Open your eyes Nigeria! From the article, they said amount is still missing. Where is the money. They should return the money, that's my concern whether Sanusi or the deputies are right or wrong.

This article is a mere speculation, they should come open and misquote Sanusi instead of exchanging brown envelope to a Journo. This is a deliberate attempt to divert our attention as usual.

The ECA money been asked to explain by the Minister has suddenly died down. My question for these pro-PDP on NL. Do you benefit from all your masters loot or you just have fun defending the defenseless?

I like his business articles in Punch Newspaper. Very educating and he does in-depth research and analysis before writing. I believe some of our politicians will just find time to read his articles and pick a thing or two.

What's your take on him?

naijaking1: No, he has been intoxicated by the witches brew, just like Macbeth. And like Macbeth, he will go down.
What ever that has beginning must surely has an end. So, saying he will go down is not in your power. One day, the man must surely come down and we ll all rest.
God will surely decide his successor, not you, not me.

Take a trip back to memory lane. Prior to 1999 Governorship election in Rivers State. Odili(PDP) was an underdog to Chief Ebenezer Isokariaria (APP) in that race. Most people were expecting a landslide from the Kalabari man. The latter campaign was the talk of town then, everyone wanted to associate with him until at the death of time. A propaganda spread that he worships wit OOO and we wouldn't want such man as a Governor. To add pains to injury, two prominent sons of Kalabari played an active role in his lose namely Marshall Harry and his brother Chief Ombo Isokariaria. Although the former later defected to ANPP in 2003. In 2007, I never saw Amaechi winning at Supreme court to outs his cousin Omehia.

From the above, it is imperative to know that in Rivers State, Governors are not imposed by man. They normally come as 'Child of Circumstances'.

Let me also state clearly or refute this myth that Rivers State has always been 100% PDP from the beginning. Fine, Rivers State has been ruled by PDP but, in 1999 PDP didn't win in Rivers State 100%, House of Assembly were divided between PDP and APP. Infact in my LGA, though the chairman was PDP, but majority of the councillors were APP. It was after Odili's unity Government that brought about the one party system we have in this state until what we are witnessing now.

I hate one party system to be frank. I like the politics now in my state. But, I would want both parties to play with caution and rules.

I have been opportune to enter inside, I would tell you that project will not be completed anytime soon especially the Skyscrapers in their 4th floor. But these pictures posted maybe completed next year. Meanwhile, there are other ones already completed inside the estate. Those one story buildings line up. What I like about that estate is the network of roads connecting Nwaja, Nkpogu ans NLNG and Union Bank. Good work from MCC.

I don't know when OBJ became a saint for anyone to draw reference to. That said, the Prof. has spoken. I also want to correct an impression. Not all Igbos are happy with GEJ's Government. On Naija Info (PH), there are these regular callers all Igbos who are very critical of Jonathan's Government. Even my Igbo friends have negative things to say about his Government. One of them actually told me why Igbos support this govt is that, they have never had it so good in terms of political positions since 1966. When I asked the fella on the failure of FG to fulfil their electioneering promise ala 2nd Niger Bridge and Onitsha sea port. He just sigh.

Chief Clark is a sore loser.
He has seen that Kwara State is now 100% APC since no meaningful politician is in PDP. He decides write an open letter about Saraki after all effort to convince Ahmed to dish his god-father failed.
Would Clark be writing this, if Ahmed didn't join APC with Bukola?

His next letter will be to Wamako.

barcanista: Mr Man, with due respect Asari and his exMilitants ilks are on their own, they don't have the authority of the masses.

Ijaw has many kingdoms, an Okrika man will not "heed to any war called by an Otuoke man or a Kalabari man IF Okrika survival is not threatened.
Same with other kingdoms.
The truth is most of the political class and "elder statesmen" are speaking for themselves.
In Ijawland we have Amayanabors for each kingdioms, each kingdoms also have clans and every clan has a Canoe House, the heads of each Canoe houses together with the Amayanabor decide when the people will go to war and the Heads of Canoe houses prosecutes the War. The war MUST be as a result of threat to the existence of the Kingdoms. Politicians and Vagabonds don't take decision for anybody.

Jonathan should concentrate on delivering his promises, he shouldn't let persona non grata like Asari to deceive him.

Once again Neither Patience nor Jonathan nor Asari nor Clark nor Sekibo etc has the power and authority to tell the Ijaw Nation what to do.

