Not just in elections, this is when the Supreme Court should also show itself as a body that stabilises the polity.. Politicians would have a field day stealing this country dry in few months if they judge against the EFCC. So they should jettison all those constitutional technicalities being bandied around by some very senior lawyers.. though the EFCC may be very partial and over-reaching atimes, they are still the only reason some Governors haven't sold their states yet and kept the money in one Swiss account. My suggestion is an amendment of the laws governing their operations by the National Assembly.. to make it difficult to be controlled by one man, the President. But we all know this is Nigeria. All those involved should thread carefully on this EFCC issue... it's like saying INEC should be scrapped because the President decides who they announce as winners of election. |
People taking extreme measures to get by.. It's not wise going to scoop fuel from a fallen tanker.. anything could ignite the fuel especially as people rush helter-skelter to scoop.. It's definitely not worth the risk.. |
Too full of himself.. He dished out what he himself wouldn't have taken when he was Governor.. Even Dangote got up.. it's simple protocol.. The Governor is the Chief Host of that event.. his arrival signalled the beginning of the event. Wike should remember that what goes around comes around.. |
Isn't that what they want, they should clap for themselves.. |
Shebi all of una kept quiet since and think say na only PDP and LP people go suffer am.. It would surely go around.. this is just the Shege Banza about to conclude after we successfully completed Shege stage. Shege Damburuba would start in January, when we leave this harvest season. |
Pochettino:You are being sarcastic right?! 🤔 |
Then only difference is that in Norway, One man won't steal 110bn and put everyone in poverty. It's called Patriotism. Using public money to work for thr good of the country instead of unlawful acquisition. Here we have like over 1000 people in various Authorities that can run away with such amount of money each and nothing would happen.. |
Go Banex |
What this people can't destroy doesn't exist.. The opposition always quick to jump on the failure of the ruling class.. Hello!! all of you all ruling class are crass failures and should all be ashamed of yourselves.. |
Ignore Fayose.. if you had stolen billions of public funds and needs softlanding from the graft agencies controlled solely by the President, you would say the same. |
Oga.. all these economic terminologies work in a place where there are organised economics, the population is known, number of poor and unemployed are known.. Does Nigeria look like that kind of place. The last time this country did census was 2006.. no hope that that census would happen anytime too.. The average man on the street just wants to have something to eat here.. they don't know nothing about COLA.. |
All these barrels, barrels, barrels we hear everyday.. How has it not translated to better life for the common man of this country.. Not just something, so many things don't just add up in this country..🤔🤔🤔🤔 |
Nigerians are hypnotised.. can't you see.. You think say na play play.. |
It's called running round a circle.. Nigerians are still enjoying it. When they have had enough, no be person go tell them. Still nobody in this government has been able to explain in simple English (they don't even bother to) how devaluing your currency would create jobs and then improve the conditions of the people.. because that is the biggest problem the people face that we don't talk about enough.. how has devaluing the Naira from 450 to 1650 created any jobs in the last 17 months. Rather it's been hardships upon hardships.. penury upon penury.. job losses upon job losses.. the IMF people want you to devalue before they borrow you money because that's their only guarantee of a stronger currency than your own.. it's essentially to keep you poorer. And over here, it's a double-edged sword when you add stealing.. Do the Nigerian people really deserve this..🤔 |
Since he appeared to plead guilty before the committee.. he should be given a lenient judgement.. I suggest demoting him to lecturer II from Senior Lecturer and banning him from ever holding an HOD position in the department. This would serve as a deterrent to others.. outright sacking would be too harsh, for the sake family whom he has to feed. |
Enice:Continue playing.. a country where one man would steal over two hundred billion is not a rich country.. making the poor pay for the irrespónsibility of the ruling class is not the way to go.. Where is your sense of empathy and humanity.. think for once about the millions who had lost their jobs since these your messianic draconian policies.. think about the young man who is managing to earn 50k a month and has to transport himself with 40k. Think for once about the millions without even a means of livelihood who are contemplating suicide on a daily basis.. You do not reset a child's head by cutting it off.. there are more humane ways of doing these than this barbarism going on.. If you do not fight corruption and cut down the big government, you are only creating a bigger government purse for people to steal away. These won't change the people's condition. The forex rate would continue to shift upwards and the people would be forced to cough out more local currency to purchase energy, which is priced at international rate. God would spare our lives.. I would call you out to remind you of these later on. Buhari use to have followers like you too.. |
