blessingflow:Wait, you mean you didn't indicate yes in the imm form when they asked have you ever been refused visa before? |
blessingflow:Hello Blessing, Sorry the the mess the agent put your through. In info sharing, ofcourse the will find out about the ban because they will inquire. But they won't because of the UK ban and ban you.No. instead since the ban was as a result of misrepresentation, it will only impact your application through a painstaking screening of all your documents submitted. But you could have made it easier for them had it been during your application, you explained it well in your SOP (dedicate a paragraph to explain the reason for the ban. Yes all we all knows that even if one uses an agent. Any documentation submitted by an agent is by us and us alone will be held accountable). Just hope you did so? So just relax and hope for the best. In God, all things are possible. |
DarrrkMatter:Hello Darrrkmatter, First as Regards to the bolded, you seek advice from peoole in the house still hide that one thing that will help people to analyse and give your a sincere answer. This is a faceless forum and know one knows another except you know the person before now. So no need not to be plain in your writeup. So you may need to tell the house tour real age as the stage of degree you sort for to most point, age is a determinant factor. That being said. You have already started university and in your second year, so I wouldn't advice you drop out yet. Infact don't even drop out until you secure your Visa. Now you have 2 options; 1) You can apply to school as a transfer student. As you have a good waec, I believe your year 1 and year so far year 2 will be good as well (unless Nigeria factor's played part there. Don't be angry ok. Here we tell each other the truth). So school will just evaluate your transcript and see the courses to wave and which level you can start from. 2) Apply directly without mentioning you already have started university. I believe with your waec and till under 20, you're good to go. Also, since you're under 20, you're still within the limit of applying for Bsc but hope you have the fund to take care of the 4year or 3years or 2years as the case maybe to cover your tuition and living expenses when applying for study visa? With your age, you don't have issue as regards 2 years gap. We have seen 10+years gap get permit. So all you need is get admission, package your application well and leave the rest to God. That's my little advice. All the best |
saucekid50:Hello saucekid, There is no special tip to applying and securing admission other than meeting the admission requirements. Although it doesn't end there, you need to pray that those whose CGPA is higher than yours isn't much. If it is thesis, securing a potential supervisor will help but also ensure that even if you have secured supervisor, your CGPA is still very high as admissions is very competitive. At UNBC, I secured a supervisor but still didn't get admission as I was told that many of those with higher CGPA and supervisor applied too.(mind you there is a quota for international admit per term). Unless you go for PGD which is easier. Again don't limit your application to just one school. Apply to atleast 3 to improve your chances. All the best ok |
Semtu:Are those documents vital to your applications or you just want to delay your eligibility review intentionally.lol |
JNATH:Hello JNATH, Proof of fund (POF) is vert very necessary in your application. Now you're stating that the person you wanted to use as sposnor isn't financially stable now. So how may we be of help in that regards? We don't give neither do we encourage formulation of proof of fund. As you know, sponsorship from parents, siblings has edge over 3rd party sponsor like aunt, uncle, in-laws etc. But it doesn't mean if you have sibling or parent as sponsor, your application will be approved nor if you have 3rd party sponsor, your application won't be approved. So what you will need to do is get a Sponsor since your can't sposnor yourself or apply for student loan to help you on that. |
Woow. The joy in the group today is awesome. Congrats to all new PPR holders (Rapha,Obibaby) etc, welcome onboard. To all that their eligibility started today, Tolu,Kenny and others, sit back and start your Waka preparation cos your God is adding PPR flavours to your applications. |
Teemenzo:My Mannest man Teemenzo. The dragging weakened me. They will still tell you the more fund you show the better, when you now show them where to attach the fund in IMM form, they will still ask you to show them proof of where it was stated in IRCC. Hope you're doing great? Still waiting for that good news. Amen |
Monex007:Hello Monex, Congrats on your approval. Now you need to send your New LOA to IRCC for the update. Following the Covid-19 pandemic, students are allowed to travel to Canada at most a month to the resumption of their classes. Few students have traveled way before class resumption and got permitted into Canada while some were turned back at the airport. So as not to risk the waste of airfare, wait towards the end of July or 1st august to embark on your journey. So long as your counterfoil expiring date is way beyond August 2022, you can wait ok. My humble opinion though. |
