No vex for the mentions, was the $700 for Study Pack/Exam? Trying registering, I noticed a registration fee of $685 fee. Let me know how to structure my budget.

Also, was the study pack in soft or hard copy format?

Thanks

Hey bro. EY career structure is the norm of what you have in the other big 4. They are among the big4 for a reason, and the pay is a little less than 140 (135k or so Net)
If it is a great place to start, Yes it is.
But as compared to others, Deloitte currently do not accept Jobs with Audit fees less than 5Million, No. 1 is "sharking" them, but EY does.
I know someone who is moving from Deloitte now to EY. He has just 2 Years exp. and EY is willing to pay him a bit more.
All in all, it's not all about the "bengees" (well, maybe a bit), satisfaction is key. Wish you the best
Thanks boss. The prospects and the pay is worth the efforts. You're ban.g on about satisfaction being key... You are God-send. Thanks again for the info. Now I can take a decision firmly.

funkystanl:

Just like ednut1 said....its a Big Four for me. personally I don't like banking jobs (for no reason). And like a mentor (CFO of a top insurance firm) told me after school, "never look for job in the industry pursue a Big Four, learn for some years then move to the industry. Ma ba won ise ni industry ooo...awa la ma lo won". means I shouldn't join the league of looking for job in industries cos they {managers and CFOs are the ones using them}.
Except Oil and Gas coys...for me its a Big Four.
I don't know what the pay package or recruitment process for EY looks like, am sure some guys are know. But whatever it is...trust me...it is worth it.
Your Mentor is very correct.
Had no love for banking too. Had to sign their offer letter last year just so I won't sit @ home. I will put in my best and give this a shot. Thanks very much for the prompt response.

big 4 over banking for me if i gt 1, even tho it means a pay cut. go for it . dragnet test nawa o. it is well

Hahahah.
So right abt Futo graduates. Even if na SLT diploma the person studied in Futo, they come out tops in the work place.

But wait oooo, I didn't see eshut.. grin
Despite that most Esut grads are just average, I've seen some very hot guys and babes from there, but they are very few.
ESUT is a way below average University, going by majority of their undergraduates/graduates I've encountered. But they're tops in terms of LAW.

Their Law graduates are amongst the best in the country

Sagamite:

Nonsense!

Historically and to this day, the following universities produced people that get the best jobs, get international recognition and students that progress to the world's leading universities for postgraduate studies:

OAU, UI and Unilag

Those should be the top 3 under any circumstances for now.

ABU produces many people in leading government positions but that is largely due to quota system drivers as many of the Northern people that take up half of the quota roles attended it, as it is the best Northern Uni. So I see it mainly as artificial.

Of recent, Unilorin seems to be producing good quality that is rivalling the previous top 3.

Covenant seems to be another new star recently and the best of the private universities.

ESUT seem to be educating a lot of top management with its local MBA programme.
Sagacious, UNN should displace UNILAG on that top three. Majority of the movers and shakers of this country are alumni of the Citadel sited on the hills of Nsukka.
UNIBEN are not doing bad too.

Still having doubts about gracing this test.

Pls my conrades-in-the-hustle Achmed1 Ednut1 Davide470 Funkystanl Therealadonye, I know y'all are not on this thread but I could use your help. I'm one year on a banking job that chips in 158k per month but for a reasonable pay cut, I'm willing to jump boats to a big 4 based on career prospects plus I'm not cut out for banking. Pls, any idea of EY's pay package? Career prospects? Is it a great place to start or do I wait for PwC next year? (they messed me up this year) sad What're the stages in EY's recruitment process?

Abeg anybody with answer(s) can help too. I'm in a big pickle here

A new day starts @ 12:00AM.
Don't bother arguing... Just change your phone time settings to 11:59PM now and you'll be in Monday in 60 seconds.

Although I have a hunch EY meant Tuesday midnight. Considering the fact that the verbal had a 24 hour time frame. The numerical couldn't have been sent today and applicants expected to round it off in about 12 hours.

But to be safe, write the test before midnight if you can.

This is indeed a sad development. Most of these girls mess up every chance they have due to their vain desires without knowing it. Some of us experienced this at some time in our younger days and constantly an invincible X will cross them and they will wonder why you never called them again.
I advise most youngmen not to be in a hurry to fall over themselves to please a girl, that's what gives rise to all this vanity.
My advice: Be a man,let them know that you can not be swayed or seduced into any decision and they will respect you. You have passed boys' stage and now a working class man,the ace is in your hands now.

