PoliticsRe: Nyesom Wike Declares A War As Darkness Eclipses The North by Kelklein(m): 7:59pm On Oct 26, 2024
The North has no real interest in what the politicians chose to do with 2027.. their interest lie in 2031..

The North would always wait..

Na when you tamper with their 2031 wahala go come..
PoliticsRe: Reps Committee Uncovers Over ₦‎32 Billion Revenue Leakage In NUPRC by Kelklein(m): 1:21pm On Oct 26, 2024
This is where it ends.. 'committee uncovers'

The rest of the story would be completed under the table. We won't hear anything again..

Leakages everywhere all over the country, still we have the EFCC, NFIU, ICPC, NSA, etc. who are paid heavy taxpayers money.

If they can block those leakages across thousands of MDAs, there won't be need to be borrowing money up and down. As a government, that should be your only job..

Even customs charge you with Black Market rate.. that NAFEM rate is only on paper and news..

2000 is the target.. and it would pass it and keep going by December
PoliticsRe: Jummah Service: Tinubu Meets Atiku At National Mosque In Abuja by Kelklein(m): 6:12pm On Oct 25, 2024
Politicians are weird..

Those following or happing on Atiku should thread carefully..

They can decide in a giffy how they want the 2027 elections to go..
PoliticsRe: Ministers, Heads Of Agencies Restricted To 3-vehicle Convoy — Tinubu by Kelklein(m):
This is a commendable directive

👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

Those in government or privileged to be in government should see it as a call to service and not a means to oppress or inconveniece the rest of the citizens on the road.. I once saw one Head of Federal Housing Authority who was said to be related to the Presidency or an inlaw, moving with a convoy of over 30 vehicles in Abuja.. just absurd!!

But this shouldn't be like one of those directives that would be implemented for two weeks and jettisoned and nobody knows what's happening afterwards..
PoliticsRe: Shocking news!! CNG has been Increased From ₦200 To ₦450 per liter In Abuja . by Kelklein(m): 3:33pm On Oct 24, 2024
That didn't take long..

I remember when they asked everyone to stop using Kerosene and switch to LPG gas.. they were even dashing cylinders that time.

Now as they saw over 100million households using gas in Nigeria steadily, government found a cashcow.. it's been tax upon tax on Gas..

It's dog eats dog out here in Nigeria.
PoliticsRe: 'Despite Poor Performance, Tinubu May Get Re-elected In 2027' - Rufai Oseni by Kelklein(m): 3:25pm On Oct 24, 2024
With the way Poverty has been weaponised, it's your same poor fellow citizens they would unleash against you. They don't even need to move a muscle. Nigerians are something else 🤔🤔
PoliticsRe: House Of Reps Commences Investigation Into National Grid Instability by Kelklein(m):
Same government people who conspire as a collective to ensure that Nigeria doesn't get up from one place.. are the ones investigating the rot they caused. It's like running around a circle. And hoping to arrive somewhere away from the circle.

Help would come to Nigeria one day - the day these structural mess, that takes nobody nowhere, is dismantled.. and a new pro-masses structure is put in place..

Now it's the government and political people balling in the country and recently the Capitalists. Politics pay more than business now as it stands. That is the country the current elites have built.
PoliticsRe: FG Worsening The Hardship Burden - Punch Editorial by Kelklein(m): 7:18am On Oct 24, 2024
Well done Punch.. for always speaking out for the voiceless..

You could decide to go the ways of the other high and mighty media who collect moneys to look the other way.. but you did otherwise.
Many of your fellow media, especially those affiliated with the government tell everyone everything that is happening is normal.. that the poor should all remain in the dark tunnel and wait for light..

Posterity would remember.

It's been harrowing to say the least.. they rule like they would live forever.. they steal like they have been promised eternity. Such inhumanity in the current crop of ruling class. An elite gang up that ignore the poor and corruptly enrich themselves with reckless abandon. A single legislator makes away callously with Billions of Naira in a Budget year. Governors stealing away their states while millions of the poor go to bed on empty bellies.

It's a terrible structural malaise..

Hope it works.. The predominance of Dollars is what makes America think sometimes that they own the world.

They use it to control the UN and World Bank.
HealthRe: Hippolite Amadi's Dedication To Babies Exploited By Nigerian Hospital Leadership by Kelklein(m): 6:29pm On Oct 23, 2024

You failed to understand that Nigerian government approach diaspora Nigerians with all kinds of investment vehicles every so often. It gave birth to Transcorp Hilton shares, bond purchases, Abuja land allocations to NIDO members, etc that eventually went to naught. When you advise Nigerians abroad to stay away from FG initiatives, they think the advisor is an enemy until the inevitable happens.

/
I get what you mean..

But this looks kind of different. Not an investment offer, more like a direct contract funding according to the report. And now he wants a repayment. I just hope he signed the proper MOU. The report didn't say much about that.. they more of just wanted to make a point that the diaspora man has been duped by the FMC Director.
HealthRe: Hippolite Amadi's Dedication To Babies Exploited By Nigerian Hospital Leadership by Kelklein(m):
We need to be asking the right questions o..