technix:Hello Technix, Not really so. The room and board is CAD$10,000 and shouldn't be divided. Others (More like ancillary fees), as advised from when I joined this journey, were to be putting CAD$3,000 to cover for flights and other fees that may be incurred. I said this some time ago and someone dragged me to show them a link to prove it. But that's what Frankrobbn taught us. So, KRTL, don't divide it. CAD$10,000 is for room and board. You can leave others blank if you so desire. |
ShallyK:Hello Shally, is no about land, I just used that for simple explanation sake to tackle her establksihement, She did the following: 1). Job/work ties: Resubmitted employment details, leave letter that sighted she will be reabsorbed into upon her return, recommendation letter from her HOD and MD. 2). Professional ties: She was already member of Nigeria pharmaceutical. So she joined Red cross and Rotary club for community voluntary health works. So she got recommendation letters from them all where they all stated that upon her return her new acquired knowledge will help move the non organizational bodies forward in their quest to providing good community health. 3) she got recommendation from her church that she carries out free medical(drugs) outreach to the members of their chistain community an a such they approved of her deisre to further her studies. 4) She opened her own pharmaceutical shop and attached receipts from her shops So that just all she did. her application isn't yet approved but she got medical request. so I felt maybe all those she did helped her even though as we know, IRCC is unpredictable and anything can happen. But that doesn't maker her application wonderful. i only encourage people to be creative and try close all loopholes. |
dishydens:Maybe you need to get an Affidavit of fact, stating that you and your spouse are married traditionally, date It was held. the venue( your spouse village and compound) then attach pictures to back it up. There is a way they do it at high court. let those well groomed in that tell you more |
amila20042001:Hello Amila, Application is now done online and as such all doements are upload viia portal or sent by webform and or email. So scan them as PDF, merge them and upload accordingly. Mind you, the max upload per section in new portal is 2mb, GCKey is 4mb and webform is 2mb. So if your docuemts are much (as per size of doc), you may need to know how you go about it. I had encounter with someone here, we only had to upload and submit some via portal. then share it into 3 copies and submit via webform as all the documents are important but cant be sent as one. |
Predator188:Hello Predator, Goodmorning. I wasn't arguing with Omiinii. I was only advising SallyK (in my own opinion) based on what he/she stated. He or she has the required fund. earns 560k/month which amount to almost 7miliion per annum(just for salary). If you noticed I asked if the company he/she works with is well known and not like all the O.O & Sons Ltd and if he/she has assets to his or her name. i used land just to make it simple. I'm not a VO, but I believe those guys are trained to be critical thinkers. Even in my lay mans mind, having such job in nigeria and not be established in terms of acquiring assets could look somehow. So, in that sense, that's why I said it isn't about having huge funds in account, but being socio-economically tied to your country.(ties that would likely draw you back to your home country). I would have quoted someone here who had almost the same profile with sally and was resufed too. She had 23.+million POF and Job with good pay. One of Vo's comment was, applicant single and not established. she had no assets to her name. She only has Job and money to her name. That it worked for A doesn't mean it will work for B. So is good to always try and close all potential loopholes. I rest it here Thank you so much Predator |
Omiinii:Hello Omiinii, I know the angle you're coming from. In general terms money is an assets. That's why I used the term in immigration process. If have 100mio in account and no assets in form of lands and other properties, and you have 3million in account with lands and other properties, VO will see you as more established than I am and that you're likely to return back home than me. So my oga/ma, i feel is not about having huge money in account, but being established. Because VO may feel the money could be borrowed. |
ShallyK:Hello SallyK, So sorry for your refusal. is just a temporary delay. Now as we all know, you need to get your note to know what actually is the VO concern(s) as the reason in the refusal letter is generic. Now one thing about having huge funds in the account and paying just a deposit is that it will make the VO question the genuineness of the applicants to study or is the fund just for demonstration purposes? Showing you earn 560k monthly, do you have other assets other than the 12million in the account to show that you're well established in your home country? Again, hope your company is a known establishment that will make the VO easily believe such monthly income and not from one SallyK and sons limited? So, you need to tighten all loose ends. A Vo will believe that an applicant with 2million in account and paid one-year tuition and has assets in form of lands, shares, other properties is more established and will likely return back home than you who have all the millions but not established. which can easily tell him/her you don't plan to be established in your home country. So my opinion is 1). Pay the entire one-year tuition to show that the money is yours and is meant for studies ( as the money is just floating back and forth between your account and mutual funds). 