Barcanista or wot do u call urself...... You have come again with ur worthless rants abt koro.... I pity you.... You have put in a lot of efforts..... Unfortunately, your product is not marketable |
akpomeme: So you are the cry baby based on your assertions abi? Who is that person that will beat Gej in 2015. Waiting for you to come in bro. Please be corrected that I am not part of this government just taking you all on your silly postures in the name of criticism.Gbam... I know that is where your blind hatred stems from...2015. Once again, it is a regret to have you on planet earth. You should have been used for an experiment in a cadaver laboratory. For how long do u want to manipulate the truth all because of peanuts that u receive? Don't u want a better nigeria for your unborn kids? Don't you envisage a better future for yourself as a youth? That means you are contented with the present situation of the country. So you want gej to be reelected in2015? A govt that doesn't values your future as a youth. Universities and polytechnics are on strike yet your fisherman president sees nothing wrong in that. Even the international community has come to criticize the manner by which gej is governing this country. That is why the sw seems to be ahead of other regions. We don't allow sentiment to blind our reasoning. We don't always believe in our son must be there If our son is not doing it well, we replace him with a better candidate not minding his/her tribe. You want gej to continue despite identifying the fact that things are getting worse under him? Continue like that. That is how your village will develop. Now I believe that the greatest obstruction to the development of nigeria are the citizens. |

akpomeme: Bottom line is that most people in power in Nigeria are cultists. Soyinka should be recognized for this... The rascality you see today in the society are derived from false sense of ego driven by the principles institutionalized by Wole Soyinka.I understand your plight. Infact I pity your condition. You even suffer from incoherence of thoughts. It is a regret to have you and your kind here on nl. Anyway, engaging you in debates is a waste of time. If living as a south southerners has become a buden to you, You are always free to port to the southwest. That's what your kinsmen do. We all them all over here doing all the dirty works for us. Sorry for condition |
Who is this jobless OP? I can figure out he's bittered that South westerners have taken up their resources. But is it our faults? You don't have to denigrade the erudite WS b4 your grievances can be heard. You can jump into the nearest lagoon to meet baba God and air your opinions to him. |

I don't know why some people want to develop unnecessary hypertension over tinubu. Tinubu is not a billionaire of yesterday. He became a senator as far back as the 1990's. He worked as an accountant in Mobil corporation for several years where he became an executive and spent numerous years in the usa beforee returning back into the country. He was also d governor of lagos state for 8 good years. Tinubu is not in the category of small billionaires in nigeria. He is an already made-man far before he became governor of lagos state. He was one of the major financiers of NADECO during the regime of abacha. By now if he is not a mega billionaire, then he should be scolded. It will be better if you find facts about tinubu next time before you post baseless comments. This might be of help for you: en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bola_Tinubu |
django1: Lautech is a rotten school producing rotten yahoo boys students. You are a fool for uttering that statement. To hell with your mouth. |
He apologized because he knows he is @ fault. At least he wasn't claiming to be right when reverse is d Case like our brother jonah jang. Good one from him.... Yorubas always know when to stand down from an argument unlike our Igbo brothers who find it difficult to read the writings on the wall and would later blame another man for their woes |
Rip to d dead...... If fashola says he wants to demolish dilapidated structures, our people will cry foul and say his regime favors only the elite. Now, the result has come. Once again, rip to the dead |
Good one from guardian newspaper. Threading the path of honor |
@OP, You are jobless. Jst 3days power supply, you are opening a thread. We have 1 week of constant uninterrupted power supply here in my area. |
Fresh breath indeed....................................... |
surveycash2:Thanks for the info.... Is it free or an amount will be deducted? |
The other time, GEJ missed his speech @ the UA summit. Then, His aides covered for him and fail to identify with the facts that it was incompetency on his own part. Now He has been further downgraded in far away china. GEJ is a trainee president. |
God bless TBJ |
noblezone: In other words, you will support Jonathan going to the National assembly to fight for his "loyalists in the assembly are about to be suspended"?Forget all the rubbish u posted... "If the foundation is faulty, what could the righteous do" So in your own view, it is right and constitutional for 5 assembly members to impeach the speaker all because they have the backing from the presidency? Hippocrisy @ its peak.... If amaechi hadn't intervened, people like you will be commending the actions of those anti-amaechi lawmakers despite the fact that what they did was wrong. "He who calls for equity must do so with clean hands" In this case, everyone is wrong |
I made 'successful' mistakes as President --Obasanjo 2013-07-09 23:13:48 Former President Olusegun Obasanjo on Tuesday declared that he made "successful" mistakes as Military Head of State and civilian president. Obasanjo, who ruled the country between 1976 and 1979 as a military head and between 1999 and 2007 as a civilian President, however, took responsibility for all his actions. He spoke in Ibadan, Oyo State during the 50th anniversary lecture to commemorate the call to the Bar of Chief Afe Babalola (SAN). A civil war veteran and former Chief of Staff of the 3rd Marine Commando Division, Nigeria Army, Gen. Alabi Isama (retd), had recently accused Obasanjo of committing numerous blunders during his reign in government. Obasanjo said, "One mistake I made that turned out to be successful was when I was looking for somebody to give leadership of the University of Lagos to and I chose Babalola. Some people said I made a mistake but it turned out to be a successful mistake. "My mistakes as people say were mostly in appointments. I appointed the UNILAG Pro-Chancellor and Vice-Chancellor and the university became the best. The Vice-Chancellor and Pro-Chancellor that I appointed were acknowledged as the best at the time. "The mother of all the mistakes was that the exposure and involvement of Babalola in the affairs of UNILAG led to the establishment of the Afe Babalola University in Ado-Ekiti. "If you have not seen 'instant wonder', go to ABUAD. Babalola used his experience as the Pro-Chancellor of UNILAG to build what today is the best and fast growing private university in the country." Obasanjo, who inaugurated the extension of Babalola's Emmanuel Chambers on the occasion, said, "There are many Nigerians, but, there are not many good Nigerians of Babalola's sterling qualities." Solicitor-General of the Federation, Ahmed Abdulahi, who represented President Goodluck Jonathan, described Babalola as a product of courage, perseverance, determination and humility. The Guest Speaker, retired Justice Emmanuel Ayoola, while delivering a lecture entitled, 'The future of Law in Nigeria', stressed the need to improve legal education in the country. He said, "Our legal education should be re-invigorated and made more robust. For instance, we should begin to encourage inclusion of Comparative Law in every aspect of our legal education. "We can only neglect the history of the principles of the common law at a disadvantage. Our law faculties should be fully equipped with the access to jurisprudence and decisions of other jurisdiction to protect our laws. "We delude ourselves in this country if we believe that, we can be a great nation without a great legal system. The path to the greatness of our nation is through a reliable, efficient, trustworthy and value-driven legal system." Former Pro-Chancellor, University of Ibadan, Chief Wole Olanipekun, (SAN) described Babalola as a reformer, revolutionary and educationist who contributed to national and legal development. Governors Abiola Ajimobi (Oyo); Kayode Fayemi (Ekiti); Olusegun Mimiko (Ondo) and a former Ekiti State Governor Segun Oni among other eminent personalities attended the ceremony. http://mobile.punchng.com/output.php?link=http://www.punchng.com/news/i-made-successful-mistakes-as-president-obasanjo/ |

