The government is even pitying us the way I see it.. we are a defeated people.. a suppressed people.. a docile people.. anything they deem fit to apply now would fly and nothing would happen.. I just bought fuel 1300 right now in Abuja.. just a 10litre keg at 13k and I almost wept.. We are on the ground literally.. even if they introduce 3 different levies right now, it would fly and nothing would happen.. They know this so well and they are applying it 💯💢 I drove from Masaka to Abuja City centre yesterday and it took me 4 hours.. a journey that is supposed to be 20-30 minutes.. I just shook my head and told myself the people allowed this.. because they simply refused to ask why?! It's a defeated situation.. nothing 'anyone' can do about it.. let's just live it. 3 Likes |

Just the media attention he wanted.. Every move is planned. Why the EFCC is playing along needs to be explained.. someone in EFCC could even be part of this hatched plan. Nigeria is an impossible place.. A 'wanted' man came to your office .. you did not arrest him but pretended like you didn't see him.. He actually came for a photo-op with his own media cameras so that it would be widely reported that he was there.. a mission he accomplished. You then entered your office to declare him 'wanted' again.. Indeed there are two different countries in this place.. one for the rich and corrupt.. and one for the poor, oppressed and defeated..🤔🤔 Helpless Innocent young people were charged of treason just for carrying placards and protesting to seek for good governance but what could be more treasonable than stealing the commonwealth of the masses and converting public funds for personal use. In this clime, Supreme Court takes orders from politicians.. it's like taking orders from the same accused person you are supposed to sentence.. very disturbing. Same Supreme Court declared a candidate who came 4th in an election, the winner of that election.. taking orders. Now Edo and Ondo election would have alot of prefilled EC8 forms flying around. If only the had thought those who did that in Kogi a lesson instead of rewarding them, it would have served as a deterrent to those making such plans. INEC has abetted so much of these malfeasance, Supreme Court has simply blessed it. The ordinary folks should just look up to God for help. |

..My committee's proposal for VAT is to reduce the rate to zero per cent (0%) for food, health, education, and exemption for rent, transportation, and small businesses. Our data shows that these are the areas where the average person spend almost all their income, meaning their VAT burden will reduce. The upward rate adjustment is on other items to partly offset the reduction in rate and exemption for basic consumptions ensuring that the masses are protected.since May 29 last year, everytime I hold 50k, fuel collects 35k inside. And this has been consistent to this day. You all are approaching this matter from the wrong place.. I thought this committee people are supposed to be smart. Now they want to spoil an otherwise lofty idea.. 🤔🤔 What NNPC cannot spoil does not exist.. This is an NNPC that could not keep its complete stake in Dangote Refineries due to recklessness and lack of foresight.. This is an NNPC that 'dashed' all of their over 500 Retail outlets to a partisan interest. They shouldn't touch anything that has to do with Nigerian Energy Security, ever again. They should do whatever they like with the government refineries in collaboration with the useless government but stay away from Dangote refineries. Dangote has the capability to sell directly to major marketers. The intermediation is not necessary. It's just to suffer Nigerians more by adding their own profits. Nigerians need to speak out. No decisive actions against them hence they run haywire.. I watched the video where they seized the military APC, you could see these are young people between 14 - 25 yrs... All those children that the Northern elite have refused to ensure they go to school, these are the result we are living with today.. and we would live with for a considerable period of time. |
