Their excuse, their cargo was flagged for carrying contraband. But overall I would rate 4 out of 5

I have used Marina and would still used then next month. Usually takes them 2-3 weeks to deliver. They charge #700 always.

So i went to confirm the price for Nipost.. The dude said about 3k - 5k and it could take forever to get there. Over a month.

There's also EMS whch is 8,820 as at today and would increase to about 10k from April 2nd. It takes 5 working days for the document to get to its destination.

But i don't trust this post office guys.. They'll say 5 working days now.. Before u ulknw it.. Its 10 yrs.

I'm just saying this so you could choose your options carefully.. Not everyone has money for DHL.

My bro what are you sending that they are charging you 5k. I use Nipost for all my mailings and I pay just #700. It does take close to 21 days to deliver though. That is why I send my documents by the first or second day of the application period. No how it wont get there before deadline.

I think what the embassy is tryna communicate to us is that only April and May can be booked for via the booking system. Others, i.e June, July have to be via email.

If you are for winter, book April or may, the earliest date you gonna get is June.

What that really means is that you book by April and depending on your enrollment date, you get June date, you book by May and you might get July date depending on your enrollment date also.

Please, for the prospective German students, there is no special winter booking appointments. Appointments for winter has begun already. They have gone as far as May 18th. Better do the vigil on that portal and book. Don't wait till its late to book or already booked out.

To open an account, go to Fintiba.com and follow through.

If after your interview too were denied, you can still get your money back. Charges apply though. Safe to be positive OK. Don't even accommodate the thought OK.

Then if you like fund the account 10 weeks after, so far there is still time for you to be enrolled, that's when they would consider giving you an AM reply. Wish u can fund it earlier than the said 6 weeks sha.

2. If its ok to book an appointment now, can i fix the appointment date to be ending June or early July?
(so that i will have time to raise money to open blocked acct immediately after interview.)

3. because I heard after visa interview, they will give you limited time to fund your account. is this true?

1. Search for German Consulate Lagos on google and educate yourself on how to book.

2. You can book now and your interview would be in the month of May or you can wait till next month to book for June. I would rather the former for safety reasons. Your Visa approval is dependent on when you fund the acct. Fund it in July and you would get your AM in July and so on.

9. You get a refund. You can also leave it to use to apply for next semester if for any reason you missed out. I know you won't need to go through all of that though

10. Be of good behavior and stay for over 10 years. Get married to a German girl of course.

11. High. it's definitely up to you. Make good grades, possibly go for Ph.D, get married, invite your wife to join you, give birth to kids and so on. Sha don't implicate yourself sha.

TOEFL ain't that difficult to pass. Just read, watch YouTube videos a lot, practice with the Barron or TOEFL software always to rate your performance and you would be good. often times you score in the score is a reflection of your score while practicing on the software. I did that and had a score of 92 which am grateful to God for. All the best guys.
PS: Use Noteful videos a lot on YouTube. Those guys are good

Visa bookings are now available o. May 17th to be exact.

You would need to be on the booking page day and night if you wanna find a date to book. That's the rarest commodity now. I had to be awake from 12am to 5am checking that site to book. Eventually I God showed me favor and I saw May 14 and 15th yesterday by 10:12 and trust me those two days appointments only lasted for 30-45mins.
I thinks it's a ploy by the embassy so y'all have to brace up and do whatever is needed to book.

It seems appointment for Summer is gone. I don't think you can book for appointment in March/April. jejely waiting for May or so when Winter appointments would be made available

They got many branches all over Lagos. So google to find the one nearest to you. i'd recommend using the one at Marina sha

I mostly use the one at CMS marina. That's the HQ I guess. Also note they don't deliver or accepts mails on Saturday. It usually takes nothing more than 3 weeks to deliver. So be sure u got up to 21 days at least to the deadline of your application before you consider them.

Empresskay, I think you can use your WAEC or NECO to apply for B.Sc successful and begin afresh in your desired course. But as for using the transcript of your school to gain admission, not to sure.
I expect my elders on this forum to clear you though.

I funded my account last year July 2017 and due to sudden closure of embassy to Visa applicant, I lost my admission. I have since left the money there(Fintiba) as I was hoping to use it this year. As God would have it, I have been admitted and intend to apply for VISA with the blocked account.
My question is, hope this won't be an issue with the embassy. I mean my leaving the money in the account since last year.
