To let you know how prevalent it is in banking, a colleague of mine was implicated in a fraud scheme busted by the FBI all the way from USA that made headlines last year. her crime was that she did not do due diligence when opening the fraudsters account. the bank hired the best lawyers and fought her case, indirectly protecting the interest of the fraudster. after the whole ordeal she was promoted instantly to a branch manager.

Chai! And this same people are expecting Buhari to perform magic.

But yunno, the leaders must lay good foundation which will only be achieved through discipline, good governance, transparency and accountability.
