I applied to Frankfurt university of applied sciences in April for information technology (MSC) and uptill now no feedback though I got an email from uniassist that my application has been sent to the school. Does anyone here have an idea how long it takes for the school to process their admission.

I applied to same school for International Economics and Economic Policy. They release admission by mid June. I got that off their website. All it takes it thoroughly going through a school's website to inform yourself. Just applying won't do. I hope you have begun applying for accommodation too. It allows you to book without admission OK.

I know if one is sending application documents by post, one has to send cerified copies of certificates and certified students' copy of transcript; but my question is this HOW DOES ONE SEND THE OFFICIAL TRANSCRIPT THAT WILL BE ISSUED BY ONE'S UNIVERSITY ? cos I know the school in Germany will also require for OFFICIAL transcript. My guy get admission first. That's when you worry about official copy. For now, they need only your unofficial copy.

Please is it advisable to use one admission letter to secure an interview date and change admission letter on the day of the interview. I currently have an admission but my first choice school won't give me an admission decision till Jun 22nd. I am a bit worried because dates are filling out someone applied this morning and got July 18th. I would love to get a date in July. Since both schools resume Sept 24th and OcT 1st, so I can get my visa in good time by God's grace. I have an admission letter from HTW and a confirmation of application from TU Berlin addressed to the embassy. TU Berlim sent this letter because they are aware of our visa interview date struggles here. The letter just asks the embassy to give me an interview date in July since their decision is in Jun 22nd and that i have submitted a complete application. So do I request for an interview date attaching both letters or do I use HTW admission to get a date and then switch it when I go for the interview to the TU Berlin admission letter hopefully I get it as TU Berlin is my school of first choice? This is my current dilemma any advice will be appreciated. Please anyone who has successfully used Form A to fund their blocked account please let me know how you did this. Thanks for your continued support and information on this thread.

This question has been asked and answered for the umpteenth time. It's very possible. As a matter of fact, you are wasting time waiting, go ahead and apply OK. Then when you wanna go for interview or collect your AM you can use a different one altogether so long as its an admit to a German school.

As for the A form, don't know much about it

Visa fee is still #27,500. Am not sure is dependent on exchange rate. Euro is 430 and multiplied by 75 is 32k. So am sure that's there rebate OK.

@ kenthumphz, Wow, that's nice. seems like you are the tall guy on suit, was surprised I couldn't find you when I eventually came into the waiting room. Omo, the Messing up of the documents was as a result of me stapling the photocopies when I need not to. sorting them out became a problem as I have to detach them individually, I just have to play calm and bother less about his rantings. But his a nice guy, just want us to adhere strictly to his orders. it all went well for me as well as I wasn't even quizzed so much to my greateat surprise. I did. VO didn't ask after it. Pauly asked after it but as a sharp guy, seeing I didn't come with it as I didn't see the need, I pretended as though I had it.

Transcript of records is your B.Sc transcripts. If you don't know what transcripts is then the question is are you going for B.Sc or M.Sc?

Description is just you rolling out the name of the courses you took during your degree days, especially the ones relevant to your course.

University Entrance is your WAEC or NECO

My Transcript.

Arrived Bonny Camp by 5:00 after leaving Sangotedo, after Ajah by 4:30 am. Didn't feel like going to stand while queuing, so I went to a branch of my place of work to relax. Got back to the embassy by 6:15. Met some 12 people on the queue already. You know how it is na, my body begin dey scratch me. That passport wey I talk say I no go do, I go do am o. I paid 1k for it. Got back to my queue by 6:35.

Paulinus landed. Silence in the land. He'd asked all of us to bring out our documents. Mind you, he does that batch by batch. 4 per batch.
One guy allowed the screaming get to him, he was just messing his documents up. Guys nothing bad about the man. Get all your documents right, act smart, dress smart and you gonna be fine, trust me.

I scaled all of that and went in to do my biometrics by 7:25(did that at the first office as soon as security guys scan you for metal objects). Done with biometrics and in my mind, this Nigerian lady should tell me where to go and do my interview, that was when I received my rude shock.

VO: Let's begin the interview
Me:How and why(All in my mind o. Cos I been think say them go carry me go inside na, meet that my favorite German lady to interview me, una wey know sabi wetin i dey yarn na.....lol)

VO: You learnt the language.
Me: Learning by self via YouTube and other online materials

VO: Funded?
Me: Yes.

