd know just about every world power and even China and Japan were involved in many unjust wars and looting from many other countries. If Killmonger wanted a country to be angry at for Africa's sake, France or Belgium would have made more sense.
Now, imagine knowing that you are a an African Prince and then treated like black shite by Americans and then, you are forced to fight for the same country that was occupying/looting other countries, would you like the idea of colonialism?
You're talking African princes when African leaders also experience racism in these countries. And I still don't understand how the racism you experienced in another country translates to colonialism. Is there any country still directly colonised by the West? Isn't it some African leaders choosing to remain subservient to their Western overlords? While tribalism and ethnic conflicts stunt the growth of other countries? So as an African, tell me, should I be more concerned about the racism happening miles away? Or the tribalism threatening me in my own home?
Did it go over your head when Killmonger was in a British museum talking about looted African relics?
So? As if most of those artifacts weren't sold to the British for mirrors, guns and other commodities that Africans marveled at. If we could sell our own people, do you think non-living artifacts would have held any more significance?
JeromeBlack: Repeating a lie many times does not make it true.
Killmonger is one of the most sympathetic villains in comic book movies. He is not one dimensional
What is there to be sympathetic about? "Boo hoo! My uncle killed my dad. So I became a sociopath bent on revenge." Something that uncles do everytime they drag land down here. N'jadaka should shift abeg. Let's see better people
Killmonger is one of the most sympathetic villains in comic book movies.
You should be ashamed as a black african that you cannot understand the deep motivations of killmonger in the BP movie.
Killmonger grew up on hate as it was stated I the movie. He grew up as an abandoned black kid in the ghetto with no parents. His African tribe neglected him while his American roots consisted of racism and poverty.
He fought wars for a country that did not respect his humanity and his race.
Killmonger even delivered one Of the most iconic lines in comic book history-
"Just bury me in the ocean with my ancestors who jumped from ships, 'cause they knew death was better than bondage"
A lot of Nigerians do not understand anything about racism. Shame.
Tribalism we know. Cultural jingoism, absolutely. Nepotism, we can relate. What is this racism you speak of?
