Its the 1st time i have been called for medicals, and the medicals hv taken foever my issue is i didnt get an approval mail. Do u know of any one who got TRV without approval mail? My story will end in praise!

I also tracked mine and got PP dispatched. So till we get our docs then we get to know what's up. Am very positive it will end in Praise for us all.

I noticed no1 via paper route got an approval mail this week. So it might just be the trend. We all gonna Smile this new week. The TRV is our Christmas gift. Amen!

Yes you have to. But for medicals I guess you pay half the price if uve already done medicals within a year. Pls what where the reasons for your refusal?

These reasons for denial are just not it. One applying for the second time and the VO still ticking Purpose of Visit for that reason no visa. It is well Sir, cheer up!!!

So we all tracked our app today, been dispatched but no approval mail. Hopefully the TRV is already been packaged for collection at vfs. Let's be hopeful nd it might take a week before we get it.

I applied with my fiancé same day, we got medical requests on 26th &27th October respectively and we did medicals on the 30th October same day. But till now, he hasn't gotten any response from CIC and his school starts on the 5th January.

As regards this, u can't completely write off the help of an agent tho. You also need to do ur homework, find out how genuine the agency is. Still come on NL to get vital info in packaging ur app. All the best brother

Our govt. has to come to the aid of ordinary Nigerians, it is so so sad for one to waste 28-48k and more for logistics such as transportation, hotel accommodation and feeding for the three days one will be out of his/her place of residence. Spending more is crazy and I think it is a daylight robbery of helpless Nigerians. This ugly trend has to change and govt. should not allow any foreign govt. exploit us in our own land.
To all TRV hopeful including myself I wish us luck and God's favour, even after Medical passed, it ain't no longer certain, but we will clap back at last.

Hopefully we all gonna Smile soonest. The wait is killing after medicals done. This new week makes it the 8th week after app submitted via paper route.

I did my medicals at the consultant practice ikoyi. I just checked on a laptop . It says my application has been approved and it has my name and , uci no, and application no. So will keep checking vfs website for dispatch mail I'm guessing.

Am happy peeps that applied october, getting good news already. My own is next

Hello House! I just got a mail with an attachment saying my application to study has been approved but the doc does not have my name or uci number on the letter itself . I only just did my medicals on Thursday and I called the hospital today and they said I should call back at the end of the week that it usually takes 6 days to send. Also the status on my passport in vfs says it's still being processed. Please gurus in the house kindly explain I'm a bit confused and shocked ?

Greetings from Toronto to you all incoming and prospective students. ON how to get cheaper air tickets, Isuggest you do book it through credible websites or agencies. You could always check and compare prices from expedia.com and make a choice. I am pretty sure the VAC/IOM which process your applicants also has extremely discounted air ticket rates for Canada-bound students . Dubious individuals posing as ticket agents may inflate the rates or abscond with your money. Be cautious.

On student jobs here in Canada, as one of the colleagues said above it is always open to chances, the season and the aggressiveness of the student. I was a masters student in Political science and had a guaranteed job as Teaching and Research Assistant for 1yr. I was making $32/hr

What you must know is that most student visas come with limited number of on/off-campus hours of work. In most cases CIC forbids you from working more than 20hrs per week so long as you are a full time student. What most aggressive students do is to do what is called working under carpet. it means you work alright but must make sure your company doesnt pay in your name so it does not reflect in the database of the government. There are ways around that sha. Summer (May-Aug) is the best time to land multiple jobs in populated provinces like Ontario. Be careful not to overwork and have your academic grades sink. The best way to get a job here is to sign up with Temporal recruitment agencies, register with job search websites or rely on referrals of other students who are already established here. You could make btn $CAD 11.35-20 depending on the type of job. I hope this helps.nIf you need help with accomodation or airport pick up I am ready to help. Only for students coming to Ontario

I just got a rejection letter from the Canadian embassy. I applied on online on 30th Sept, did my biometrics 3rd October, got a request for medicals on 29th October and got a rejection letter on 18th November(yesterday). Am soo sad because I didn't expect it.
I have also paid my school fees and I submitted all the required documents. I just finished my nysc July 2nd.. I applied for a pg course in coronary care nursing at Seneca college and my school starts 11th January 2016.
How do I convince them that I will come back after studies?
Was I rejected because I haven't travelled outside the country before?
I want to apply again and I need help please..

Hmmm..... X3 of my cousins were recently victim of refusal after medical passed. Funny enough they had thought their application was perfectly OK but the last one cos they were 4 in numbers who had thought his application wasn't properly packaged got his Trv approved yesterday and he didn't pay any tuition deposit neither did he included his personal statement of account. Though our big uncle provided his account with a balance of 13m. Wonders shall never end!
To all trv hopefuls, pls keep your faith strong. It is well.

I don't just get it, refusing visa after one would have done medicals. Tot medical call was a 99% assurance one is getting the TRV. God help us all.

I don't think the payslip is of much importance like that if u don't submit, so far the company has been able to introduce you and SOA is very Ok together with ur SOP stating your intentions. I think you good to go. For pension I don't really know tho