God bless Okrika Kingdom
God bless Ijaw Nation
God bless Nigeria
God bless the President
I can't believe I still have an Ijaw brother with this mindset. I just followed you. Please follow me back.

OP you are mischievous. If you are coming from Agip junction. I hope you would have seen other good roads or if you are coming from Mgbouba. I hope you saw Adageorge dualised road. This pix you posted here if you drive them, they are not up to 200m in length. So you should as well have posted other pictures you saw before getting to Agiip.
Knowing this is Nairaland, what is even your intention? You posted an entrance to the company that is still under construction from the other axis. You failed to tell Nairalanders that where you drove from to those spot you took where all dualised and good roads.
Anyway, that road is under construction. From Diobu joining to that end. (Agip Junction)

PoliticsRe: “Niger Bridge May Collapse Sooner Than Envisaged” by kel4soft: 9:12pm On Dec 13, 2013
FreeGlobe: we are talking the great River Niger bridge here not mushroom bridges built by Amaechi.
The Niger Bridge, is it more than 2km? The bridges I stated here comebine is more than 15km in lenghth and most of them lies in swampy areas covering 42km ( Andon-Opobo axis plus sand filling 30km) Including Okrika. Is more than the budget of your Niger Bridge.

Enough said.
PoliticsRe: “Niger Bridge May Collapse Sooner Than Envisaged” by kel4soft: 8:28pm On Dec 13, 2013
Amaechi is underrated to be frank. A man that built 10 bridges with three to go. on the ongoing Ogoni-Andon-Unity Road with 800ms as average of their lengths.

Okrika ring road = 2 bridges
Bolo = 2 bridges
Flyovers = 4 flyovers in Port Harcourt
Ndoni = Steel bridge (600m)
Another completed bridge at Woji-Odili (400m) Road in PH
while the one crossing Akpajo (500m) is still going on.

And at at least a culvert in most dualised roads.

He is really underrated.

Presently, 3 bridges are been constructed by RCC in the ongoing Garrison-TransAmadi-Woji-EastWest Road dualisation.

And they want to remove him.

God forbid.

PoliticsRe: ‘Missing’ N8 trillion: NNPC admits owing Federation Account by kel4soft: 5:47pm On Dec 13, 2013
Sincere 9gerian: The propaganda continues. So NNPC admits owing federation account now vindicates the claim by Sanusi that N8 trillion is missing? A claim that NNPC had SPECIFICALLY responded to? How does this sort of logic add up? This sort of logic can only make sense to those using what is now called Tinubu Sense to analyse these issues.

For those of us using normal human sense, it does not add up. These are ENTIRELY DIFFERENT matters. NNPC can be owing federation N1, N10 billion or N20 billion or whatever but the amount being owed was not stated in the report. There is absolutely no CONNECTION, except they now tell us that NNPC is owing the federation account N8 trillion.
Can we hear from the Minister of Petroleum? Please.

You have become their spokesperson.

Whom are they decieving huh
We are resolute to the fact that we don't want Ala Igbo to be Islamised.
Your point is noted but myopic.

Questions for you.

Are you a Christian? Do you practice as religion or just in NL to show your hate.
I am a Christian but I don't see it as religion IMO. Now, going by our PDP members who according to you are Christian dominated.

Are they really Christians or just in the religion? Do you think they have been living a life such as Daniel or Joseph in the Bible though not Christians as of then (old testament) but where Godly in carrying out their civil duties. Or where they like Jeremiah who though an aide to a Political office holder but, was abe to rebuke his boss which cost him to flee to exile resulting to the Book of Lamentation in the Bible.

So, when I see all these folks come here to claim Christian this, Christian that, I just laugh. Remember the Bible says, our Govt is not of this world. But we must respect our leaders irrespective of religion or tribe.

IMO, none of our Politician (Christians) leaders (I can't speak for the muslims because am not one) have live a life that is worth emulating. Most of them are secret cult members and ritualist. Since they bear Christian or English names, we call them Christians.

To hell with deceit! The best we owe ourselves as Christians not in a religion sense is to understand who we are and stop carrying religion so as to cajole people here.

PoliticsRe: PDP Asks Court To Remove Defecting Governors by kel4soft:
thenationonlineng.net/new/pdp-moves-defecting-governors/

The Punch didn't report that PDP is seeking the court to direct the respective state house of assembly to commence impeachment since the court doesn't have the power to declare their seats vacant. The Nation reported it very well.

