I think the poster is making sense, I wanted to post something similar.

But the poster should have use preference rather love. I think what he/she saying is why does people give preference to more beautiful or more handsome people. Wherever you find your self, whether at interview, school, office, home, among collegues, friends etc people tend to give more preference to the good looking ones. For examples: at interviews for employment, the interviewer get more lenient with the good looking ones. Some people get jobs because of their good looks rather than what they have in their brain. Another example: at competition, the good looking ones get more votes and preference than the others.

In my office, both females and males want to associate with me because of my looks.
But all the same no one is ugly.
