I didn't study in those countries you mentioned, I studied in Norway ,I start hustling for job few months to my graduation, I was lucky to land a job in a company there,I was working there and on my holidays back home,I was approached by a multi national through referral from a friend in one of my jobs before travelling. They offered an interesting package and that is how I ended up coming back home. Thanks for opening this thread,it was a really hard decision to make for me. In the end I am happy to be back home.

Service your car once a year. This could include changing the oil and filter. Rarely the transmission fluid. Don't fall for service every 3months gang.

Using coolant fluid in your radiator instead of water is way to go to avoid overheating. Watch YouTube videos about your vehicle.

I'd rather squat in a hostel and earn 300k than live in a 3 bedroom with #120k. A lion in the jungle or a dog in the city. It everyone's choice.

You will still spend the millions saved on accomodation, then spend the rest on expensive utilities.
The bottonline is at the end of the day, u are still having almost same amount as the Nasarawa counterparts.
So, why squatting/suffering in the first place.
I grew and worked in Lagos for a long time.
It's not worth the stress.

The real truth is, the UK is designed such in a way that if you are not earning up to 20k to 30k pounds annually, and how on earth will a student ever make that kind of money--well unless you do your Yahoo! wella but FYI, FBI now works with Scotland Yard, or else you will suffer like there is no tomorrow. I dont mean you will suffer like you are in Nigeria, over here no one will feed you, you will starve, and forget all those benefits they are shouting about, its not for you, its for their own citizens, so to be truthful, if you are not careful, you will just be another guy abroad suffering more than even the people living in your own African village. On monthly basis, for a single person you will need as little as 1,500 GBP to take care of housing, food, utilities and others. 1,500 GPB is the least, I mean, we are talking extreme austerity survival here where you are barely surviving and may die of heart attack if you lost 1 pound of your monthly expenses! Don't even think of anyone giving you 1 pound to support you, na you and harsh reality. I spent over 1 year in 2018 there, I was there again last year, inflation is killing the immigrants who had fled there.
There are more people now, lesser housing, less jobs --- meaning lesser wages and higher cost of living. There are far better countries than the UK: Turkey, France, Sweden, Spain, even Norway or giving visas with far greater benefits. See that UK was built by Ijebu people, they designed it to give you only oxygen, while stripping every other benefits away from you. Forget living in Manchester or Leeds, with the insane inflow of refugees from Syria, Algeria, Ukraine and others, cost of living has gone over the roof. Plan well before you japa. I am happily here in Naija, hustling and doing, I am going to be going on vacation to any of these countries by God's grace -- I am tired of seeing on blacks doing cleaners, on farms, doing security guards, and the ones you see in every European downtown begging you for 5 euros because they are dying of hunger. USA and UK are suffering from this "norm" that woman is talking about. As black people, we know our own way of taking up trends is so different. We do too much. As if paternity fraud is not enough cancer in our cells, they want to add divorce to it. Our system cannot cater for the resonance effect of divorce and broken homes. Who will wife after one or after two as a bachelor? The effect will resonate on the society for so long in a very bad way. This will be at the detriment of women and children. Which means we are going to use our hands to create new generation of unhappy children and lonely women. If you have that mindset even before marriage, I will advise such a woman to get used to buying dogs, because they might die alone. Woke generation nonsense in the part of the World will just further plunge the society into depression and further misery. In this part of the world; no child support system, no split in half after divorce, and no special treatment from the government after divorce. All you will get is to die alone unhappy. I'm not saying people should die in marriage. But marriage is not about your feelings (or mood swings nonsense), it is about being an adult and putting in efforts to fix situations that can be fixed. I foresee community of deadbeat parents and baby mamas.