No be Access again.. no point announcing a notice. We your customers are used to it already..ĵ |
Where are the Labour leaders, Opposition Parties' leaders and CSOs in all of these?!🤔 It's no longer news that the NNPC has hiked the pump price of PMS yet again. Petrol currently sells for about N1030 in NNPC stations in Abuja. It's expected to sell for N1200 at the stations of Major marketers such as AA Rano and Co.. and even more at other mushroom stations. Meaning that the product would sell in Abuja at the price of N1030 for those that can bear the long queues at NNPC stations, and more in other stations. The questions that beg for answers are: where are the labour leaders and the Civil Society Groups in the country?! Why have they all left poor Nigerians to suffer these miserable fate in the hands of the government?! Why is nobody speaking out to protect the weak amongst us?! Why has Joe Ajaero and his Cotravellers been quiet since the Police Invitation event?! What deal did he agree with the government to let him off the hook?!.. They negotiated the minimum wage and were offered peanuts when the pump price of PMS was N537 per litre. Now it has since been more than doubled that price.. and their silence has been that of a graveyard.. the commonfolks do not deserve this. I don't even want to get started about the so-called opposition political parties.. the best any of them had done so far is to sit behind their keyboards and tweet away. A real opposition would have rallied Nigerians and set an agenda for a way forward out of these unending hardships, whilst inspiring hope. The Nigerian media (both Print and Digital) must be given some credits as they seem to be the only ones doing their bits to always call the government out, as we have seen with their countless editorials. Now is the time for all those stakeholders mentioned above to wake up from their slumbers and rally the common citizens out of these mess. Because from the look of things, this government is not showing any signs of stopping anytime soon. |
I agree with you.. Nigerians were very empowered in 2015.. (at least so it seems now).. they used that power to ask for change... they got the change!! Things haven't remained the same ever since. Now they don't even have power to ask for anything again. Everyone just wants to survive now.. |
It's the way INEC would seriously be preparing for an 'election', for me. Only to still cahoot with political thugs from the ruling class facilitated by the police to announce a pre-written result.. then tells the victims to go to court. Jettisoning its own guidelines to review because they are clearly carrying out directives of their paymasters. Is it the court that collected billions of Naira to procure BVAS, is it the court that spent billions to train Electoral Officers, is it the court that pretended to be doing an election.. And the way the courts stamp all these malfeasance and shenanigans calls to question our judicial process.. and makes the country a laughing stock among comity of nations with decent rules of law.. |

She even dey smoke blunt on top..🤔 One Police for one country like that for use slap do factory reset for her brain.. |
Padded butt.. mshtewww |
The women shouldn't waste their time.. it would yield nothing. All the naked protests by Nasarawa women when the mandate of the people of that state was stolen in broad-day light didn't yield nothing.. The victims were told to go to court and we all saw what they did with the case.. everyone has since moved on from that malfeasance..life is normal again. That's the 'fair and just' nation they are building.. |
Lanretoye:i agree with you on that one.. |
Lanretoye:so you think hardship cares about what anyone does for a living?!.. do you know how many people do nothing for a living in Nigeria for no fault of theirs.. do you know how many people lose what they do for a living because of irrespónsibility of the ruling class?!.. Where is you all's sense of humanity and empathy for your fellow country people who bear this pang of senseless pronouncements by government?! If you are lucky enough for your palm kernel to be cracked by a benevolent spirit(or a godfather), the least you can do is to be humble and not mock every other of your suffering countrymen as lazy. Just think about these when you are less busy.. |
Scam... Just ignore |
At least nobody is kidnapping them there.. they should better stay there o.. So they should come and stay in hunger and certain death.. |
Those that came after him didn't come to make policies.. they came to steal and destroy.. Buhari came to 'fix the economy, fight insecurity and tackle corruption'. That's not a policy.. He sang the above statement like a song for 8 years.. He didn't accomplish one. Economy went into recession twice under his watch. GDP stayed low throughout his tenure. Bandits and kidnappers joined the Boko Haram to ravage the entire country. Corruption became 'grand' under him. His Humanitarian and Social Welfare programmes were a mess and less impactful. These ones there currently need no explanation.. Our daily lives are enough explanation.