I repeat again...ur life is so pathetic. So what concerns us with u staying awake cos of affairs affecting the nation. Its your life, so what else if you waste it. Instead of you to listen to correction, you are giving excuses. |
What a terrible scenario it would be then.... I read the whole story few years back...really admire "afrika" Rip to the dead |
surveycash:What is a token device? How can I get a token device? I experienced the same problem with my gtb mastercard. Kindly help out |
Useless Op If you are the governor of a state....just open your eyes and do nothing while your loyalists in the assembly are about to be suspended. Don't worry, people will commend you. Mumu In nigeria, it is "each man for himself" Amaechi did d best thing |
Laudate II: Haba! Oga, forget Festac oh! The residents need to do special deliverance session for PHCN in that area, so that they can improve their performance.Lmao.... So how did u handle the arbitrary bill issue? Did u end up paying the bill? |
I donate my family on behalf of 20 million naira |
Kayman4life: Enugu that use to hav at least 20 hours of power before are now managing about 6 hours power everyday. Power supply has drastically declined in Enugu recently and every month bill must come. May God help us in this country. The unstability may be due to the present rainy season that we are now. With time, the stability will return |
Kudos to ogbeni of our time. Gradually, osun is climbing the ladder of development. It is only a matter of time Osun a dara |
aikeron: Osun people ar ϩо retarted Ãήϑ bleeped. Every little thing seems like a big deal to them. Dirty town like osogbo is havin a dual carriage way constructed n ur laid back daft mind is here hyping that piece of shit. Y'all need to travel out of ur state n see better developments happening in oda places. Why do u make wut u rightly deserve under democracy look like a favour or grace to u? Ur Gov is tactically waiting for 2014 elections whiℓe foolin ur low minds. Bleep Opon imo, Bleep O'YES, Bleep the tiny roads that's takin soo long to complete. Bleep everyone overhyping a smartass governor ruling over assholes in a grossly underdeveloped timid state. I'm just an angry dude hu doesnt like sycophants gettin excited over nothing. Peace!!!You are a fool for that comments you made...osun was created in 1991 so don't compare level of development with states with longer existence 8 years of prince oyinlola, the former governor was a huge waste of time as there were no meaningful development. Aregbesola came less than 3 years back and he has recorded landmark achievements with the meagre allocation osun is entitled to. You call osogbo a dirty town, that is ignorance of the highest order on your own part. Osogbo is not only clean, BUT only afew places in nigeria can boast of having stable electricity like osogbo. I challenge you to name your state and am sure your state governor could not surpass the acheivements of aregbesola within the same time frame. |

It is certain that by the this year's end when most power projects have been completed, significant improvement will be experienced in the supply of power. Also, since we are in rainy season, that still affects power availability as most dams have been over flooded. Heavy rains also inflict serious damage on power machineries like electric poles, transformers etc. But by and large, we are optimistic despite the present condition. |