I have cause to believe some threads bashing Nigerian girls here on NL are not just mere troll posts, some must have been informed by personal experiences. Most Nigerian girls are too shallow mentally, overtly materialistic and will likely struggle to hold a decent intellectual convo for at least five mins.

After many failed attempts @ having a decent date (mind u not just any date cos I run from those almost daily), I decided to give this lady I met in my office a shot. She was a customer and I helped her through a transaction that had her stranded and we exchanged numbers (that was last week). I asked her for a date today's evening and she agreed.

Her initial fuccckkkk up was insisting I wait @ the gate of shop rite, the meet up place, to pay her fare. LOL, chai. I did o.

We got in. What will u take? Said she's filled up as she has had eba and rice today. I was famished as I skipped lunch in the afternoon so I ordered rice, chicken n coke. She then ordered same with moi moi and Amstel.

I was trying to start up some convo with a few harmless questions and she couldn't keep up. All through the meal, she was all about seeing my phone ( wanted to go through my chats, gallery and sorts but I declined, not cos I have something to hide but because that's stupid and absolutely unnecessary), giving me her phone to snap multiple shots of her.

When we were done and I was already bored as fccccckkk and itching for just any reason to call it a night, she dropped the bomb.... She wants to go to Games and pick up "her toiletries" and I will pay. I just sat there moping @ her and I thought "just another pretty dumbo".

I vehemently refused but offered to accompany her if she will pay for herself. The chickkk pick offense o. See mega sense of entitlement. I just boned her sha come X her for my mind.

We hopped into a cab and she didn't speak to me till she alighted and I left.

SMH. If I mean her now, spend small change on her, nyash her and move on, then all men will become the same.

Make una girls try borrow sense o. OK na

50calibre:

Lol you know these are two different things.. However there are loads of men out there more than willing to drink a woman's vaginal fluids & even her urine.

Cum is meant to go into a woman's body anyway, whereas no one can tell me conclusively what that vaginal fluid is. If there's solid proof that vaginal fluids are beneficial to health, I don't mind taking it. Loads of bodybuildes are already drinking human brea*st milk to enhance their performance.

I'm not hung up on the swallowing thing, I'm cool whichever way as I wouldn't want to be pressured into doing something I don't want to do but I can reason with guys who insist on swallowing, because the ultimate climax of any bj should be the woman swallowing... It's more of a psychological thing.

There are loads of deviant/unconventional sexual behaviours out there, this is just a little thing a woman needs to add to her tool kit if she's to keep her man from going outside to explore.

The United States wants the Nigerian oil supply cut. They feel that the best way to get this done is be aiding an APC victory so that Niger Delta militants can resume attacks.
This is a hilarious albeit pathetic attempt at spinning a conspiracy theory.

Ikengawo:
They're doing this by pressuring Nigeria through attacking the Naira to diminish it's value which they often do to countries that aren't in favor with them,
Nobody is "attacking the naira". The naira is only responding to the effects of the drastic drop in the price of oil, which is Nigeria's major source of forex earning. The naira was worse hit because our foreign reserve which could've helped cushion the adverse effect is depleted.

Ikengawo:
using media devices to attack the credibility of this government,
Attacking the credibility of the government? Mind showing us any Western media report on this current government that is cooked up?

Ikengawo:
refusing to aid us (Ebola, Boko haram), refusing to buy oil from us, and other methods of direct pressure they often us to destabilize uncooperative governments.
Is the US under obligation to help us?

Ikengawo:
why: Because if Nigeria cuts oil supply it will bring up the global price and help prevent the pending recession they are set to suffer.
Utter hogwash!!!!!

Ikengawo:
They want to reduce world supply and this is one of many methods. The other major method is the embargo on Russia to keep Russia supply out of the current market and extended embargoing of Iran for the same reason. Each time they have a different geopolitical 'excuse' based on a recent event, but the pattern is always the same.
More hogwash.

Ikengawo:
The only thing they want from Nigeria is a reduction or end of production, even if it kills or starves us, so that they can keep their own economy buoyant. We're not the only economy under attack right now.
Nigeria is not even in the top 3 largest producers of oil so whats all this fuss about? undecided undecided
