Trouble in Paradise?! 🤔🤔 So many things to KEEP UP WITH in Nigeria right now Keeping Up With.. 1.. Fubara vs Wike.. the battle of the Godfather.. 2.. EFCC vs Yahaya Bello.. who blinks first 3.. Mohbad's Father Vs Mohbad's wife.. to test or not to test 4.. Coastal Highway of Fraud?! 5.. Dollar vs Naira grandslam or let's say, CBN vs BDCs 6.. DisCos Bandits vs Fulani Bandits 7.. you can add what you are keeping up with.. Omo..Nigerians are trying 🤔 |
Today is the day ManU knows the value of Bruno Fernandez.. put a respect to that name.. dude is the string holding the entire team together.. without him in that team, they dont even qualify to be playing in League 2.. I'm happy Chelsea has overtaken them comfortably tho.. |

omoredia:who is talking about Bank staff.. fx businesses are controlled directly from above management |
Why not start the project from the bushes, and conclude it in the city.. in that way business would still have like 2 or 3 years leeway to continue running.. the economy is already standing on k-leg with government looking for revenues. Why the hurry to destroy revenue-paying businesses at the beginning of a project that would last 5 years.. * a smart government would have prioritised joining Itakpe Rail station with Abuja station and complete Kaduna-Kano standard line.. That way you automatically connect South south to the core of the North.. Do you know how much relief you would have done to the people and the economy?! Moving people and Cargo via the standard guage.. imagine how it would aid movement of refined products from the awaiting refineries to the nothern region.. imagine how much it would save our roads from the heavy trucks.. Even as terrible as the immediate past government was, the first thing they did was quickly complete some about-to-be-completed projects across the country, getting quick wins in the process. This current government has gone on a wild goose chase of their own from day one and nobody understands what's going on..🤔🤔 But this is Nigeria. We allow our selfish and ethnocentric mentality becloud our sense of reasoning and the Nation suffers the consequences.. the APC has typified this alot. Everything is about 'self' for them first. |

My questions about the catacombs.. how did they get the skulls and long bones to be arranged so cleanly... was it after the dead-bodies' flesh have rotten?!.. were the bodies subjected to some kind of chemical treatment that removed the fleshes and allowed the bones to be collected and arranged..?! More clarity is needed as to how these supposed 'genocide' or holocaust or whatever it was, took place..🤔🤔 All I know though is that the heart of man has always been wicked since day1 of creation.. |
Buhari was a clear indication that no one-man is coming to save Nigeria.. our disunity is epic. It won't allow even a leader with good intentions to thrive... Tho Buhari enjoyed alot of goodwill which he didn't really capitalise on either knowingly or unknowingly, which led to the supposed failure of that administration in terms of putting the economy on track.. Nigeria does not need a messiah, though some argue that a good leader would spring the needed change into action but we need to first of all find a way to let Nigerians have a united front.. make everyone understand their role in the national discourse and the need to have all hands on deck.. This system of 'elite versus the rest of us' currently being run would lead to a disastrous end. It's only a matter of time |
If you read 'Fastest' man at first in the topic, gather here 😊😀 |

