Mock God all you want, misconstrue His patience and love for weakness if you wish. Those that seek God in truth and in spirit know Him intimately, they are not swayed by snide remarks or academic debates about God because they have lived it...they are living testimonies of God's power and love. I have no anger towards those who are in conflict about the existence of God, after all, God has given us all the freedom to choose or reject His gift of salvation. I only implore such people to directly seek God out for themselves if they truly desire the truth. It's very simple; HUMBLY and HONESTLY approach God in prayer, tell Him that you need to know Him and He should please reveal Himself to you in His own ways. Desperately seek Him for yourself, and see how God responds to this earnest desire. God will make Himself real to anyone that desires to know Him, anyone who is willing to give up his sins and turn to Christ. No one else can do this for you. God is waiting. |
The office of the president is well aware of the invasion. Osinbade is a mere puppet that's not privy to inside information. |
Pray for peace, prepare for war! Since 1970, no one has really taken a stand against Fulani aggression and colonization of the Nigerian state. It's simply time to fight with all you have. |
bizzibodi:Obj atrocities are countless, we could spend all day here enumerating them. There's no limit to his greed. |
bizzibodi:Oh yeah, the whole Obj Library and Obj foundation were established to put the finishing touches on his 8 years of lootocracy. Anyone that wanted political patronage had to make a substantial donation to the 7 billion Naira Obj Library. The United Kingdom Charity Commission reported that the Obj foundation is notorious for corruption. Specifically, the Obj foundation was heavily involved in money laundering, and the Trustee of the foundation, Anne Welsh, was exposed while trying to launder $4.9 million through the foundation. Let's not forget the Siemens bribery scandal. The kleptomaniac once withdrew 2.1 billion Naira from the excess crude oil funds and didn't tell the national assembly until it was discovered about 3 months later...then he claimed he wanted to use the money to supplement the cost of the extension of the national census. Ministry of petroleum and NNPC were his sole possessions. As petroleum minister, Obasanjo did not account for oil sales....it was estimated in a lawsuit that Obasanjo had withdrawn over N1trillion unauthorized by the National Assembly, from the NNPC account and the Federation Account. Hamman Tukur, Chairman Revenue Mobilisation Allocation and Fiscal Commission (RMAFC) reported that the NNPC had withheld a total sum of N560 billion from the Federation Account from December 2004 to April 2007. Obasanjo spent over $1billion between 1999 and 2006 for the rehabilitation of the Port Harcourt and Kaduna refineries with no progress made. Land grabbing menace, using the land use act: -Obasanjo dispossessed the people of Akpa in Badagry, Lagos State, for the building of Bells University. -Same fate befell the people of Lekitaba and Gembu towns on the Mambilla Plateau, when they surrendered their lands to Obasanjo farms. -People of Awela near Ayetoro also lost 500 hectares of land to OBJ over 12 years ago. And in 2002, the former president acquired 250 hectares at Ajoda for teak cultivation. The former Nigerian leader turned the people of Abela, near Abeokuta, against their leaders over land. -In 2001, Obasanjo acquired 10,000 hectares from the immediate past Governor Donald Duke for oil palm estate. Also, the retired general secured an additional 5,000 hectares at Kwa Plantation and took over the government oil palm nursery in Ochong, all in Cross River state. The people have wailed to no avail. He even went after competitors in the chicken business with such aggression and pettiness you'll think his very life depended on it. Major competitor and one of the biggest farms in Nigeria, Zartech, were inexplicably denied license rights, the managing-director and his brother were arrested and deported. Their goods were seized at the border...all to ensure that Obasanjo farms had control of the market. I'm not even going to touch on the whole privatization exercise Obasanjo used to swindle Nigeria of state-owned assets, and handing them over to his cronies and business associates. Nigeria has seen a lot of greedy leaders, but I don't know if I've seen any that shamelessly embodies greediness, sheer wickedness, and treachery like Obasanjo. Buhari should do the needful. |
