Ordinary Nigerians don't understand what it's means to sanction you in foreign land, only those of us who have travel out of the country and those top Politicians know the implications, let say UK sanction Buhari although it's not likely to do so(Someone will be use as scapegoat maybe buratia) it's will be impossible for Buhari to travel for medical check-up to UK and other country with serious ties with UK, So at the End Buhari might find himself in Chad or Niger Hospital, So sanction is really Disastrous

Lol not that much. But you get to see and hear things when u work in a hospital. The most heartbreaking ones are children abused physically and sexually and watching some of them die from the abuse.

The best thing for a well thinking healthcare professional to do is to leave Nigeria. Cos most of these Nigerian patients no get chill, Chai....some patients too dey get scoin scoin for head. And most times they forget health workers are human like them .

Mind you, I know there are some bad eggs.

One crazy thing I've seen , a patent was rushed on account of collapsing after fighting with a neighbour. Her peeps with all the pleading didn't drop any shilling before commencement of treatment. We all rallied to revive her, she became conscious, and was receiving treatment.
Ngbanu, time to collect money, make deposit o. Everybody shift,until a man who identified himself as husband Abi Na husband friend/ brother came to question the deposit bill. Trust Yorubas ( sorry for the stereotype) Na so abuse and insult follow, almost beat me join, I kukuma shift. Doctor came to know whatsup, and it almost went violent. Las Las they carried on the revived woman without paying a dime. Nothing.
Now do you get why paying before treatment can be implemented in a setting??
Healthcare workers are human, you probably won't do better.

A man and lady walked into the hospital to make enquiries. After explaining the process they need to go through, the man said they will like to see the doctor. As I was in the process of registering them, a lady came down the stairs, grabbed the man and began slapping him. The man couldn't free himself from the lady's grips and she wouldn't stop slapping him. Before we could say jack, the lady he came with had disappeared. It was after they were separated that the lady explained that their son had been on admission for a week. They had tried several times to get him to come see his son but to no avail. But rather had the effrontery to bring his girlfriend to the hospital. Chai, some women are strong.
