we achieve a new low everyday All of a sudden when the picture became clearer, they stopped blaming 16yrs of PDP. They now blame each other.. 🤔🤔 APC's agenda was to 'come and take their own' after they felt PDP had taken theirs. That's a very bad template of governance. The agenda wasn't to better the lives of citizenry.. You don't come to governance with a revenge mindset.. You come to governance to contribute your quota to making the Country greater.. simple Patriotism demands that. PDP as irresponsible as they were, now made to look like saints.. UN Should stop deceiving itself.. they could as well just rename it US.. How can a resolution not pass because one member casted a veto on it.. even after 12 members voted yes.. and 2 members abstained. Are they telling us that a resolution would pass if that one member voted yes and the other members casted no.. US's overwhelming influence on the UN is too much abeg.. from the looks of that swampy area off the city, the project go chop money.. That is if those involved would honestly apply the funds.. Initially we heard it would be a BOT contract but it looks like government would still spend a hell of a money on that project.. |

as it stands.. opposition in Nigeria is standing on KLeg.. PDP is still being haunted by the ghosts of its sinful past which is why they find it difficult to sanction those currently commiting clear antiparty and even profess its downfall whilst still in the same party.. The LP has allowed its house that it was just putting together to be scattered by some usual suspects.. clearly taking their young supporters for granted. They have failed to capitalised on some of the fame and goodwill their presidential candidate in the last election brought into the party.. Every Nigerian who has held any position that involves handling of government's fund on behalf of the people of Nigeria, has misappropriated and stolen so much of those funds.. Why?! we have a system that permits that.. How?! the rotten system takes root from the so-called 1999 Constitution.. Politicians and ruling elites and very senior civil servants unpatriotically take advantage of the obvious lacuna in that Constitution to game the system at the detriment of the larger society.. If not, how can an entire state be owing over 100billion but one man made away with 80billion .. it is the system that permits that.. we need to do away with that system.. lamentations won't help anybody🤔🤔 Make the institutions super strong to counter those córrupt kleptos who steal the State money and use same money to fight back when called to account. You would marvel at the amount of money they give to Judges and Justices to secure Kangaroo order.. Change the 1999 Constitution today, strengthen the institution therein and Nigeria would change overnight.. the so-called Ward Excos are used by the top echelon of the party when it suits them.. we saw what happened with Oshiomole and Ayu.. their crime was that 'they didn't pay their dues'.. The elites using the poor ward excos for their selfish ends when it suits them.. Ganduje's removal didn't come from the top so it can't fly.. or better still didn't come from the right quarters.. so..whether he it's right or wrong to step aside to answer for his crimes is immaterial here.. That car won't sell for 400k early last year.. Right now.. if you have anything that has 4 tires, you can bring it out and sell it for 2million.. Even 'Pantakers' (for those that don't know the meaning, those people that butcher old cars) are complaining of not getting old cars to butcher again.. those old Honda Halla 86 they used to buy for 100k.. now sell for 500k upwards as scrap.. one told me they have to even secure services of agents and pay like 50k-100k to the agents to be able to get old cars to buy and butcher these days.. This is the reality of the times we live.. One would think that Government would be proactive about all of these by ensuring the Assembly Plants for Various Brands are put in place so that Nigeria would emerge from these traumatic experiences stronger and more resilient.. when they don't get students to kidnap as students are on holidays, they descend on the villagers.. They even have groups with each group controlled by a head.. Kidnapping is a multibillion naira business rn and sadly govt isn't doing enough to break the cartel doing this.. You only hear uproar about State Police everytime students are kidnapped. After that everybody goes to sleep.. The National Assembly are the ones to really sit up and help Nigeria out of this.. make legislations that would bring state police to fruition.. stop waiting for the governors.. Or the President should issue an executive order if they are all not serious.. Nigerians deserve better protection.. |