Well, well, well, this is poetic justice . Buhari has a plethora of charges with which he can bring the Ota criminal to justice...from the $16 billion dollars squandered on national darkness, the Halliburton bribery scandal, bribing members of the national assembly to legitimize his 3rd term agenda, a host of unsolved high profile political assassinations, Transcorp shares scandal etc. |
Arondizuogu:You're welcome my brother. We all struggle, but don't you ever give up. ALWAYS run back to God. |
Factfinder1:You're welcome. |
Factfinder1:It's truly a fascinating thread. You just have to fall in love with God again and reignite your relationship with Him. What I've come to realize is that so much of our indulgence in sin is a misguided attempt to fill the void left by the absence of God in our lives. We desperately try to fill the emptiness with sex, drugs, alcohol, and all the pleasures of this world, but it's never quite enough. Life still doesn't make any sense and we become prisoners of our indulgence in pursuit of an elusive satisfaction. There's no greater joy, no purer meaning to life than for a man to be at peace in the presence of his Creator! None of the counterfeit pleasures of this life could ever replace the peace that passeth all understanding and the lasting joy of His salvation. So, I invite you to renew your walk with Jesus, spend time with Him and trust Him in all things. The more of Him you have, the less of the world you'll have also. I believe God will restore your gifts accordingly. God bless you! |
“I was physically present at Rivers state Governor’s Lodge when the heat became too much and Obasanjo in the presence of all of us knelt down in front of Atiku begging him to allow him do a second term." -Chief Charles Idahosa, APC chieftain. All Orji Uzor Kalu said about Obasanjo is true. He has always been a shameless, desperate, two-faced, conniving criminal. |
Orji Uzor Kalu has always been about that thug life ![]() He particularly loves to torment Obasanjo like no other. |
There are only a handful of proactive senators in Nigeria, and Enyinnaya Abaribe is certainly one of those few. He's a fearless man that speaks his mind. He did not apologize for his stance, he apologized if any of the words he used was misunderstood. He had made his point and he did not retract it, or apologize for it. |
eyeview:Bros na God dey do am. Lord knows we'd have been extinct long ago if our enemies had their way. |
![]() That is an impressive list of the who is who of looters. If you add Tinubu's booty to these ones, it's enough to clear all of Nigeria's external debt. |
This is true love...onuru ube nwanne ya agbala oso!!! |
Leave it to a doomed country like Nigeria to pamper and protect a full-fledged terrorist organization like Miyetti Allah Kautal Hore. |
Adelaide2:I'm with you bro. It's terrible. |
Your European oppressors told you they were your 'colonial masters', hundreds of years later you still grovel before them by holding unto this subjugating moniker. Why don't you call them by their proper name...WHITE THIEVES. This attitude of servitude must be abandoned for the Black man to make any significant progress. |
Buhari is one of the last of a dying breed, a throwback to the heydays of dictatorship. Many of the great African dictators have sadly departed...Idi Amin, Abacha(we miss you!), Gaddafi, Mobutu, Eyadema, just to mention a few of the greats. ![]() |
Emenalo anticipated the blame game that was coming, calmly resigned and took a job with Monaco. |
dlondonbadboy:Police was always a federal force, they do not answer to the governors. We've seen instances where the FG has withdrawn the police detail of a governor, leaving him with no security. There's really nothing Ortom can do if the police and military refuse to act. |
"Nigeria cannot belong to the OIC because we have not discussed any such matter at the Armed Forced Ruling Council - AFRC". These were the utterances of Commodore Ebitu Ukiwe who was the Chief of General Staff in the IBB regime, as he challenged and defied the decision making process of the regime, and the legitimacy of Nigeria being in the OIC. This proud man from Abiriba in Abia state was not going to compromise his integrity for anyone, he was not going to be intimidated, and would rather live with the consequences of his actions than be a good stooge to the junta. For his audacity, he was immediately retired, replaced with Augustus Aikhomu, and denied most of the retirement benefits befitting of his rank and position. I highly doubt the 'mere-commissioner' can summon the moral fortitude to resist Buhari's excesses, even in a democracy. He's not built like that. |
