Nightshift: Akpugo is a town with 8 communities. O'Eji Ndiuno and Ndiagu were connected to the national grid in late 80's. Obuno and Ndiagu Obuno were connected during Chime 's first term. I don't know about Obinagu / Ndiuno Uwani and other areas like Ugwuafor. My dear, I don't know what u mean by national grid of 80s. All I know is that we started having electricity in akpugo, during chimaroke first tenure my dad and neighbours came back to the village to do mass wiring . Chimaroke did it for me biko |
wirinet: See bragging. 3 igbo states supply oil and gas? abeg which 3 states? and how much oil and gas are they supplying? it is easy to calculate, just look at the amount they get from 13% derivation and you would have an idea. I am sure my village produces more crude than any of the three states and you say my region is benefitting from your meager supply.Abia, anambra, IMO are oil producing states |
wirinet: Ignorance is an incurable disease. Our most popular and accomplished people are uduaghan and Prof itse sagay? Itsekiris were Nigeria 's ambassadors before any igbo man dreamt of answering the title ambassador. An itsekiri man was the first graduate in the whole of black Africa. Itsekiris were far more organized than igbos when the Europeans came, so much so that the Europeans saw us as allies and not slaves.and who knows these ppl worldwide. its like only igbos have produced ppl of Intl repute in this country |
Orlando Owoh: DerisiveGull, Yoruba have a lot of resources to sustain them.yet they are all over ouel. smh |
drnoel: probably depends on ur age range cos the young people my age are not undecided but some support biafra and some don´t. The older people I have met and spoken to about this are totally against another war cos they saw the canage, destruction, deaths and mass killings of that timeAm talking of Biafra not war. wetin dey worry u? btw, did u school at unizik? |
ba7man: See the pix @Agbameta posted after your post.Go to Enugu nah. over to u, is there anyone like that in Yoruba land? |
Nightshift: Ozalla - Agbani - Nara - Afikpo Truck B road, otherwise known as N3, stretching from Onitsha to 4 Corner is a federal road. The deputy governor can not do much than to hope that FG gives Gov. Chime permission to rebuild the road. Chime was able to reconstruct the section from 4 Corner through his hometown. Moreover, a deputy governor does not have much political leverage in today's Nigeria political setting. My dear, chimaroke is the best thing that happened to nkanu ppls. quote me any where |
Nightshift: Nnamani felt good doing the portion from Ozalla to his Agbani home, but did not consider it pertinent to extend it to his fellow Nkanuland people in the eastern part of the vast old LGA. Jim Nwobodo equally did same during his administration. Only Obe ( the town of his SG, Paul Egbogu) benefited from his rural electrification programme. Egbogu made sure that low-tension poles and cables were connected to all the nooks and corners of Obe. The other Nkanu communities had to buy poles and transformers, or wait for more decades before getting connected to the national grid. Jim' s government did not build any new roads anywhere in Nkanuland.was it not chimaroke that wired akpugo rural community? |
ceejayluv: Dude, if you were smart, you'd have checked out those.coordinates on Google Earth to see your much anticipated aerial view of my villa, presumably while you jerk off in anti-ibo climax....haven't u noticed I don't reply him again? Y is he concerned that u are posting semi detached houses instead of the communal nonsense that give rise to slums in their states esp ibadan? |
1 shortblackboy: house aninmal or beast ?No, lion of the house, for a wall gecko. who dash monkey banana in the first place |
berem: I don't need to prove to you or any other ignoramus that am Igbo. Keep wallowing in your stupidity and Idiocy. I don't care how you feel about my Igboness. Not because we don't agree in certain things makes me a lesser Igbo. I maghi onye mbu so o ka mma I mechiri onu gi kwara onwe gi ugwu.Mention sb that said there is no mud house in igboland, onye mgbuwa. |
Afam4eva: Like is aid, there are mud houses in the east but you have to sojourn into the thick villages to find one standing. In my village, i've never seen a mud house before and also in other Igbotic villages that i've been to. Infact, my village is more or less a town as it is cos almost everyone has a good erected house or a failry good structure. That's how most Igbo villages are. If u come to nnewi, abiriba for eg, na so u go dey look like person wey Neva see house before. |
Siena: That enemy-of-progress tag is wearing thin.Criticism is good but in this forum, I only analyses criticisms from igbos( who also criticize themselves wella) . Yoruba views are more of bad belle than criticism, before u know it, they will link the company to the civil war, don't ask me the connection btw the two, they know how to do it and the plot of the threads will change. Eg sb said all the materials were imported, in ur own mind, is that a good criticism or bad belle? |
FredAuto: It's 0% production in Nigeria... all parts are imported and coupled in Nigeria.wrong. innoson makes some of the parts in Enugu including some machine parts. Motor parts are produced in large quantities in nnewi. Of course some things were imported, but then stop hating. |