So many things didn't add up in the report above.

If I understand correctly, someone went to take a loan from a foreign bank in dollars to equip a government-owned Hospital in Nigeria.. under an arrangement that he would be paid back..?!.! I'm not very conversant with the procurement laws in Nigeria but is that even legal.. I thought every government expenditure MUST pass through a budgetary process.. Did he do this and expect that it would be inputted in the budget afterwards..?! Where did he expect the payment to come from, the Hospital purse or by the government?! Was there an MOU to this effect before carrying out the equipping?!
From the little I know, every government procurement is done with the money already on ground, and it's usually through an open bidding or Government Tender processes.

Most people that do projects like this usually do it as a donation out of freewill or sponsored by an NGO or Business interest..

Why didn't he do this with a Private Paediatric Hospital in Owerri. I'm sure there are standard Privately owned Paediatric Hospitals in that Place.. or better still liase with one to set up a standard Paediatric Unit in that Private Hospital, where he would be a co-owner with 83million Naira.

There are just so many things not adding up in this case.
PoliticsRe: See Price Of 25 Litre Of Petrol In The Year 1985 (see Here) by Kelklein(m):
But today the highest denomination of our currency (1000) cannot buy a litre of fuel..

If as a leader, you are so drunken with power that you don't see these problems, then you don't deserve that title.. Shame on you.

As a leader of a country, your primary responsibility is to ensure that no citizen go to sleep on empty stomach.. but since this cursed leadership came into power, it's been hunger, agony and pains. It's been tales of woes. Fathers who can no longer meet up the responsibility of catering for their homes, millions losing their Jobs as factories and small businesses die, young people forced to quit their menial jobs because their meagre wage can no longer take them to and from work.

Woe betides you as a leader if you face Nigerians tomorrow and ask them for their forgiveness..
PoliticsRe: PDP Faction Seeks Court Order To Hold NEC Meeting Amid Crisis With Acting Chairm by Kelklein(m): 5:25pm On Oct 22, 2024
We are not ready yet..

When we are, the conversation would begin on the overwhelming roles of the Judiciary (mere civil servants) on our political system in Nigeria.. those that should begin that conversation are too distracted to even bother yet.. But it would start one day when Sanity returns.. cos right now. INSANITY reigns supreme.

EducationRe: 17m For Secondary School , School Fees Abi Na Mistake? by Kelklein(m): 12:40pm On Oct 22, 2024
This is the reason corruption reigns supreme here.. and one Senator would come and lie on National TV to poor Nigerians that his take-home monthly is 14m.. after which they steal or corner hundreds of million in 'Constituency' allowances.

Governors still converting their monthly FAAC with reckless abandon. mind you we are in FAAC week hence the reason Dollar has been dancing Awilo..

Procurement fraud remains unchecked.. esp among top Federal civil servants in various MDAs.

Political and electoral rigging money.. that one na another industry on hin own.

Oil fraud or bunkering money.

It's money from all these people that Charterhouse is looking for.. not the few civil servant earning 30-70k minimum wage or hundred of millions of multidimensionally poor Nigerians.

BusinessRe: Dollar Is Now 1725 by Kelklein(m): 8:54pm On Oct 21, 2024
;Fuel would be 1650 by December as rate hits 2000 to the $.. mark this down.

It is well. The people allowed this madness. Not that they have much options tho. They are already suppressed, oppressed and captured.

A madness that should have been nipped in the bud at the start. Now it is late, but not too late.

The fact everyone including the government must understand is that Dollar in Nigeria is not just a currency, it is a commodity. There are people, very big and influential people whose entire business line is to trade the foreign currency on a daily basis. They would do everything necessary in the background to ensure that there is no stability in that market. The more the instability, the more their profit. Then when you add an irrespónsible and kléptomaniac government fueling that trade with stolen Public Funds, the result is the disaster the country face on a daily basis.

There is no tunnel anywhere not to talk of light at the end.
PoliticsRe: Hardship: Daily Petrol Consumption Crashes By 92% Under Tinubu — NMDPRA by Kelklein(m): 8:12pm On Oct 21, 2024
Summary... Since APC came, they have created not less than 50million more poor people in 9 years.. in addition to the ones they met on ground. 15million of that is between last year and this year.

What a record.

Numbers don't lie.. we are living the reality.
PoliticsRe: Life Before APC Came Into Power by Kelklein(m): 7:47pm On Oct 21, 2024
sadAll Nigerians ever asked for was a Change for a Better deal.. even as at then in 2014, many Nigerians were very poor and couldn't afford the basic necessities even as cheap as they seemed the way we see them now..

Life was hard quite alright then.. but the jobless and non wage employees such as daily paid workers and artisans were protected against severe economic shocks..

It was within the right of the people to collectively yearn for a Better deal.. but what they got was a curse which nobody has recovered from ever since 2015, even whilst the population grows. They said PDP ran the country aground as they liked for 16years.. they too should be allowed to bury the remaining for their own 16 years..

The final burial of the country started in May 2023..

