I hope you heard wrong, why would Wenger want to flush Coquelin ?

The headline after 90 mins will be "WIGAN RELEGATED !!!!! "

I like Wiigan and would have loved to see them stay up; it's unfortunate they have to come and get whopped by Arsenal at this time of the season.

Spuddies assume your natural Europa League position on the table.

FamilyRe: Is It Advisable For A 27-yr-old Graduate To Rent His Own Place? by KayDee4: 10:08pm On May 10, 2013
Na wah o
see people equating "moving out of your parents'" to maturity and being responsible. I know people who live on their own but have still failed to grow up and act responsibly.
@OP , there's no point rushing out of your parent's house if they are not chasing you out and you're not financially ready to live on your own.
Ignore the comments from people calling you a shameless 'child' or comparing you to their younger siblings, weigh the cost of commuting to work (financial & physical) against the cost of moving out and decide for yourself.
Some people rush to move out early all in the name of "big boyism" and end up broke and hungry at the end of every month after paying rent and bills, then run back home like prodigal children.
If you're ready to move, explain the issue of proximity to work and the need for privacy to them, I don't think they will have a problem with that.
PoliticsRe: El-Rufai To Soludo: You Created A Cancer by KayDee4:
Haha, the truth surely lies somewhere inbetween.
I'm sure they both had serious shortcomings in carrying out their national assignments but no one is willing to admit in his own version of the story.
The inaccuracies in El Rufai's book undermines the credibility of his sources and the book as a whole. Trying to pin the blame on the editor is mere "tales by moonlight".
About Soludo's consolidation excercise, it had some level of success and failure as well so I would'nt call it a total failure. Contrary to Mallam's claim, there was increased employment and expansion by the banks. The money and capital markets were doing really well although loose regulations only meant the boom was a ticking time-bomb waiting to explode if nothing was done. SLS's intervention came to the rescue although his radical approach to some issues only served to undo some of Soludo's work (which we never know how they would have turned out if given more time).

The drama and back-and-forth between these two only provides us good entertainment as they open each other's 'nyash' on behind-the-scenes happenings and all the hidden stories we never heard cheesy grin .

Rossikk: Stop talking rubbish. You cannot cover the ignorance and stupi.dity of those who have posted illiterate nonsense here no matter how much you try.
Typical of the NL resident rètard; you can't make a simple comment without insulting your entire village first.

Always so eager to showcase your arrogance and stupìdìty.

It is "rubbish" because . . . . . ? They don't have to be intelligent to get the job done ?

PoliticsRe: 95 Percent Of Nigerian Police Officers Fail Intelligence Test by KayDee4: 12:36pm On May 03, 2013
HNosegbe: I hope you guys know that "intelligence" in this context has a different meaning entirely.

Don't make ignorant comments please.
It's all encompassing. You have to be intelligent and able to think outside the box to make a good 'intelligence' officer.
TravelRe: Dead Traffic-Lights & Blocked Drainage In Abuja by KayDee4:
@lastpope, I don't quite get the idea behind your posts of slums in SA and India. Is that supposed to be justification for us having our own slums or dying, neglected and decaying infrastructure. The OP never compared his posts to any other place.

Whenever someone points out things that are going wrong in the country, some over-patriotic people take it as an attack on Nigeria and jump to the defence of the indefensible.

While I like to compare the US and other places to Nigeria at times, it's always in an attempt to show what others are doing right and hope that we can copy and follow their path to get it right in Nigeria too. I don't expect us to follow suit when they get it wrong or worse than us(which is rarely the case anyway).

No matter what anyone thinks about the OPs post or his manner of approach, one thing we can all agree on is that, it's a really sad and terrible situation (not just of the traffic lights but other pictures posted). That being said, NL is a good place for everyone to point out flaws and voice their opinions and I think we should make better use of it as a means to get the message to the people responsible, somehow, someway and see that the problem is solved instead of coming here, 'e-beating' the crap out of each other and going back to our different corners while the problem remains everlastingly unsolved.

I didn't expect Naija to make the list. The Nigerian economy and tourist attractions will always bring visitors to the country.

shymexx: I've never been a fan of graphic novels and fictional stuffs... I did a few comic books in pry. and sec. school like: Spider-Man, Wolverine and Nick Fury, The Punisher, X-men, Power Rangers, Super-Man, Silver Surfer etc. - and that's about... I'm more into real life stuffs - that was the way I was raised... However, I've always played video-games/handheld-games all my life - from gameboy, gamegirl, brickgames, familycom, archade games, sega mega, Super Nintendo, Nintendo 64, PS series, to X-box series... and I'm not stopping any time soon...looool

Anyway, the leeching elites of the almighty bilderberg group have been leeching the country for eons with nothing to show for it... Perhaps, they need people like me(and my investment) out there to save Congo DR from its generational destruction...
Gamegirl or Game gear ?

Okay, time to give credit where credit is due.
I was at the ATL consulate some days ago and I got one of the best service experiences ever - home and abroad.
I traveled to somewhere else from there and by the time I got back to base at the end of the week, my new passport was sitting in my mail box waiting for me.
Big ups to the lads down there @ the consulate.