sandijey: No tribe is better than the other my dear! Because u guys are more vocal and everywhre doesn't make u better than anybody. There are things the yorubas have that u don't have, and otherwise. Those statements u made is exactly what would get people from other tribes feel insulted! Nobody is better than anybody. If u want to talk of war, the yorubas have been fighting war for a long long time until recently, doesn't make them better than igbos or likewise!I don talk my own. the so called other tribes should talk their own instead of getting insulted |
sandijey: Is it no longer a good thing to attract investors to an enabling environment. the indigenous industries owned by people who understand the terrain of that region plus outside investors is what makes an economy strong! Everything in america is not owned by americans!Thank God u said everything. So if they leave u, yorubas are like Americans? Most blue chip companies in SW dated back from those days when lizards were in ones and twos. SW is closer to Lagos geographically so, it had a spill over from Lagos. The whites developed and invested in the colony so much with foreign companies. other industries were attracted when it became the capital.. Today, the previous companies attract newer ones, so don't think there was a tinubu/ Yoruba factor there. .. The point is that redundant ppl will remain redundant ppl, a situation where foreign industries abound around u and u still don't have the initiative of industrialization, so u see. Its just like igbos deciding to live in the glory of the foreign ventures in SE too, na f.uck up be that nah. |
drnoel: I neva wanted to say this but think its best I do. Wake-up wake-up and stop dreaming. Biafra was just a bad dream that never happened and will keep being just that,....a bad dream that resulted in the death of more than a million of our brother and the maiming of much more. People talking about biafra has not seen the results of war and so can just open their mouths and spew rubbish.my friend, its actually our fathers who have experienced this war that support Biafra most. Young ppl of these days are mostly undecided sef. But most old ppl I come across embrace Biafra. so, what are u saying |
Eziachi: It is purely down to them, their own absolute choice, where they want to belong or even own their own. Why must they be part of anybody's? Most nations in Europe like Andorra, Luxembourg etc are smaller than them. I hope you dont ask this again and your People obsession With SS and Biafra. Concentrate on what will happen to you and Kwara people, instead of taking phensic for another man's headache, when you got a running belly of your own.Me? ketoprofen, concentrate on kwara? for what kwanu? |
sandijey: What's ur point? Would I also say stop coming to lagos and stay in the east? No tribe is better than any tribe. Everybody has crazy potentials to make it in the absense of one nation so don't think one tribe might have it easy! Everybody is scared about "what next" after the break up. A lot of people would suffer, a lot of people would die, where would dey start from? That to me is where the trouble is, it would take years before each region gets things right. Is it not better we have a regional government! That's y Igbo gene is strong. that's y I bliv tribe pass tribe, hooha. is there anything u mentioned above that didn't happen to igbos after the war? Today, they diversified Nigerian sectors with the least dependence on oil. Guy, form ur own country if ur ppl have balls, regional govt my a55. . what do u mean by a lot of ppl will die, etc. in ur one Nigeria, are ppl not dying from northern crises. After successful division, what exactly will ppl thereafter? Definitely not Igbo ppl. |
sandijey: You guys said d same thing in kano! Better think home andcarry your investments back home and hold ur leaders responsible for not making the east industrialised if not this are d kind of comments u guys would get! Nothing is sure again in naija.Give me the part of Nigeria that has more indigenous industries than anambra and abia. even Emene, Enugu is beginning to rear its head. Keep priding in blue chip companies that send back revenue to the foreign lands while other groups use their god given brains |
Eziachi: No, he was right about talking Biafra of Igbos only because we don't need a repeat of Nigeria, where people were force into a marriage they don't want. If the so called minority wants to join, it will have to be based on their best interests and pure choice, and that includes Igbos anywhere outside what they called SE today.Eziachi is typing from brain o, I no get wetin to type again. |
Orlando Owoh: You are big fool, Ketoprofen. 12 states were created on 27/05/1967, Ojukwu declared Biafra on 30/05/1967.so cross river, akwaibom, bayelsa, rivers were not part of Biafra ' was my question |
The Innoson SUVs are common sight here in Awka. As I entered NNPC Petrol station this morning to refill, I saw about three of it lined up before me.. Most civil servants here in Awka and Anambra at large don't buy 'used cars' anymore most of them are now driving brand new Innoson cars. It has really changed the entire mentality of the masses who now views 'used cars' as a ripe off. Its really a great car.
