I don't really think Vanessa arc was important. She is killed off and it should have been left at that, but she kept popping up to have monologues with Deadpool, thereby eating up precious time. Well executed, but I saw through the artful ploy.

So would you have preferred Blind Al or Weasel to provide the motives she gave Deadpool to change his goals?

- 14. Yukio: As a pretty capable mutant herself, it boggles the mind why they didn't cast her to play a heavier role, instead of a prop bouncing off hellos repeatedly at Deadpool.
- 13. Negasonic Teenage Warhead: After coming off of a fairly important role in the first installment, the grumpy mutant is essentially relegated to being an extra with her new girlfriend.
- 12. Weasel: Awesome in part 1 with his vulgar unfiltered jokes. Plain boring in part 2 with what was basically the same act. A testament to the fact that repetitive jokes get boring pretty quick.
- 11. Sergei, Bedlam, Zeitgeist, Black Tom Cassidy, Vanessa: Props to keep the plot going.
- 10. Blind Al. The character suffered from the introduction of so many new characters who take up more space. Managed to be memorable from the few screen time she got nonetheless. A well written character.
- 9. Firefist: Cute kid, poor actor.
- 8. Domino: She's proper fit, but she could have done much better with her character. Given too much screen time for her own good.
- 7. The Headmaster: The villainous character did what was expected of him, and did it well.
- 6. Dopinder: Inspite of introduction of several new characters, Deadpool's chauffeur and sidekick managed to grab a lot of screen time, and shined in all. We have the phenomenal chemistry between the actor and Ryan Reynolds to thank for this.
- 5. Colussus: Improved on his role in the first installment. Not a glorified babysitter anymore.
- 4. The Vanisher:The fact we didn't actually get to see him, until the last few seconds he got electrocuted in made the character perfect.
- 3. Juggernaut: Badass. Nothing more to add.
- 2. Cable: Brilliant. Charismatic. Slightly disappointed that he didn't break the 4th wall like in the comics. And the height... should be much taller. Apart from these, Josh Brolin nailed it.
- 1. Deadpool: Ryan Reynolds was born to play Deadpool.

Was The Vanisher cameo so sweet, you had to put him 7 positions ahead of Vanessa. I don't think Vanessa was a prop to advance the plot. She was integral to the plot. Or are you implying those Deadpool near-death experiences were irrelevant?

Nah! I'm too focused in the fight to notice distractions like jiggling. Unless you're playing DoA or some KoF female characters, then it's hard to miss the jiggling. Female characters are usually fast and nimble with flashy moves. My favorite playstyle

I had watched the movie first time and barely noticed the flaws.
I watched it again and again and then i saw the glaring flaws.

There are very few perfect things in this world. Look closely at anything and you'll find flaws, if flaws are what you seek. Avengers: Infinity War is not a perfect movie. But it is an awesome one.

P.S: This Marvel freak and fanboy was defending Man of Steel on the DCEU thread recently.
Fun Fact: You were nowhere to be found. But you're never far away from MCU bashes.

Characters were made too stupid and weak so that Thanos can win.

That is the one thing i hated about Infinity War.

From Hiemdall snubing Thor, Loki and Space Stone to save a stranger he met yesterday.

Gamora heading straight to Thanos instead of staying as far away from him as possible since she is the key to finding soul stone.

Oh...i forgot to mention Loki trying to kill Thanos with a kitchen knife a few seconds after handing him the Space stone and making him stronger.

What about Iron Man trying to talk Starlord into calming down instead holding him or better still...knock him out cold.

And a 6-stoned-IG failing to withstand Thor's new axe.
Wow....wow....wow....so much for being the most powerful weapon in the universe.

What about Thor's inconsistent power levels.

And...Oh...Doctor Strange would sacrifice a stone to save Tony's life....just one life....so that Thanos could wipe out millions of lives.

And few minutes later....Cap and Black Panther would sacrifice half of Wakanda's army to protect a stone.
................The hypocrisy and double standard is glaring.

I understand that Thanos was going to win but that shouldn't involve making characters look stupid on screen.

Come to think of it....Thanos ain't the first CBM villain to win.

Joker won in TDK.
Ozymandais won in Watchmen.
Zemo won in civil war.
Lex Luthor won in BVS.

Why cant Thanos win confortably without Avengers looking weak and stupid

I hope part 2 will avoid repeating these mistakes.
Thanos is going to loose in part 2 but that shouldn't involve making him weak and stupid on screen.

Someone has been reading the whinings of movie critics looking for traffic. Do you get paid to hate the MCU or is it like a hobby you really enjoy?

- Josh Brolin killed it as Cable, although the fact he's quite shorter than the 6'8 foot comic version didn't go unnoticed.
- They should have used a more seasoned actress with screen presence instead of the largely unknown Zazie Beetz. I honestly didn't know who she was until Childish Gambino featured her in Atlanta. Her inexperience showed too.
- The kid they used as Firefist sucked.

And... Of course you rate how iconic a character is by how fans like or dislike him so, yea. Fans favorite can be classified as being iconic. Imagine if people preferred another character other than Mario back then. He wouldn't have been as popular as he is presently.

Then games like Resident Evil, Assassin's Creed, League of Legends, Overwatch, etc would have the same problem. IMO, a character is iconic when they're are popular or at least, known to fans outside their genre. They're the poster boys/girls of their genres and franchises. Non-fighting gamers will definitely know Ryu or Chun Li, most likely know of Scorpion or Sub-Zero and might have heard of Heihachi or Kazuya. But they'll have a hard time placing names or faces like Yoshimitsu, Eddy, Kitana or Noob Saibot