VO: Master or Bachelor's
Me: Masters

VO: Course
Me: Economic Policy

VO: Why Germany
Me: bla bla bla

VO: Why not USA or Canada
Me: usual answer na. Premium edu at a cost that doesn't break bank or wallet

VO: Why this course
Me: told her

VO: Tell me what you know about Germany.
Me: Told her a lot and was hoping she'd stop me, she didn't o. Na him I stop o

VO: That all you know?
Me: Yes

VO: B.Sc Thesis topic
Me: Told her

VO: Tell me your findings about your thesis
Me: Told her. She had to stop me as she was inputting all of my answers

VO: That will be all
Me: Nibo!!! So fast. No be two hours una dey use. Wetin happen to other questions like tell me about your modules etc. 30 minutes never complete sef(All in my mind o)

So that was it. I give God the glory cos I wasn't found wanting in any of the areas I was asked and it indeed was a success by God's grace.

P.S-I didnt go with my transcript. When Pauly was asking for it, I did as if I had it. My point is, be smart. Don't be exposing your self and be telling him everything you didn't bring. All in all, carry everything OK.

Thanks to all the good guys who made their transcripts available for novice like myself to use to prepare. That's why am giving back to the society that gave to me when I was in need of guidance

Just wrapped up my student visa interview some 25 mins ago. Give God the glory for everything. It's all ending in praise....hallelujah. Gonna drop my transcript later. Not that long as the interview wasn't long, just 25mins by one Nigerian lady at the front. That's how you know God has favored you already.

Thanks bro.I have sent an email since yesterday, still awaiting response. Anyway I sent my form to FSU Jena through UPS, and I got a confirmation email of delivery today.Took less than 3 days with UPS. Nipost is just so annoying. Still thinking of resending again to LMU Munich.I am just waiting for their reply.

My bro, when you done send like 10 applications via UPS or FEDex and body tell you, Na then you fit begin dey reason say NIPOST dey try wella.

So my interview is next week and I have some questions I wanna ask the house, especially to the big guys that have gone ahead of us

-When asked about my plans for after studies, what should be the best approach to answering it or best response?

Do I just tell them am gonna come back home and seek for a good paying job, impacting knowledge gained over the years into the economy of my home nation (Economic Policy) or tell the VO that I really wanna continue up to PhD level and come back home to lecture or work in a government establishment like in my state, Enugu after completion of my studies up to that level.

I have gone through so many transcripts on this thread, so those that may wanna refer me back to them shouldn't bother. My reason for asking is cos I hope to lecture and I feel I need to attain at least PhD level before doing that. Working in a government agency is one of the dreams too.

Warris happening here! Whenever I apply to private schools with crazy tuition fees. I get responses in less than 1week. I have applied to four schools schools with no tuition.

TU Berlin
Goethe Frankfurt

Yet no admission response yet!

Please is there anyone who applied to the above schools for winter semester 2018 and have received any response either positive or negative?

As far as admit is concerned, there is hardly any school that doesn't give you a timeline as to when it does release admission letters. So just calm down, go back to each of the school's website and inform yourself. Ludwig might probably invite you for an exam or test two weeks after giving you conditional admit this month or next. Frankfurt's admit is usually from June 15 or August 15, depends on the deadline you meet.

And did he ask what time he was gonna leave before jumping into conclusions. For your info, I leave by 4:30 whenever I got appointments at the embassy. Once bitten, thrice shy abeg. So if that makes me a winch, Nna you cannot do anything about it. Anyways, my point is that even by 4:30am, you sure of getting there by 6am

So if I leave my house in Sangotedo, after AJAH by 4am say by public transport, I won't get there by 6am. Guy don't misinform people. From my place(Sangotedo) to Bonny Camp is 45mins by private ride. Do the maths by public transport. Mind you there is hardly traffic by such time.

Yes. I stay around that AJAH axis. It's very possible. You just gotta leave early. I for instance on my day intend leaving as early as 4:30 am so that I can get there latest 5:30/6:00 am.

1. I don't think, not sure there are cheap hotels in VI. It's why it's called VI and probably not Isolo if you know what I mean. If you coming from outta town, maybe try Obalende or AJAH for some "cheap" hotels. In Ajah you could get a room for say #6-7 k as that's as cheap as you can get.

2. Mine is on the 15th of May, if it's not who I think it is, I know someone from Pittakwa whose date falls on the 18th though.

AM go surely fall on us very soon and many others coming after.

Student copy is boldly written not for official use. That's the problem

It wasn't a problem for me. My school accepted mine with that boldly written on it. The only snag is that I would have to pay to have it sent to them whenever enrollment comes around. That's about 20k. Please is there another way of going around this

That's probably cos the traffic in Abuja ain't much. In Lagos, May is entirely gone. You can either cancel then rebook at a better time but I would advise you be cautious with that.

If you had an extra year in Nigeria, don't you pay extra school fees?Expect same in Germany. Actually if you fail a course twice, I heard you will have to be forced to change program. Don't let that be your lot mate. If you the guy am sending this message to, it's a lil obvious you even thinking you gonna struggle. Save yourself the trouble and go for your Geology bro. Like my paddy said, Geology has a wealth of opportunities. Na law wey I sabi no get prospect.