In Enugu, innoson brand is the number 1 public transport bus brand. As sb suggested, he shd also go into the prod of all these camry-sized cars o, as they are cheaper and generally more used in Nigeria. I luv innoson and for no good reason, I can't watch dis video. Today of all days, my YouTube won't work. OK o. |
Orlando Owoh: Only God knows how long we shall be a laughing stock because of this man. Imagine him say, "Nigeria belonged to statesmen, traditional rulers, religious leaders, men, women and youths." So ordinary Nigerians are nobody in Nigeria.who are men, women and youths? extraordinary citizens? |
FreeGlobe: please mention 5 manufacturing industries in the state of oshunAfter that he should mention all the Yoruba owned industries in the entire Yoruba land. bunch of sore losers. GDP my foot, , thats why poverty is climbing on top of each other in the state |
agbameta: Of what relevance is this to your sorry and miserable village existence?on a serious note, don't Yoruba have hometowns. I mean, y are they ashamed of their villages and states |
cbrass: Pls enough of all this african crap that "behind a succesful man there is a woman" they are all lies, can You tell me the woman that made Mark Zukerberg,Bill-Gates,Dangote,Steve Jobs, etctheir respective girlfriends |
FreeGlobe: God I pray you provide succor to yorubaland so they finally learn how to stop coveting other people's resources. They know yorubas lack resources. The human resources esp. they will use media propaganda to bathe themselves in odua republic |
Segeggs: what have you guys done 4 africa to be called nigeria's backbone? Is it your landlocked area dat nigeria and africa depends on?The biafrans in Nigeria is what is making the nation tick. |
Orlando Owoh: Even the present day Delta State was not part of Biafra. In fact the whole of today's SS was not part of Biafra. By 27 May 1967, South Eastern State (today's Akwa Ibom and Cross Rivers states) was created with U. J. Esuene as Governor; Rivers State (today's Rivers and Bayelsa states) was created with Alfred Diette-Spiff as Governor; and East Central State (today's Enugu, Anambra, Imo, Abia and Ebonyi states) was created with Ukpabi Asika as Administrator. It was only three days later on the 30 of May 1967 that Chukwuemeka Ojukwu declared Biafra.olodo. the Biafra so declared didnt it include rivers, akwaibom, bayelsa and cross river. who was the chief of army then? was he nit efik? All these yorubas sef |
TribalEAST: then why are you people queueing behind gej, an ijaw man?he has political power nah, not a tribal power. |
TribalEAST: the oyel is the reason you want SS to join you dubious people. You gej gives a damn about you people other than re-election? Do you think he has the power to drag the people of SS into that unholy alliance?igboland has much oil in IMO and abia. untapped oil exist in anambra and ebonyi. Igbos have lived off oil proceeds for 43 yrs now, so y do u think Biafra will be so dependent on oil like lazy Nigerians who cannot sustain refineries . Biafra during its war with world powers distilled her own oil but Nigeria in peace times can't. Can u see a diff btw light and dark |
