olatade:why do you think the EFCC finds it very difficult to prosecute corrupt politicians.. it is because of Judges like this.. In Nigeria, the Judiciary which is supposed to be an independent entity remains stooges of the Executives at the Federal and State Level.. they are deliberately starved of funds so they can always go cap-in-hand to beg the Executive.. and do their biddings. Available9:Wrong.. the money is deposited with Court registry or clerk as the case may be.. It's not after the person defaulted. At the end of the trial the money is returned as long as the bailed person did not jump the bail. 222 Likes 19 Shares |

I was in the bank today.. And honestly I was just shaking my head at the quantum of dollars people were passing round and handing to the fx designated tellers.. I told my friend that we ourselves are the problem of this country.. everybody just cashing in whenever they see any small opportunities not minding the repercussion of their actions on the country and the poor... Those people are simply those that hoarded the dollars.. (Most kept them in their safes locked up at home hoping that it would get to over 2k.. now everyone is suddenly loading dollars out.. as a matter of fact, there is a dollar glut right now in Banks.. This is the right time for the CBN to put Nigeria first for once.. take the rate back to N500, you would see the BDC moderate to around N550.. watch fuel price crash and inflation normalise like a magic.. The big win here is that they have closed the big gap that causes abuse and arbitrage.. they have stopped the fx mádness |

this one is not even news.. it's been the usual practice from time immemorial now in the Country.. Nigeria is like a man who goes to borrow money for all members of the family to steal, and that includes the man himself.. The Head doesn't show enough example to discourage members from misusing, misappropriating and stealing our limited resources.. it's like a stealing galore.. Nigerians are very exemplary people.. they copy what the leaders do.. if, as a leader, you condone indiscipline, your followers would follow suit. But sadly we have a suitation where the Country's Leaderships across the three divides have shown woeful examples of corrupt and dishonest leadership and the result is what stares us all in the face today.. the governors in their respective domain haven't help issues as well. Everyone just do as they so wish and expect everything to be okay.. You reap exactly what you sow.. it's only natural! 3 Likes |

That means everyone of them on that band would have to be downgraded because even as we speak, nobody get light as I heard the Grid had collapsed. If this thing affects everybody, it means that policy was done in error and ought to be reversed as soon as possible. Commonsense demands that. My suggestion is, only industrial areas or complex should be placed on band A and be fed as such, while residential areas should start from B and above. The current rate doesn't make any sense at all and should be reduced.. Another thing I observed is, the DisCos placing every Hotels and Hospitality business in the country on BandA and making them pay estimated premium regardless of their location, just because they are business centres.. this is exploitation taking tòo far and ought not to be.. From their submissions, "it has been hell for Federal Workers since the removal of fuel subsidy.." I'm just wondering how then it has been for those without Jobs..at least the Federal Worker still collects his salaries and even gets Wage awards, I heard for 6 months.. the common man on the street gets nothing. Have you ever seen where a woman is looking for a house and furnishing it in order to get married and settle down?!.. I sense that the op is a male.. @OP, you already have a skill set, that means you do not need to waste your time going to look for a Job.. this doesn't mean you won't look for the Job o as time runs by.. I suggest you focus 75% of your time on your proposed business.. use part of the savings to get a small place and grow from there.. network and let people know about your business. there are two state governments in Rivers right now.. nothing wey you go tell me..🤔🤔🤔🤔 In the end, it's Rivers people and governance that suffer. The 'selected' governor loses nothing. The Godfather who chooses his own commissioners, the numbers he want and even assign them portfolios by himself.. he loses nothing.. It's up to the people of River to liberate themselves from Political slavery. Charcoal business. Get a supplier that would supply you in Sacks.. You can resell them in Bags and also retail in small Nylon.. It's not a 'Dirty' business as some might think.. Once they are packaged, you have no business touching them again. You would make Good Profit of say between 20-50% every Month. |
