I don't give a rat's ass where he is from. He is a bigot. That's all that matters to me. |

honourhim: Oga read my post again before you respond. Nobody is sacking him since he has apologized.
What he did was bad and stu.pid of him but his apologies have been accepted by many south westerners who condemned him. Those of you who are waiting for him to be sacked may have to wait in vain.
But this is not the purpose i opened this thread. Read again fro proper understanding. Doofus. An apology will not repair Vanguard's credibility |

Politics › Re: Who Is Afraid Of Igbo? by kayfra: 3:49pm On Jun 14, 2018 |
Yellowface1220: The fear of Igbo domination is responsible for a lot of events in Nigerian history. Chinua Achebe on the Igbo,...... "People so free from the hindrances of religion, and imposing statures of potentates that when western education came, They were so free to drive at whatever was on offer and so soon seized the stage in ways that even marveled the white man." Lord Brandon in justifying Gowon's measures during the war said, "...these Ibos are a people you can hardly understand their motivation. They seized western education as if it was created for them and so rattled other ethnic groups in ways that induced fear of domination, which is the cause of the desire to halt their advances"...... Achebe died a bitter and bigotted old man that didnt live to see his dreams. |
Politics › Re: Who Is Afraid Of Igbo? by kayfra: 3:25pm On Jun 14, 2018 |
Odingo1: All this is just political superficial calculation.
In all this, Igbos are just trying to re-enter Nigeria politics after years of battered image.
This connection are just shallow, the real deep bond are between Hausa-Fulani and Yorubas because they always forget their differences in fighting the Igbos despite been in opposition parties. You can't trivialize as superficial calculations. Most of the aforementioned relationships involved emotional and pocket book investments via votes. I also don't see your later point as valid. The only thing close to that was the civil war and that involved all the tribes of the Nigeria that didnt fall under Biafra, so nothing specifies a shared enemy or common bond between Hausa and Yoruba. Based on shared values, Yorubas are closer to Igbos. So please stop the unfounded allegations |

what a wicked and blood filled comment. Do you see them worshipping on the throne of a misguided war and generally making a fool of themselves everywhere? LochOtieno: Nothing to forget.....people that died are not chickens......they are human beings for christ sake........... What about people that died on the Nigerian side? Casualties of war were not restricted to Biafra and even within Biafra, the casualties in the Biafran side wasn't limited to Igbos! What about the Ibibios, Ijaws, Akan, Efiks etc that died fighting for Biafra. Have they not moved on? Pleaseeeeeee |

Stop reverse engineering out history to fit into some semitic nonsense. We have DNA that shows most Yorubas ancestors reverse migrated back into the African continent. But, it's just a tiny fraction of our DNA. We are indigenous Africans for all intents and purposes. |

Other maybe criticizing constructively, his own is bent on hate. To steal, kill and destroy anything that will give Igbo some credit.
He is trying to discredit nwosus role in June 12 so in order to remove anything Igbo out of the June 12 struggle.

chuksjuve: MKO deserves the award , that's not a fact to debate..
Albeit , the timing and process surrounding the whole things reeks of political gimmicks and a way to pacify the west to sway their votes and emotions towards 2019 election ... The west knows and understands the timing. Justice delayed is still justice and Nigerians should celebrate it appropriately |