Most landlords do this when they want to increase the rent.. You people (the tenants) should try and contact him if you can, to have a meeting with him to really know why he's doing this.. If he insists on you leaving.. start looking for another apartment 3 months to the end of your rent expiry.. no biggie You might even be lucky to get an apartment better and more affordable than this one.. I have had a personal experience like this one before.. I took it as a challenge to move to a bigger better place.. I was a bit lucky tho.. |
when they want to be mischievous.. they deliberately leave out the year.. that's probably an 03 Camry 🤔🤔 |
You have a point.. the only problem is that even the Banks are crooked.. they get Dollar allocations too like the BDCs but they hoard instead of transacting with them.. The EFCC is trying to clean up the system of street-trading and we can only implore them to sustain the monentum.. it's going to be hard tho. They deserve some commendation for the little they have done esp in Zone4 Abuja.. that place used to be a free-for-all but there is some level of moderation now.. An analogy is almost like those that trade fuel on the road. It is those who need them and patronise them that are encouraging the trade. If nobody is buying, you won't see them on street.. but then you have to move your car from A to B and the fueling stations have endless queues or no fuel sometimes.. The wayout is to boost your foreign reserve via exports and productivity, and discourage the need for Dollars as much as possible.. Productivity is a double edged sword.. because it makes Items people would pay dollars to import available locally and earns you foreign exchange when you export excess to outside country... the government only pay lip services to banning transactions in dollars in the country. People still pay their wards school fees in dollars.. The political class are still converting their loots into dollars on a daily basis.. the EFCC and NFIU needs to device a means to nip money laundering at source.. but again the Banks have not been helping..! Nigeria is wild.. |
You have got to give it to Chelsea tho... their determination to at least overtake ManU deserves commendation 😀😀😀😀 |
You forgot the year sir.. oh sorry you didn't forget.. it was deliberate.. ![]() It is 2004! |
There may be something the family knows that the guy is not aware of.. he probably might have been carried away by nyash.. Just saying tho.. I think they alll should sit and iron this out.. this public drama is unnecessary Now it's going to be another episodes of 'keeping up with the Cole family'.. |
Impressive 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 One point that needs to be made is that some of these students from Private schools are not new to CBTs.. some schools even organise private practicing class for CBTs.. Aside being brilliant, your Use of Computer skills can also help you to be more focused and organised.. which can translate to higher scores in CBTs., as you are able to properly manage your time compared to someone taking the CBT for the first time on that exam day. |
Itohanmiwa:People that follow his posts know that it's all a cruise.. People create different cruise here on Nairaland just the way it suits them.. I know a guy here who post alot about broke life,, he may not necessarily be broke like that in real life |
Two trends I have observed in present day day Nigeria: 1. Government of the day and every preceeding government do not understand the fact the countries population is growing rapidly hence a need to include the extra mouths in government.. 2. Things that benefit the generality of Nigerians are always difficult to do by the government. e.g the last census exercise was done about 18 years ago.. less important things esp those that involve stéaling of public funds are done faster.. The current realities in the country right now demand that we create more currency supply and more states across the regions.. |
I once attended an interview many years ago where the interviewer asked me.. he and his wife just built a very beautiful bungalow, what color would I advise them to paint the stairs.. Mumu me, na so I go talk say 'blue'.. he asked why blue. I said because blue is my favorite color.. Everytime I remember how foolishly confident I sounded eh, I just laugh..😀😀😃 |
nobody is surprised really.. propaganda and líes live here..🤔🤔 In 2019, N27trillion was around 70billion dollars (@360 exchange rate) Now, that N42 trillion is around 29billion dollars (@1400 exchange rate) Mr commissioner, you have degrown sir.. |
Ok she travelled. You didn't mention tho whether she would be back or not My advice.. wait till she returns before you continue.. It's even possible she went to a village where they have limited network.. |
ttobizz:He will...to waste more time.. he has money. |
Ogbeni has always made his position clear which led to the fall out in the last guber elections.. But one is surprised at all of these considering he is one of the Jagaban products.. More revelations are expected as time flies by tho.. Nigerian politics is a complex web.. nothing is revealed by what you see or hear.. |
As a doctor, I can tell you for free that women, esp matured and married have sexual needs at least during their ovulation phase which happens every month for a period of 4-6 days.. the layman way of calculating this period is by counting 10 days after the start of her period.. As nature would have it, this is the period when she's most fertile and sexually needy.. it's important for every man to understand this.. As a husband, you would observe that she's more receptive and less resistive during this period... EVERY MONTH!!! |
Trying to be smart by half.. Preliminary Impact Assessment is different from Environmental Impact Accessment as stipualted by the law.. If you still allow yourself to be bamboozled by this corrupt propagandists, then you probably deserve to be 🤔🤔🤔 |
