Good morning everyone,

I'm writing to say a big thank you to everyone who commented on this thread. I'm not forgetting those who read this story, and those who shared this story.

A big deal of appreciation goes to those who criticized me, encouraged me and spurred me on.

I apologize that the story dragged this long. I guess I was not as chanced as I was when writing AEWE. I can only hope that you have been touched by this story positively, and that I have been able to entertain you.

I will be gone for a while.

I need time to recuperate, to gather my thoughts and to come up with something tasty and different. I have already begun writing my new story, "The Hunt" but it is not designed for NL audience. I may change my mind on that one. There's going to be a sequel to this story. I think I will call it, "ShadowCorp". As you may have noticed, the story had no clear ending. It was deliberate. I don't know how long I will be gone, but I hope it won't be for too long.

I would still be very much around though. You can visit the diary section if you're curious about what's happening to your darling writer. I also plan to be a little more active in the sexuality section.

I will miss you all.

In the words of the terminator,

"I will be back."

Still, I write.

Evening my people.

It's the last day of 2014. Wouldn't it be beautiful to have this story end on the last day of the year?

Yeah, I'm ending this story tonight.

War, blood, betrayal, trust, family, death.

It all happens tonight in the final episode of...

THE COMPLETE ASSASSIN

Keep it locked.

Hey guys,

Good morning y'all.

I'm so sorry for the long absence. A lot of things have been going on with me lately and has made me unable to post. Will probably update my diary to that effect.

To everyone who has kept faith, I say a very big thank you.

To everyone who left, I still love you.

And to my new followers, welcome aboard.

Still I write.

CHAPTER SEVEN

CHRISTOPHER

WRITER: KAYEMJAY

Rimi was back in his hotel room. It was a few minutes till midnight. After a long argument which Zainab had won, he agreed that they could sleep in separate rooms. He paced the room, hands behind him. His mind was occupied. Very occupied. He kept wondering why Tonia would want to have him killed. What motive did she have? Uche he could understand. But Tonia? It just was not adding up. He had barely gotten out of prison and now he was wanted dead? There had to be something about him that people wanted desperately. What was it? He tried to connect the dots, but the lines kept disappearing. However, he had one single unwavering conclusion. Whatever it was, it had started that night of the theft at the jewellery store. He opened the curtains slightly and peeped through the window. The car park was deserted. There was no movement outside the motel. He kept staring. He had to be very alert now and conscious of his surroundings because he had no doubts whatsoever that those who wanted him dead would probably try again. Zainab was probably attacked because of him. He needed to be far away from her as possible. But how would he manage that? She was a huge piece of the puzzle and she was the only person who could help him make sense of all that was happening at the moment. He had no friend or family to turn to. He also could not run away because Zainab still suspected albeit lightly that he had a hand in the death of her father. He could not just leave. There have been two near death incidences in as many days, It was not a good sign.

He left the window and sat on the bed, his head in his hands. He was confused. He needed some sort of direction but what would he do? He was still deep in thought when there came a knock on the door. He became alert. Who would be knocking at this time of day? He checked the clock on the wall. It was 12:25am. He waited for a while and then he heard the knock again. His heart began to beat fast. He looked around for some sort of weapon he could swing. There was a ceramic flower vase on the table. It would have to suffice. He removed the flowers from the vase and brandished the ceramic container as he approached the door. As he neared the door, the knock came again, accompanied by a voice.

“Hey, it’s me.”

The voice was unmistakably clear. Even in the middle of a raging storm, he would still be able to recognize Zainab’s voice. However, he peeped in the door hole just to be sure. She gave him a sweet smile. He nodded and opened the door. She was dressed in a sexy lingerie covered by knee length silk night gown. After letting her in, Rimi looked at the corridor for a few seconds to be sure no one followed her. Satisfied, he locked the door shut.

“That flower vase sure is a deadly weapon.” Zainab teased as she nodded at the ceramic container still in Rimi’s hand.

“You can never be too careful these days, especially with people trying to get me killed. There is no such thing as being over prepared you know.” Rimi replied.

“Yes ames Bond.”

“What brings you here?” Rimi asked.

“I can't sleep. I'm also scared. I see the faces of those guys who attacked us whenever I close my eyes. Do you mind if I stay here for a while? Please?” She was freaked out and he felt sorry for her.

“Not at all Zainab. Make yourself comfortable.”

“Thank you.”

Zainab lay on the bed as Rimi busied himself with replacing the flowers in the vase. He looked up at her and she caught him staring. She had such fine and beautiful skin. He temporarily forgot about his problems and began to fantasize about a million things that could happen between both of them in the next few hours. Done with the vase, he moved round and sat beside her on the only bed in the room.

“I think I know a way we can find Uche and probably Tonia too.” Rimi said.

Zainab just looked at him, locked in his gaze. She wondered if it was the amnesia giving him ideas or he was finally going nuts. This was a man who had been cut off from the world for years. He had no idea where Uche or Tonia was, and here he was saying he knew a way to get them. It was unbelievable.

“What do you have in mind?” Zainab asked.

