Foreign Affairs › Re: US Considers Ban On Russian Oil Imports by kaymart: 10:57am On Mar 07, 2022 |
Kokaine: I was forced to browse to know what channels are available in the western countries. Because all news channels on dstv seem controlled to me. BBC and shamefully aljazera are all reporting this incident from only one view. I am yet to see any analysis that is just and exposes the true picture of what is happening in Ukraine. How come no one is really talking about the stupidity of zelensky and the dumbness of his decision to join NATO in the first place. If this war did not happen, many would still be in the dark as to the West's actual operations. Everyone thought they would go sword in hands with Ukraine and fight their fate. But they pulled back. They cheered them on from a distance. They gave a thousand excuses and now are relying on sanctions that will drag many European countries and even Africa to a severe economic depression. They will only empower the Chinese yen and deplete dollar and Euro. No one is critically analysing USA's exploit in other climes to see how they brought many countries to ruins. They reduced democracy to its trellises in many places for reasons less threatening than the reason Russia is moved to war. I am with Donald trump on the weaponized use of media to brainwash educated people. Well.. If this war endures for a month, we will now buy bread for 5k and a salary of 500k monthly will be insufficient for a family of six Listen to Tucker, fox news |

buJu234: but it will not still replace the Russian production quota in the OPEC+ system na.
which means that the price of oil will increase further than $110 per barrel..
Nigeria should take advantage of this to pay off a large portion of the National debt, increase the dollar reserves and grow the lives of her citizens..
after all the 2022 budget was based on oil price less than $100 Forget Nigeria Abeg... Nigeria that will still use the dollar gained to import petrol and diesel. Isn't this a curse? |

irunoko: why did you say so? Why do you wish her so much evil? Care to explain? I do not wish her evil. Infact I don't know her. I'm only saying exactly what it is.... Someone got married cos of leverage( what she could easily gained from an innocent unsuspecting man). After getting what she thought she needs, she sort for divorce. Then, she will be hoping to "monkey-branch" onto the next guy, then to the next guy after the next guy and the cycle goes on and on. She can't get real feelings anymore. It's because of the horrible decisions due to her own poor judgements in the past... She must have made life miserable for the guys who genuinely loved her for who she truly is. Then, she was getting the wrong guys who are only interested in pumping and dumping. The fact that she's showing those pictures is a proof of how empty she's feeling inside. She needs validation again and again... I wish her luck but surely what goes around comes around. |

She's damaged beyond repair.. She's been broken, battered and damaged cos of her own horrible decisions due to her poor judgements.
Men that will come her way, I mean the one that actually will care for her will surely pay dearly for the mess they didn't cause. I pity them in advance. |

Things are becoming expensive there as well.... In 2015, I travelled to Sokoto via Zamfara/Kebbi route .... If u see the cost of things then, how cheap they were.... Water melon, onions, beef....They were really far cheaper then....
We have to appreciate that those items are still cheap when compared to other places but the fact is....it's getting more and more expensive. It used to be far cheaper. |

Oyiboman69: it is obvious you don't know the origin of this conflict or you chose to ignore what the freedom of Ukraine stands for. What would you propose in these situation if you are the Ukrainians?. Pls answer the question reasonably.... ... Go and read the "art of war". You don't fight a war you know you can't win or the one you slightlyhave a winning chance but at the expense of suffering great casualties (One of the laws of power). If U.S could bully Russia, do you not think they will have gone all out on Putin and Russia by now? U.S may defeat Russia in a war but not without a catastrophic ramifications. Hence, they are doing their best at all cost to not to go to war with Russia. Go and read Robert Greene's books... you will understand that you should only fight your enemy at a better time, a time when you are sure you can achieve pyrrhic victory, and crush them completely. Does this seem like a better time for Ukraine? obviously not. They were just a pawn in the mix. U already said I don't know the origin of the war, how presumptuous could that sound. Have a nice day little one.. |

obanioluorun: so they should just surrender to their enemies, those that will not recognize them as Nation but determined to make the slaves for ever. I get Ur point... Russia asked them to be neutral....i.e they shouldn't be subservient to either of the two powerhouse (Russia and the west). They chose the west and how did it panned out...The people are dieing in drones, properties destroyed, people becoming displaced and completely homeless, the city they've spent all their existence building is now in rubbles and what the west can do is to speak English language. So, tell me....how beneficial has this this war been to them? Well, it made people know that Ukrainians are brave and we should respect and sympathize with them but to what end? Why fight a battle you can't win? Why depend on other people (NATO) for your own happiness and freedom....? Did they come through for you when you needed them most? How did it panned out? I'm am neither pro-Russia nor pro-Nato. I'm just being analytical.... |

ugonology: This is what you get when you try to run a country like a poultry farm, Where government provides subsidies on everything from petrol, education, agriculture to power generation and distribution to health care.
Subsidy is the reason why ASUU will always go on strike (students can't be paying 80$ per section and you expect government to handle the rest) socialist government structures like subsidies will always spell doom for any growing economy, look at Syria and Venezuela. 90% of Nigeria's problem is tied to the senseless spendings on 'hypocritical' subsidies that eventually get looted by the high and mighty. Until we tell ourselves the truth, we will continue to suffer needlessly. Nonsense |

Oyiboman69: surrender and die ,fight and die... a wise man knows his choice. In that case, He shouldn't have followed the path of war from the outset... What does Ukraine has to gain anyway. Praises from the rest of the world and a 5bn dollar lifeline support... The life a human, I mean just one person might be worth more than 5bn dollars. Tallesty1: Is this ghosting thing same as locking out? Like, when your partner is angry with you s/he will start acting like you ain't there and be giving you one word answer?
Someone use that thing on me eeh! Very lovely somebody fah but once she's angry, she will lock me out. I told her how I hated that, nah then she come weaponize am. Every small thing she go lock out for days
Me that adapts easily. It happened one time and I asked her what the problem was and the usual response came "NOTHING"
Haba, person wey I don explain give say if I offend her make she kuku tell me and I go apologize but nah, she won't.
Omoh nah so me sef lock her out.
First day, second day, 3rd and she got tired but I was just starting. I locked her out for one month and three weeks.
Our conversation that period was useless.
Hi, good morning, how are you? How was your night, alright just called to know how you're doing.
Same for afternoon and night.
When things got back to normal, she started sniffing around to know if I was seeing someone else. Kept telling me that I am wicked and heartless.
That was the last time she locked me out until the relationship got to where it was destined to stop. "Destined to stop" as how, did it ended in marriage? |

I didn't say it's always has to be about discipline. Discipline undoubtedly contribute a lot to it...u r right in terms of genetics as u mentioned. I see a new Russia, a democratic nation in mutual relationship with West to establish a new world order. Loewe: So what's the bottom line now? That since the US allegedly invaded some countries, Russia should be allowed to run down Ukraine?
His sentiments reveal the conclusion of his line of thought. No... He's talking about the bias of the media.... completely bias... Putin has his fault and shud be sanctioned accordingly but the West has far more faults and have never been sanctioned for all their attrocities... Take for instance, Libya was having a very good economy and were enjoying peace before the west came and destroyed everything. Eversince, the beautiful serene Libya has never been the same again, it's war after war eversince the invasion by America. Same goes for Afghanistan and many others. Look at Nigeria, we were living on our own peacefully with our crude technology but very organized leadership style before the west came, and enslave us in the name of colonization, then gave us independence in a very wrong fashion....what has happened to us since then, tribe that do not like themselves. Our petroleum then became a curse, and so on etc.... My hand don dey ache me jaare |