ashjay001:Seems like you have a strong aversion to facts. What exactly did Fayose do to tackle the issue? He 'banned' the herdsmen last year and asked Ekiti hunters with their antiquated dane guns to protect the land. Despite his so-called ban, he had to intervene this year by calling for a truce when some Tivs resident in Ekiti killed a Fulani herdsman, which goes to show that Fulani herdsmen are still operating in Ekiti. Common sense should compel you to know that some states in the middle belt are at the epicenter of the crises, where the fulani militias have concentrated their efforts. Could Ekiti hunters with their bow and arrows contend with the militarily armed fulani militias that are more or less being backed by the FG, as we've seen in the middle-belt? Besides, as stated earlier, the FG has declared that the security apparatus set up by these states to protect their people are illegal, and have responded aggressively when these people have retaliated against the fulani, even going to the extent of dropping bombs on some of these folks! In essence, rather than challenging the insanity that resides in Aso rock, you're asking the helpless state governors to declare war against the federal might. |
ashjay001:The state governors do not have command over the police and armed forces. This is not a matter of funding. The best they can do is to arm their own militias, which I believe Benue and Taraba did, only for the FG to strongly oppose their efforts. In fact, the last time the people of Taraba took the fight to the fulani aggressors, the Nigerian military swiftly unleashed hell on them in response. I don't see how anyone can pivot away from the obvious complicity of the FG to put blame on the governors. |
The Ebola of owu never fools me. He's a treacherous devil that's looking to extricate himself from all the atrocities he has committed through the ages. Indeed, Nigerians are a gullible bunch. |
So, it was actually the hausa-fulani that went on rampage yesterday... Benue state governor, Samuel Ortom, has announced the imposition of a dusk to dawn curfew following a protest organized by Hausa-Fulani youths in Makurdi, the state capital today January 13th. The Nation reports that some Hausa-Fulani youths at about 9am today, blocked all major streets and staged bloody protests in Makurdi. The youths smashed vehicles, manhandled innocent people and shot others. The residents and business owners hurriedly closed their shops and ran home for fear of unknown. The protests which caught many unaware started simultaneously at 9:30 a.m. in Wadata, Wurukum, Northbank and Angwan – Jukun areas, all in Makurdi town. These areas are mostly populated by Hausa- Fulani people. At Wadata, the Hausa youths barricaded the busy Ankpa quarters junction and smashed over 15 vehicles and injured many passengers until a team of policemen arrived the scene. They carried out their operation up to Madikpo and Dele Bookshop. An attempt to break into Igbo electronic shops and cart away good was met with a stiff resistance from the traders who came together keep watch over their properties. In the wake of the attacks, the state governor announced a dusk to dawn curfew. |
“Since 1960, many attempts have been made to diagnose the trouble with Nigeria. Chief among the usual suspects have been, “tribalism,” corruption, and bad leadership. May I submit that these are symptoms, not the underlying causes; the fevers, not the malaria or typhoid parasites. Our problems are much more serious than corruption & co. They include identity crises of various kinds, a lunatic elite, cultural schizophrenia, Eurotoxification and the fact that Nigeria is not a nation but a noyau—i.e., a society of inward antagonism, one held together by mutual internal antagonism, one which could not carry on if its members had no fellow members to hate. And if we want to end the troubles of the Nigerians, we must dig deeper to find the fundamental causes.” Chinweizu, "Lugardism, UN Imperialism and the Prospect of African Power". February 18, 2006 |
bastien:I'm familiar with Adventists, I'm pretty sure they celebrate birthdays and they don't celebrate any of those Jewish feasts. |
Great work providence338. Jesus is Lord! |
NaijaElba:Uche Secondus is from the South-South. Try another lie. |
