As directed by others, page 1 has Info on what you need.

But then, you can generate all those forms after answering the questionnaire. So, do well to answer the questionnaire correctly, at the end, all the IMM forms and sections required for you, your spouse, and your child will be made available on your GCkey for your download and filling.

Please explain what you mean by "The VFS system isn't working, so you're attempting a walk-in to get your biometric done".

Note that even the security won't even allow you to enter the premises if your name isn't on the list of those booked for biometrics for that day.

So if you have paid for your biometrics (which was paid during application submission), kindly book your biometrics online and print out your biometric appointment letter, BIL and go with your Passport.

Please I've already submitted my application but I noticed I checked on NO instead of YES when I was asked about been denied of visa from another country or territory... Because I've applied for a UK standard visa lately last year and I was denied though till date I'm still yet to know why(those an agent was involved) and also on my Canada application they asked if I've done IELTs before I checked on NO instead YES I did IELTS but my band score was 5.5 so my thoughts was this thing might not be necessary... Please what can I do asap to amend this part as my application is still on background check I submitted my application on March 1st and did biometric and updated March 9th and my school is resuming by MAY...and I joined this platform about 2weeks ago.. Please what can I do asap ?? Please I need help I'm really begging please , please people of God

Someone had same concern with you some pages back. Lucky your application is just a few weeks old. What you need to do now is refill the form (correctly this time around and don't let anxiety lead you to making another mistake), send back via webform and or email with a little explanation about the mistake.

As for the IELTS, it's not even a necessity for visa application and I don't think it carries any weight when you say you dont have it when actually you did wrote IELTS. NSE route isn't feasible again

1. Must my proposed course of study relate to my current work? For example, I am a tax administrator but I want to go for Supply Chain Management and Logistics, although is a Postgraduate Certificate Program. Will this limit my chances?

2. I just read about study gap, I finished schooling 2017 but I have been working since then. Will this study gap also hinder my chances?

Answers

1) As an applicant, it is expected that the course of study chosen should demonstrate academic or career progression. That's, the course should be an upgrade(advancement) to the degree you already had or job doing. But that doesn't mean one can't do career change. But for a career change to be convincing to the VO, the applicant needs to show extensively why he/she is switching career and or academics and it must be thoroughly convincing. So If you're changing career/academic path, do well to convince the VO very well in your SOP, otherwise your chance is slim though not impossible. Many have changed career paths and got approved.

2) Study gap isn't an issue per say in visa application. It is only in some schools that they state that some numbers of years after school isn't eligible to apply to such school or course. Again, as your are fully employed from the time of graduation, it shows that you have been active and not idle. So having a job stated as reason for such gap has covered you. You don't have any issue at all with study gap. Study gap is an issue if you were idle those period with no job or education to back up those years.

You dont need to declare your refusals from any country. Just list your Visas only and i did the same on my application and only declare my visa from Germany, China, Australia and Turkey. I have my student visa already

Ok. Yes, for undergraduate studies, you need the waec. But then, don't know how your intended school does it application. But you may need to buy waec scratch card/pin and upload for the school to use and verify your waec.

Not too conversant with undergraduate application requirements. So let others guide you accordingly.

Your letter of introduction from your establishment didn't carry job duties doesn't mean others don't. As a matter of fact, mine and many more others had it. It was employment/offer of appointment letter that had position, salary, allowances and branch posted.

I don't know how close you're to your HR team or line manager? Recommendation letter can help in that regards too.

Over the period time, we have seen people use first bank MBS though they had to go miles to get it as not all branches have idea of what it is. So you can go to head office in your area and get it done.

Not compulsory but I say is relevant. From most applicants from India, I have seen some get rejected with VO siting low scores in undergrad hence can't be able to undergo such program in Canada.

But in situation you can't access it, your certificate is ok and enough.

That being said, why has your school refused to give you a student copy? Is even your right to have your transcript. Some schools and their rules.

Get a letter of introduction from your company which stated your job functions and not just job position.

Those you mentioned are job position and not job functions. As a layman(same as VO's), cant assume I know your job functions from just looking at your job role.

That will help you write about it in the SOP and the LoI will now serve as a backup to your job function(s) claims before the VO

In this scenario, how long have your application stayed and have they completed info sharing? If info sharing is complete, have they sent you a PFL? If non, kindly refill the same IMM form, explain that mistake made send via webform and email. Just hope is isn't late yet.

Saying yes to the question will in no affect the decision to be taken on your application. But ticking NO, will amount to misrepresentation which comes with a penalty of atleast 5year ban. So do the needful. Be truthful. Ok

Hi, please I need some help with my brother's application.

He got an original passport request letter on February 7, proceeded to submit the passport and other documents through VFS Abuja on February 11 and on the 14th, it was under process at the IRCC office. By February 24 it was under process at the Canada Visa office.

He called the vfs helpline and he was told his passport is still at the Canada embassy in Abuja. After sending several mails to the embassy in Abuja, he was told a decision has not been made on the application which contradicts what was on the passport request letter.

The passport was returned to him on March 14 without the visa stamp or even an instruction on what to do, he has checked his GCkey several times and there's no update or request for any document, the Nairobi visa office has also been emailed without any response. Please, what can he do?

Likely your background check maybe completed but can only be updated once they complete your application review and eligibility. Then you will see when your background check was completed.

Hello.

Applying for study visa, you will be given a study permit at POE. If your course has co-op, you will also be given work permit at the POE. But you must state in your questionnaire that your study involves a co-op.

But on a normal application, if you're given a study permit you're permitted to work part-time of 20hrs/ week max. And you don't need work permit for that.

Cancelled Without Prejudice” is an embassy or consulate stamp of cancellation that indicates an administrative mistake in the visa. It sometimes indicates that there is a mistake in the visa or that the visa is a duplicate. It does not affect the validity of other visas in the passport and does not prejudice future visa applications. #google

Hello Filanodivine,

You have to show (18,000+10,000+ others( ancillary fees)). Then also provide/show to the VO how you intend to pay for the subsequent year. So since you're using a Sponsor, it would be preferable the sponsor pays your tuition (be it a term or full year) just to prove commitment as he is a 3rd party sponsor. Then send the first year living expenses into your account. Then in his account, he should show 2nd year Tuition and living expenses..

So in summary, let him pay Tuition from his account, pay 1st year living expenses into your account. Then do gift deed to back it up. Then the rest should be in his account.

Now your in-law with his own family to care for as well, let your sis and the hubby draft a kind of letter of explanation to explain why they want to sponsor you and how they will sponsor you without affecting their financial obligations to their own children. Let them both sign it, notarize it along with the gift deed, sponsorship Letter and sponsorship declaration.

I contacted Edmonton mp late December, he responded last week that my application is under processing. Today I got approval letter.
