Tell King Jaja of Opobo that the kingdom he built has been hijacked by politicians. The present Amayanabo doesn't want to be apolitical. |
Least I forgot, tell Boro that Ankio Briggs is now a politician, she know longer speaks the truth that made her. She has derailed from what she learnt from you. |
Also tell Isaac Boro that our leaders here in the south-south are more interested in looting as against the protection of our environment in once fought for. |
It was to tell PGEJ that they have officially left PDP www.punchng.com/news/pdp-crisis-jonathan-governors-meeting-end-in-stalemate/ |
Ozonna: I don't see GEJ sacrificing Tukur for them. Whether its a good idea or bad one, I dunno. I aint a strategist. Except, Akpabios, aninihs, suswans, etc (his core loyalists)advises him to do soAkpabio is not good politician. National politics is different from home politics were he kills his opponents. |
donphilopus: Abdufattah of Kwara state has also decamped! The two governors just met with GEJ, for meeting sake! Let's see how everything will go.Sokoto State Governor said, him and his Kano state counterpart were in the meeting to officially tell GEJ they have decamped to APC. www.punchng.com/news/pdp-crisis-jonathan-governors-meeting-end-in-stalemate/ |
Sincere 9gerian: My friend, dont you have a governor? Is it the constitutional responsibility of the president to provide you with portable drinking water? Is your governor not receiving monthly allocations? Is your governor not receiving 13% derivation to cushion the effect of oil exploration on people like you?Are you aware reducing or curbing oil pollution is an exclusive one? The FG controls that, states can't. You also asked one important question about the 13% derivation given to state Governors. I would also want to know how our 52% oil derivation given to FG are been used. |
OP This your article has been recycled by most GEJ sympathizers. See we have grown past these your sentiments. We have grown past resurfacing of FG roads We have grown past repainting of airports We have grown past revamping of Locomotive trains from Lagos-Kano while Port Harcourt line is still dormant causing nuisance to the city. We have grown past this kindergarten government. We need leaders with visions that can transform the nation in no distance time cos we have the resources but lack that political will from our leader Mr. President. Tell me why on earth billions stolen daily can't be accounted for? Tell me why Yaradua's amnesty programme that include building of institutions in Niger Delta has been ignored while enrichment of ex-millitants is prefared Tell me why we can't have NDDC run bridges or light rail connecting all Niger Delta states. Tell me why policies to curb oil pollution in our creeks are still frustrated in the NASS because our President doesn't have allies to do that. Tell me why, Poverty and insecurity reigns in Niger Delta creeks. Did APC also hijack the delay in implementation of Ogoni UNEP report? To show you, this is mere wickedness. We need a leader that will take responsibility for any wrong that happens to this country because he swore an oath to protect lives and property and is even an impeachable offence if that leader fails to abide by that oath. For the Igbos that will slay me cos of my post or call me traitor, is your business. I have said how I feel about this government. You have never come to my creek, you don't know getting portable water because of our terrain and polluted water thus we are left with brackish water and we have to patronised satchet water daily. The source of livelihood of my people has been short changed. Things are getting worse with daily pollution. Environmentalist are arrested for daring to speak up. We have no one to speak for us cos they have all compromise. We have a President, he is not from the creek maybe, he is from Otuoke, Ogbia. Police, Army, I don't care. Come 2015. My one vote must count! |
OP Am an Opobian close neighbour of Bonny. I will comfortable tell you those people that sign that MOU for them before NLNG came in are wise and selfless. An average Bonny man is comfortable, and they don't give problems unlike other communities. Constant power supply by NLNG and Shell. A child of 15years born and bred there doesn't know what is power failure. |
Gamji007: If APC gets majority seat in the house of rep and senate, will Mark and Tambuwal step down as Senate president and speaker respectively? No! Cos Tambuwai is an APC member in disguise while Mark will still remain as Senate President owing to the numerical strength of PDP in the senate even after the defectors. |
Taiwo20: What's offer 7 aboutHe was born 7th December. So we just call it 'Offer 7' |
gratieao: Sincere 9gerian have you price dollar of late? I bought @ 172 rate today. A high time we drop all this sentiments and discuss issue bothering this countryIs unfortunate in this 21st century where the world holds their leaders accountable for their deeds. Ours are the opposite, @172 we still borrow money from our ECA. How come 400,000 barrel of crude are stolen constantly. Is also unfortunate that folks who don't benefit directly or indirectly from the govt come here daily to defend this corrupt administration. Can we continue like this? So tired of everything sef. |
Pastor, you have been a blessing to my life. I love you.
|
atlwireles: Visit the big heart state and see for yourself. I give a lots of praise to Akwa-ibom for their great heights in infrastructures. Delta state was asleep between 2007-2011. Still, we have some of best schools in the south south, some of best rural towns in the southsouth, some of the best creek communities in the southsouth. Yes, Warri and Asaba still have ways to go. But after Portharcourt in the southsouth Warri is number two. In terms development, economy opportunities, healthcare and education.True. But Warri na d architect of their own problem. Chase all the company out with their I no gree altitude. |
Omexonomy: What can we see in lagos and river state ? Media hype and using the money to construct road and brigdes and forcing people to pay expensive toll.Have you seen Rivers State Government schools? |
But Rivers State University of Science and Technology didn't join the strike. |
HE. Rt. Hon. Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi Anyway 2nd to comment.