Now, among the 5 Governors, the most likely target is Rivers State Governor. Now, an order for the immediate impeachment of the Governors and he should hand over to any PDP political officer holder.

Some weeks back, some dudes were ranting and celebrating the defection of the five Governors that they were insignificant and unpopular in their states. Now, why the desperation to waste tax payers money on a case that there is a precedent as set by OBJ vs Atiku.

In Rivers, Port Harcourt City Local Government have officially defected to APC. The chairman of PHALGA Akarolo and Former House of Rep member and PDP member Igo Aguma led the Local Government and two House of Assembly members with their supporters to APC thus making it 12 LGAs that has officially decamped to APC so far.

They keep making noise PDP will not be accepted in Rivers, bla bla bla. Is eating in.

PoliticsRe: Lawmakers Teargassed At Rivers State House Of Assembly. by kel4soft(op):
stebell: point of correction it is not yet a war zone.

All i see are greedy politicians fighting over positions and money.
I jus wished they were fighting over which projects to do and which not to do

As i write, honestly PH is in shambles.

I hear peeps saying Amaechi did this, he did that. To be honest those projects were done in his first tenure.
This second tenure is nothing to write home about.
You are a liar! if you say he hasn't done anything in his second tenure. You need to know, his second tenure is just half way. Infact he has done more in this tenure than the first.

Most of the roads he is reconstructing and constructing including the ones in Greater Port harcourt in this second tenure are more than the constructed in the second tenure.

Those roads in his first tenure can't be more than the ones currently going on and some completed like the dualisation of Eliozu, Nkpogu, Okro Abuloma, all roads in D/Lines roads with walk ways and street lights both at Old GRA. Now what of the on going Rumukrushi-Eneka road, Diobu-Eagle Island road with a bridge. Iwofe dualisation, Ogbogoro, Elipranwo and so many I can't start naming.

Maybe you are blind to see the dualisation of Garrsion-TransAmadi-Woji-Eastwest road going on by RCC. When last did you pass YKC junction or Slaughter? Stop peddling lies. Even the construction of those Secondary Schools look alike University in every LGA's have been completed more in this second tenure (only 1 completed in 1st tenure and 4 second tenure).

The Ogoni-Andoni-Opobo with Unity road with 13 bridges is faster in this second tenure than the first with 10 bridges already completed not ordinary bridge. Bridges along creeks, swamps and sum seas like the Oyorokoto axis.

If Port Harcourt is in shambles, is it Amaechi's fault. When he was in charge of security under Yaradua and early part of GEJ. Where we not living in peace? So if they must remove Amaechi. Why through illegality as supported by you and your cronies? If you don't like Amaechi, is your choice but don't come here to paint a picture that he is hated by people in our state.

You should be ashame of yourself for supporting blindly. Now, Wike you are supporting is busy fighting and disrupting his state without bringing any FG present in our state. Our Minister of Works a PDP member is competing with Edo State Govt on road construction. You see the difference?

You should be more concern or when east-west will be completed and ask your people which FG project is in the state.

Infact, I would want more of Amaechi in my state.
That is my take!

Let's see who owns Rivers without Police intimidation.

stebell: @ OP, let me help yu.
Information reaching me said the pro Amaechi lawmakers had gone to de HOA to commence sitting. But on getting there, they met heavily armed police personnel who refused them entry. Also, there were some youths in their numbers who were also there but my source didnt say which side they are on.

The pro Amaechi lawmakers proceeded by getting sits for themselves and sat on the moscow road to hold there meeeting/sitting. The police citing them and to forestall further tension released some canisters of teargas to disperse the lawmakers and de crowd.

As i write frm de comfort of my home with a cup of pop corn and a bottle of coke, my sources on the ground said for now there is relative peace as both the lawmakers and de crowd have left the area.

If yu are in PH and driving, pls avoid Moscow road as both the judiciary end and de civic ccentre end hv been blocked.

Pls note the 5 or 6 Anti Amaechi lawmakers were not available there at the moscow road as at the tym of filing this report

More details coming your way as things unfold.
Men am scared to know what will happen further. I will just pass through old GRA, then Ogbunabali then back to my house at Woji. Am done with work today.
