Which programme are u going for?
Thanksss:
Good evening and kudos to justwise and all the gurus on the thread.. have been a silent reader

I want to start my processing for January intake
I've applied to BCU, Chester and Coventry uni since August 28th and have not yet heard from them.

so I checked BCU student portal I saw yesterday via the student portal that decision had been made on my application, and that I could accept or reject the offer.
However, there was no offer letter or any attachment about the details of the offer.

Then today the decision and offer part had been removed from the portal.

Please any advice on what to do? I sent a mail already which they haven't responded to. I applied more than a month ago and we need enough time for visa process.

Thank you.
please note:I chose these universities cos their fees are within my budge.

When did you get the mail from Bournemouth? Because I applied there too, same course but I got a different mail stating the scholarship and a different mail for my offer. So maybe you can be patient or send them a mail for the scholarship if you decide that's where you want to go
Please when did you apply to Bournemouth?

At ministry of education you pay 1000 for waec scratch card, 600 for a form, 1350 for remita and 1000 for letter of eligibility

I tried ministry of foreign affairs and was told its still on partial lockdown and some people serving as agents met me outside and said they could do it for me for 1k for document
is the price fixed no matter d number/pages of documents

You are wrong..how can one without b.sc go in for M.sc?
FrannyTee:

Yes you are right for those without BSc in nursing, they can go for MSc pre-registration nursing for 2 years
Travel / Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 17 by Kaycevit: 12:39pm On Jun 07, 2020
You have said it all..hmmm..the risk involved
ralfudoh:
I agree with you. Its a very tricky situation. Mind you, the schools want your money and will be happy to allow you enroll and pay tuition fees and attend classes. CIC can still refuse you. Except if you are financially stable and willing to battle it out with IRCC with the help of an immigration lawyer. If not, egun gun has to be careful, cos na express you d go with your money.

Please be guided.. online study without atleast study permit approval will not have effect on the decisions of IRCC couple with the high study visa denial rate at the moment..let all be wise using this approach
jessicajessa:
How do you then intend to proof your genuiness? I have seen countless genuine people get denied.

If applicants have questions and concerns, l advise they contact their school directly, each school have an international student advisor.

Besides the school won't be sending an option for online study to international student if they haven't made their findings....so do not deny yourself an opportunity because of fear!

I advise do your findings, contact your school if you are in the shoes of the concerned applicants.
Travel / Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 17 by Kaycevit: 11:28am On Jun 07, 2020
Let us be cautious about this online study stuff..it is advisable to have a study permit or approval before u can enroll to study online..I feel online study will have no effect on the decision of the vo's..it is better to wait for IRCC decision on your application before embarking on such
Patty03:
News update from IRCC says one can start courses online without study permit!

Continue ur negative assumption...The young man I know very well has gotten passport request after four attempts
ralfudoh:
There was maintenance on that day sir. Secondly I only proved to you that CIC always states maintenance on their site. That you didn't know. So relax.
Frank pointed it out that there was maintenance. You can argue that with him. Besides, I know several others that knew there was maintenance on that day. Dont come and argue blindly. I got most of my updates after maintenance. Not before. Take note

Lol. Oga, it was stated on CIC site. Always ask before you assume or speak.
Showing screenshot is optional but goes a long way in encouraging other applicants.
Check the date Chalva received his approval..there was no maintenance going on that day..don't just assume maintenance every Tuesday..CIC always update maintenance on their website whenever it arises probably on Tuesday..that does not mean every Tuesday is maintenance day.The first denial I got was on Tuesday

ralfudoh:
But I think someone got approved in one week here. Frank asked for screen shot of it as we were all eager to see how it was done on a day maintenance was ongoing. But we never saw it. In overall, I dont think anyone has gotten feedback on study permit. PR applicants have been getting approval though.
bro..how did u know that maintenance was ongoing that day when it was not stated on CIC website. Let us not always assume things here....Showing of screenshot should be a personal decision and may not be applicable here

Hi bosses, I am new here. I got an offer to study MSc. in UNIBO. I have done the translation of my documents but left with authentication in both MoE and MFA due to interstate travel ban. For the VISA pre-enrolment, what are the requirements documents? And again, as a freelancer, how can I declare myself as sponsorship?
Please who did the translation for u?..I need the contact of the person that did ur translation please

Do Lagos embassy recommend where to do the translation? How much did d charge u for translation? Which documents did u translate?

I have only done translation... I'm yet to authenticate my documents at MOE & MFA. As a result of the inter-state travel ban

This is really absurd to say the least.. I have same documents like u except that I'll be sponsoring myself. Sorry about the whole wasted effort to get admission and now this.. Maybe I should look elsewhere o.. This is really discouraging

My brother..it is better to look elsewhere if u have alternatives..I was denied for insufficient tuition fund when I have paid for d program full tuition with tuition fee payment receipt attached..it s quite discouraging... Getting admission is one thing.. Getting Visa is another thing...They should come out with modalities for their visa application from Nigeria..Kenya Vo's/Robots are biased with most Applications coming from Nigeria because of our economic situation....those clamouring for gcms notes..I bet u..u may not see anything different from other gcms notes with the same generic reasons..My special thanks goes to Frank and jephehe

My refusal letter just dropped now..one of the reasons they gave was insufficient fund for tuition..I paid full tuition for the desired program..IRCC mainly those Kenya guys don't go through most Applications..I said it earlier..they are confused..I guess may be ROBOT are doing the job now because there is no justification for refusing visa based on insufficient fund when I have paid full tuition for the program which is verifiable...I MAY TAKE THEM TO COURT..so that d can summon d Vo/Robot...any suggestion s welcomed.. Payment receipt from the school was uploaded and well pointed out in the SOP
Another reason was current employment for a Nurse that have worked in a verifiable government parastatal for atleast 4 yrs now with payslips, leave letter, salary account showing salary/income, introduction letter from office etc.all these are easily verifiable if the claim that the re strict and thorough.. this is mere wickedness from the ROBOT because humans cannot act this way