|
The North has achieved the following for us: PH refinery Eleme Petrochemical NLNG Port Harcourt and Lagos sea ports Atiku has taken over Onne with his Intels when he Was vice-President. Danjuma has company in the south Dangote does The above were achieved while the North were ruling. What about our kinsmen in the south OBJ reck NPA Port Harcourt GEJ is struggling with Onitsha Port and second Niger Bridge. Struggling with the 2nd phase of NLNG at Brass he denied PHC. So who is now our problem? The North or the south?. Stop the blame game and tell GEJ our brother to speed up development in our region instead of looking for scape goat everytime. |
Still better than any Governor you ever had |
I heard the news on 92.3 Radio Info here in Port Harcourt. This goes to show you the type of opposition you have in Rivers State. The Governor ask the minister to award the water project to any company of her choice. Not to give him the money. They (PDP Rivers) went ahead to criticise the Greater Port Harcourt City Project that is on course calling it an elephant project. Also, Rainbow city sky scrapper estate is also a white elephant project according to them. This bunch of thieves who are heartless. Oh Lord! Let this set of people not rule Rivers in 2015. Send us another Governor even from an unknown party. The present crops of PDP in Rivers are those criminals that were chased out. They are back in full force with no manifesto. |
nairaarea: The FG does not care about Ogoni. I miss Yaradua. He may have remembered us.Yaradua was like a messiah to us in Niger Delta. Until death took him away. Amnesty to our people would have better of the way it is run. |
9jagirl4re: NO wonder that loud mouth Amechi is going to APC he thinks they will help him hide all the stolen lootVery balance view |
PHIPEX: Am trying to imagine what will happen if the FG sacks the lecturers as they threatened. Will the lecturers go to court? If yes, what stopped them from going to court to challenge the FG all these while instead of wasting students' time on strike action? Time is money o !!Because they don't have the authentic signatures of people that sign the previous agreement. That's why they want the AGF to sign now. So they can approach the court if there arises any problem. |
barcanista: No Sir you don't get my pooint. What I'm saying is that its time the Great Ogoni people come to table to discuss with the Ijaws on the way forward. Collectively we shall support our cause. But you guys prefer to do ur things yourselves by toeing the gentleman path. My friend trust me when it comes to Human Right Issue, it takes more that a gentleman approach to get what is your right. That ruggedity is what FORCED Govt to give amnesty to militants and its what is preventing oil companies from messing with the Ijaw people unlike your own case. You and I know that if Ijaws champion your legitimate cause you MUST surely have your way whether by hook or crook. My bad then, maybe I misunderstood you. But, then I asked. Must there be a round table sitting for the Govt to just implement it. Since $2bn has already been deposited by Shell which the President used in creating Hyprep. So, what exactly will they discuss other than to give a directive to the newly establish agency to commence the cleaning process. IMO, I think the delay has to do with some selfish individuals who are more interested on how much the said amount in the bank will yield as the years progresses. |
atlwireles: Why is this Osun man sticking his nose in my businessSo you believe anyone that don't agree with you is from the south-west. I have never been to Osun mind you. Am a core Port Harcourt boy. Born and bred here. Attended Comprehensive at Borikiri and an Alumni of University of Port Harcourt. So you can say whatever you like. That's your business. But, undermining my neighbours the Ogonis. No way! |
barcanista: Mr Man stop saying rubbish. That Refinery is majorly on Okrika land, this issue was one of the cause of the last Okrika-Eleme communal clash. It forced the Govt to rename it "Portharcourt" Refinery and they draw a CLEAR line to serve as a demarcation.I blame Lee Maeba and Jerry Needam for all these nonsense. Cooperate with Ijaws for what? That you are demi-god?. So Bodo people should suffer because they haven't come to pledge allegiance to Madam right? It is well. You may enjoy the power now, but remember, what goes around comes around. You people can go to hell! One day Rivers South East will be liberated from folks like you. |
atlwireles: When was the last time Ogoniland added a barrel of oil to the Nigerian economy. When was the last time, Enugu, Ebonyi, Bauchi, Yobe, Adamawa, Benue, Plateau and non-oil producing states added a barrel to the Nigerian economy. Money spent on securing the North ala State of emergency. (Do they add barrel to our economy?) So you don't care of the implementation of UNEP, all you care is how GEJ will come back 2015. God is watching.. |
Obiagu1: Which one is not open yet?UNIBEN is an APC control State. UNIPORT and NDU are yet to comply Stop all these PDP vs APC with ASUU. Even a University in Osun State directed all there lecturers to resume. ASUU are not politicians! |
OP, You are totally wrong. ASUU from those zones betrayed no one. What you are actually seeing are just the school management obeying the FG directives of schools re-opening through their senates or VC. It doesn't imply ASUUs of those chapters have sold out and botlled in. For example, here in Port Harcourt, a strong GEJ supporter and human right activist Anko Tariah during 92.3 Nigeria Info news this evening lambasted some of the lecturers that have returned to classroom. Calling them infidels and saboteurs to their course. Infact, the chairman of ASUU UNIPORT Prof. Anthonia Okerengwo has advised the students not to come back until FG meets their demands. So what's the betrayal there. Even NDU, GEJ home state Uni are yet to obey the directive. |
And they will wants Ogoni peoples vote. All in the name of our brother. |

Flying his jet up and down to Europe, crying like Obunje child. We know how he is wasting Rivers money, he thinks hes so slick claiming money is missing from oil account, he should go and use that reverse psychology goat crap on those frozen brain APC followers the rest of us see right through this his "Poor Me I'm A Victim" scam.
