I know you don't even what happens in the world. Brazil, Argentina has done it severally but still things kept going from bad to worst. Redenominating your currency is not a very good economic sense. You have to reprint all your currency from A-Z, Thats another economic loss. You have to pay to destroy all existing currency. Another economic waste. You need a lesson in English comprehension if you don't realize that I am not for redomination. I'll type it in iPob dramatic language next time so it's clear to you. Pathetic and sad! |

selemempe: so can u tell me wat i said there that was indoctrinated by western economics?
I just gave 3 scenerios in which removing zeros can help in an economy. If u read well, u will see that its positive effects are mostly psychological...which is true for all economies All your examples had the fundamentals of the economy changing before redomination. So your sermon is just meh Redomination by itself is symbolic feel good bollocks. Probably saves CBN the cost of papers to print higher denomination on the long term |

Tolexander: It doesn't change anything on the economy. Only creates a problem of trying to adjust the whole system to the new currency. iPob folks lack knowledge of economics or simple common sense. Redomination of the currency does nothing to the fundamentals |

Moorish: Moor is not even our original name
it was the romans who called us that
Moor was a derivative of Ta Meri, Ta maurians, then it became maurs, that is the original land of Mauritania that we held before the invasion of rome.. however the arabs helped us re-conquer that land, thats when we named it mauritania
Anyway Ta meri, Ta seti (Egypt and nubia) were quite possibly our first civilizations before we spread throughout the mother continent
Peace Except you just call all dark-skinned West African and North African Moors. Lmao |

Olu317: No one is engineering Judeo-christian narrative to fit into Yoruba culture but ancient Hebrew that existed before Judaism existed. Do you even know Mossa was also eaten in ancient Hebrew Land as a form of unleavened Bread? If you have problem with seeing from people's opinion who have been researching the claims by some western scholars in the past, then pick interest in reading ancient Hebrew's history. So that you will have evidence to counter some of us that have dug deeper than you people. And if you can't do such strenuous research, then read through to add to your own knowledge. Mossa? That is useless info. Anecdotal at best |

People are just stupid , from knowledge of anthropology and etymology i know all blacks aren't the same .. we come different genetic variant that gives human diversity... Average yoruba guy carries at least 5% Fulani (Mali and Senegal) DNA. Those guys have extensive admixture with moors |

Obalufon: Admixture from where ?..Where in north of Sahara?. Nupe people claim Egyptian Origin likewise Igala Bariba claim Middle east Oyo claim Mecca.origin .Ijebu monarch claim Sudan Origin...
I'm proud yoruba.. and also Ife aborigine . ....people don't just spring from a spot .. The Yorubas have Eurasia gene admixture that dates thousands of years ago. The quote is below: HG = Hunter Gatherer Eurasia = Europe/Asia SSA = Sub Sahara Africa "We found evidence for historically complex and regionally distinct admixture with multiple HG and Eurasian populations across SSA (Fig. 2 and Supplementary Note 5). Specifically, ancient Eurasian admixture was observed in central West African populations (Yoruba; ~7,500–10,500 years ago), old admixture among Ethiopian populations (~2,400–3,200 years ago) consistent with previous reports10, 12, and more recent complex admixture in some East African populations (~150–1,500 years ago) (Fig. 2, Extended Data Fig. 7 and Supplementary Note 5). Our finding of ancient Eurasian admixture corroborates findings of non-zero Neanderthal ancestry in Yoruba, which is likely to have been introduced through Eurasian admixture and back migration, possibly facilitated by greening of the Sahara desert during this period13, 14." Not only the Eurasia admixture they also have Neanderthal genes just like they have in native Eurasian population. SO it seems we went out of Africa, mixed and came back to Africa which is similar to the whole Oduduwa-Lamurudu claims. It's really an intriguing find and just corroborates whats griots have been saying.
