I also don't see your later point as valid. The only thing close to that was the civil war and that involved all the tribes of the Nigeria that didnt fall under Biafra, so nothing specifies a shared enemy or common bond between Hausa and Yoruba.

Based on shared values, Yorubas are closer to Igbos. So please stop the unfounded allegations