2). Show some assets in your name, not just huge money ( in this immigration process, cash in account isn't really an ASSET per se but Assets is cash in the making). This will go a long way to show you're well established and have what will likely bring you back home. Again, as the funds keep moving between mutual funds and your account, I would like you to trace it back to the origin of the money movement from your account to a mutual fund and diligently explain it in your LOE to prove that the money is truly yours and also explain why you like keeping it in mutual funds. Why I said this is, people can borrow funds from people who do not like their money to be idle. So as not to keep their money idle, they send it to mutual funds so that it will be growing. Now once the visa application is approved, the fund is reversed and sent back to the owner. So while you wait for your note, be your VO and begin now to draft your LOE and start also to get documents you may need to tackle the concerns. But then, if the note comes out and you feel the refusal reason isn't justifiable, you may seek JR if you can afford it. All the best. |
Taiyelolu20:Hello, Please how were you able to submit work permit without filing IMM forms? That's the first mandatory form you're to fill and that if you don't upload a filled one, your application won't and can't be submitted. Unless you're referring to study permit using the new portal. In the new portal, you don't fill nor upload any IMM form ok. |
Ruby22:Hello Rubby22, For Masters in Canada, 2:1 is the benchmark but then, due to competition, what level of 2:1 did you come out with and your last 2 year UG CGPA. Someone with BEng 4.34 in Civil Engr, applied to Manitoba, Simon Fraser, Saskatchewan. Simon Fraser and Manitoba denied him, only Sask admitted him. As per when to expect a decision, it is usually 3 months from the deadline date and not when you applied. Also to increase your chances, you may need to apply to a Civil Engr related PGD/PGC should incase. |
Atdeejay12:Yes |
sinorte:Hello Sinorte, Sorry I'm not a resident of Lagos as such can't direct you on that. Also I haven't witnessed or seen any bank whose form A takes just 24hrs. Maybe people with experience can. What I have experienced and seen is 48hrs and is StanbicIBTC |
matthew080:Guess you haven't heard of those called forensic experts (Experts in paper analysis, document dating, and forensic document exam)? So, be careful ooo |
makano:Sir, Is true. have confirmed it. Used it to pay for 3 schools. CAD$120, CAD$120, and CAD$80. It all went through. |
femmybet:Try Access Visa card or Dollar prepaid card |
Divinedxtrovert:Hello Divine. there is no specialty in defining it other than stating categorically how the huge lump sum came about and attaching documents to show proof of such sales. When land or building or whatever assets are sold, there are documents binding the buying and selling. Attach those documents and you're good to go ok |
Teemenzo:Amen. Teemenzo my oga. God will remember you. Seriously rooting for you. You deserve it. |
femmybet:I guess you're using the new portal. When inputting your 10-year employment history 1. Do not give a gap between a month and or year. for eg, if the first employment is from February 2006 to January 2008, the next employment history will be from February 2008 to whatever. So do not give a gap from the previous one ended to when the next one starts. if not, errors will be occurring. 2. your employment history shouldn't exceed the specified10 years by even just a month. if not errors will still be appearing. 3. Your employment history shouldn't be less than 10 years. if not errors will be popping out. 4. even when not employed, put unemployed to make it up to 10 years These were my experiences |
phummy1821:Congrats Ma. This is sweet to read. IRCC and CANADA will not kill people with Depression ooo. whole 4 months!! |
prittygift114:Hello Prittygift114, Since your husband is going to pay for your 2-year tuition and living expenses, he is already your sponsor. So why do you ask if you need a sponsor? Your husband is already your sponsor and he alone is enough as you have said he can pay your tuition and living expenses. As for sponsors' statement of account, yes you will need to submit that as well as a Letter of sponsorship and affidavit of sponsorship. Also sending living expenses to you, you will also need a gift deed from him to cover that. |
buchito1:Woow Woow Woow. This season 21 is gonna be a great season. Congrats Buchito1 and to many others, that will receive theirs today. |
Calmdancer21:Click on link. https://www.cic.gc.ca/english/contacts/web-form.asp Scroll down and click on tell us more. Then follow the instructions. |
KRTL:Hello KRTL, Literally, when an applicants Sponsor is using a company account to show proof of fund, it is expected that said sposnor should get a reference letter from bank stating sole signatory to account if owned by one person. But if reverse is the case, a board of directors resolution letter is used to show that the management/directors of the company are in the know of such Sponsorship and approves of it and is in support of it. As for your case, you don't need to write it. A reference letter to show signatory to account as it is a family's business can do. |
Woow we are moving higher. All those expecting their IRCC love letters, this thread is for you. Many shall and will jump up in celebration of their PPR's. |