It is sad.
PoliticsRe: How Buhari Reversed Nigeria’s 16- Year Economic Gains, By World Bank by Kelklein(m): 4:17pm On Oct 21, 2024
The biggest lie the people currently in government are telling you is that the whole is suffering so Nigeria has to suffer with them..

It is a lie o.. only poor Nigerians are being suffered by their bad leaders while they continue to feed fat o..

It's a lie they have all rehearsed and been singing since COVID came..

The entire world went through a depression around 08-09.. Nigerians hardly noticed because we had thinking and compassionate leaders then.. but we didn't know..

We entered into this trap because we requested for more deal for the people I'm 2015 which was normal to request, and also for them to stop stealing our commonwealth.. but instead of giving the people more deal, they took the little they had and steal even more today and to cap it all captured the entire State..

Allah yaa 'isa.
PoliticsHas Anyone Sighted The Colorless Dangote Petrol by Kelklein(op): 2:34pm On Oct 21, 2024
At inception of production, Dangote Petrol was touted as colorless and the purest of Petrol there is..

But curiously in Abuja here, all the Petrol I have been seeing in the Nigerian market are still the usual 'colored' or yellowish type we are used to. (The easiest way to see the color of the Petrol in circulation is via the Black Marketers' kegs)..

So, has anyone seen the Colorless Petrol anywhere.. maybe only those in Lagos are getting the colorless Petrol. Pls post a picture if you have seen🤔

CrimeOne-Chance Kidnapping Gangs On Rampage In Abuja by Kelklein(op): 8:39am On Oct 18, 2024
One-Chance Kidnapper groups are currently threatening lives and livelihoods in the Federal Capital Territory.. This post is to serve as a caution to all residents.. and also to all the Security Agencies headquartered in the Federal Capital Territory and An appeal for action (SOS) by the Authorities in the Federal Capital Territory.

Abuja residents are losing their lives and properties to these daredevil groups.

I just lost a cousin to the cold hands of these one-chance gangs last night after they had collected some ransom.

Their modus operandi, they pick an unsuspecting person waiting to board a taxi, then along the Expressway they overpower them into submission. Dispossess them of their valuables and force them to call their relatives to send them ransome which they redeem at ATM and POS points.

They operate 24/7 along the Expressways but more during the evening period between the hours of 7pm and 10pm.

They target more of women than men.

In Abuja, they operate mostly along Kubwa Expressway and Lugbe Airport Expressway outwards the City Centre. More on the Airport Expressway. They subject their victims to various kinds of torture and violations in order to make them submit. Some weak ones lost their lives to these tortures and most of them die as they are heartlessly pushed out of their moving vehicles after being robbed.

They operate mostly in the evening period when people close from work during peak hour when many are stranded on the road. Abuja do not have standard Mass Transit system hence many commuters to the outskirts of the city where majority of the population reside, rely on private cars to reach their destination. Their activities have been heightened lately by the current situation of the country with many commuters left stranded on the roads looking for affordable means to get to their destination.

My Security tips to Residents
..always board a taxi at loading points in the Busstop.

..avoid night commuting if you can. Though this is unavoidable by those that run evening shifts are various workplaces.

..board taxi as a group of 2 or 3 with someone you know.. a colleague or something. Don't be the only one that enter a taxi from a Busstop at night.

..as a female, if a taxi stops and all occupants are all males, don't enter. Some would say even some of the One-chance gangs have females among them. Don't enter, it's better to be safe than sorry.

..if you stop a taxi at late evening and ALL the occupants are staring at their Phones.. run.. na them.

..Be alert at all times and look for signs immediately you board a taxi. If your instinct tells you all is not right. Trust it and go down. Don't be in a taxi and start pressing your phone. It would distract you from being alert.

..On no account should you enter a taxi with tinted glasses, or ALL of the windows winded down at the same time at the point of pickup, they don't want you to see the tints.

A Call On the Security
This is also a wake-up call on the Various Security agencies that abound the FCT, esp the Police, DSS and NIA. Please Kindly carry out covet operations to nip this threat to the lives of Abuja residents in the mud. Anyone or their family members can fall victim to these. This should be declared a State of Emergency. I know the capabilities of the Security Agencies in Abuja and I understand they already know the operandi of these guys

I want to suggest putting a bounty or ransome on their heads for anyone with information that would lead to their capture. They would all be rounded up in days. Searchlight should also be shone on those criminal elements that call themselves 'agberos' that abound around Berger and Banex axis, their modus operandi hijacking innocent people's cars after smoking various kinds of drugs looks alot like those of the One-chance operators.

A Call On the Government.
The lack of a standard Mass Transit system in the FCT has fueled this menace confronting the residents especially those residents that commutes daily to the satellite towns to and fro the City centres to work. It's hightime the much promised CNG Buses are brought in to bridge this gap. The lightrail system recently launched by the government is very inadequate because it clearly passes through where most people cannot access them.

The indefatigable FCT minister, Barrister Nyesom Wike, and the Senator Representing the FCT, Senator Ireti Kingibe... please Save Our Souls 🙏🏽🙏🏽.

Kelklein
A concerned Abuja Resident whose family member just fell a victim. 😔🥲
Abuja people and government need to see this.