“While I was incarcerated, I met a man. He looked so lean and fragile. His hair was bushy and unkempt and he was always wearing glasses. He was kept in the same cell as I was, far away from the hardened criminals so I was really interested in him. It happened that his crime was hacking into the database of the government and manipulating information for some unknown clients. He would not reveal who his clients were so he was locked up. No trial, nothing. While we got close, he opened up to me that he had also hacked into several bank servers, diverted money, changed account information and got people into trouble. All he needed was a device and an internet connection and he usually worked wonders. Months after he was imprisoned, we were having a general breakfast in the prison cafeteria when one of the hardened criminals came to our table and bullied Christopher…”

“That’s his name? Christopher?” Zaniab interrupted.

“Yes, Christopher. Anyways, a fight ensued and I broke the criminal’s jaw. They never bothered me or Christopher after that. He got out of prison in funny circumstances. I don’t know how he did it, but he somehow convinced the warder assigned to our cells, to sneak him a smart phone with internet connectivity. He was supposed to return the phone the next day. And he did. The phone left the prison the next day, and so did Christopher.”

“How did he do it?” Zainab asked again

“He accessed the email of the Chief Judge of the Federal High Court, forged a strong mail absolving him of all crimes labeled against him and sent it to the Director of Prisons effecting his immediate release. He had been planning his escape from the day he entered but he said he needed to study the system and understand how it worked. Obviously the prison system was flawed and things were done with no questions asked. He just had to bid time. He told me how to contact him if I ever got out and needed his help. I think he can help us trace the whereabouts of Uche and Tonia.” Rimi finished.

“Alright then. Can we do this first thing in the morning? I really need to close my eyes for a bit.” Zainab said, lying on the bed and putting her head on Rimi’s laps.

Rimi tried so hard to make his mind wander from the thoughts of Zainab but he could not help it. He watched as she slept; her huge, firm bosoms moving at par with her breathing. He needed to get up and sleep too but he did not want to wake her. He put a hand on her face and gently caressed the sides of her chin, adjusting her hair back in place. He continued like that for a while and then moved to her arm. He moved his fingers lightly up and down her arm as far as he could reach. If she felt anything, she did not show it. Rimi moved his hand back to her face and continued to touch her chin caressing her hairline lightly. Then it happened.

Zainab took Rimi’s hand, pulling him to herself. His lips landed on hers as they kissed with a hunger that only passion could quench. Rimi landed beside her on the bed as they continued to kiss, helping each other take off their clothes as if they were on fire. Zainab did not know why and at this point she did not care. She had a desire, a burning desire that had to be satiated and right now Rimi was the only choice. Rimi wanted her so badly but he never anticipated that she would come at him so hard. It was unexpected but pleasing. He lay on his back, as she came on top of him, straddling him. They intertwined in lust, having a go at each other with reckless abandon. When they were done Zainab lay her head on Rimi’s chest savouring the feeling of satisfaction and finally able to really sleep. Rimi caressed her back, gently nudging her to sleep and closed his eyes.

In the distance, outside the motel a black Van with tinted glasses was parked. There with a special kind of binoculars, Kassim watched the couple make out. He shook his head, brought out a writing pad and included a new entry, continuing where he left off.

2:16am. Sleeping soundly at Mayor’s Hotels after pleasuring themselves.

Kassim was careful, smart and very patient. His patience was his most deadly asset. He set his alarm timer to 4:00am and adjusted his seat backwards.

Folding his arms across his chest, he closed his eyes and waited.

Tonia tapped Uche twice on the arm waking him from sleep. He sounded grumpy and whispered something that sounded like he needed more sleep.

“Honey, the baby just kicked.” Tonia said excitedly.

They had waited for this moment, the first kick of the baby. It was an experience both of them had planned to share. Uche placed his hand on Tonia protruded belly, and listened. Another kick.

“Did you feel that?” Tonia asked

“Yes. I did. I am so happy my princess.” Uche said and kissed her forehead. He planted another kiss on the centre of her stomach.

“You deserve a treat. Let’s buy that favourite phone you always wanted from the online store you recommended.” Uche finished.

“Really? Thank you baby.” Tonia said and kissed Uche.

Uche took out his Mastercard and made the purchase. It would be delivered in a few hours.

**************

Mr Dino Brown was sipping a bottle of water when Bull came into the room. Bull was not really in a good mood. He was pensive. He approached Mr Dino and stood at attention.

“You sent for me Boss?” Bull asked

“Yes I did. What was the rancour outside about?” Dino asked

“It’s nothing Boss. One misfit who was so desperate to see you without any prior appointment.”

“What did he want?”

“Says he got information that he wants to trade else he would go to your rival, Don Kamir.”

“No one knows Don Kamir! I want to see him. Let him in.”

“But Boss…”

“No arguments! I said let him in.” Dino Brown screamed, coughing at the same time.

“Sorry Boss. Bringing him in right away.”

A few minutes later, the man was ushered into Dino Brown’s presence. The Boss scrutinized him and shook his head. He really was a misfit.

“What is your name son?” Dino Brown asked.

The man removed his glasses and ran his hand through his afro.

“My name is Christopher.”
