Wadeoye: Answer the following questions;
- do you agree that corruption has denied Nigeria and Nigerians their rightful place in Africa and the world? - do you agree that millions of Nigerians have died (directly and indirectly) as a result of corruption on the part of our leaders? - do you agree that millions of Nigerians are suffering today as a result of corruption on the part of our leaders?
Tell me what right the government takes away that could be more than corrupt politicians and judges doing the above to us

GBTYO: What is there to like about the dead north? Even western airlines refuse to operate into kano airport. If the op saw it fit to start a propaganda thread promoting the north in the midst of all the carnage we have heard and in my case seen with my own eyes then obviously the north is in desperate need of rebranding. Save your trash for gullible Afonjas who have never stepped out of their region But why are there so many of your people in the north. Like a lot of them As we converse right now a lot of buses from the south east are bringing in your brothers to the north, most aren't likely to go back. If the north is as bad as you're making it out to be why are they willing to die there than return home. Or is the south east a much bigger hell hole than the north? I'm confused here bro. Help a brother out |

redsceptic: You are welcome
http:///top-10-state-with-the-highest-hiv-prevalence-in-nigeria/
The north leads in this 2016 NACA survey with 62.6% cumulative prevalence, South 37.4%. And believe me cause I am a doctor that is a political figure.
This is the 2012 FGN/WHO TB report look at pg 67 http://www.who.int/tb/publications/NigeriaReport_WEB_NEW.pdf . Below is what I got from the NACA site HIV/AIDS Prevalence Rate Rivers - 15.2% Taraba – 10.5% Kaduna – 9.2% Nasarawa – 8.1% FCT – 7.5% Akwa Ibom – 6.5% Sokoto – 6.4% Oyo – 5.6% Benue – 5,6% Yobe – 5.3% Cross River – 4.4% Ondo – 4.3% Gombe – 3.4% Abia – 3.3% Bayelsa – 2.7% Osun – 2.6% Imo – 2.5% Borno – 2.4% Plateau – 2.3% Lagos - 2.2% Jigawa – 2.1% Adamawa – 1.9% Kwara – 1.4% Kogi – 1.4% Kano – 1.3% Enugu – 1.3% Niger – 1.2% Anambra – 1.2% Ebonyi – 0.9% Kebbi – 0.8% Edo – 0.8% Delta – 0.7% Ogun – 0.6% Bauchi – 0.6% Zamfara – 0.4% Ekiti – 0.2% Clearly from the above, high or low HIV prevalence is not a function of region. Rivers, a southern states, tops the prevalence rate by far followed by some northern states and then a mixture of both northern and southern states in the median. At the very bottom are two northern states along with Ekiti. I'm sorry sir but this doesn't support your postulation that north leads in HIV prevalence. Try again |

redsceptic: My brother nobody has hatred for the north. Many many northerners are good people, kind and hospitable. The land is fertile and food is cheap. The roads are wonderful, crime is very low in certain areas. Northerners are not motivated by greed. The women in some cases are celestially beautiful.
But.
North is a ticking time bomb. It has the highest rates of AIDS, TB, and both infant and maternal mortality. IT boasts 10 million homeless children called almajiris. The leaders are more interested in rulership than development. The poor people are brainwashed and live in the stone-age. They are mobilized to mob violence by a simple reference to Islam. They kill people by beheading for tearing a piece of paper. The Nigerian north is akin to Pakistan, Afghanistan or Bangladesh Trouble is brewing can you show me prove that the north has the highest number of people with HIV and TB. I'll be really grateful if you can do that bro. Thanks in advance |

GBTYO: If you have never set your foot in the north then I suggest you don't post on this thread.
My job has taken me to 5 core northern states ; Sokoto, Kano, Katsina, Yobe and Jigawa. I have also been to fringe states like Bauchi, Gombe, Kaduna, Adamawa and Niger and I can tell you authoratively that the north is a sh1thole waiting to explode.
Fringe states like Bauchi, Kaduna, Minna and Gombe are highly volatile because of the sizeable indigenous Christian population.
The Christians live in absolute subjugation under the Hausa Fulani moslem ummah.
Education is totally haram except for the elite and children of civil servants.
Fridays are volatile where Christians keep their movements minimal or restricted from city centres and or into moslem dominated neighbourhoods.
You will stand out like a red neck lizard if you are dressed in kafuri attire.
Unlike in the south where your pocket determines where you can rent or build a house, the north is segregated along sectarian lines.
Vice such as drug abuse, alcoholism, adultery fornication , prostituti0n and sodomy are widespread and the level of hypocrisy stinks.
Widespread desperate poverty greets you everywhere you go from the highbrow residential areas to the walled off Kofar Dorbar districts.
Religion in the form of islam is more like a vice cult than a spiritual movement.
I always heave a heavy sigh when my assignments are through in the north. the fact that this pack of evil lies got likes and endorcement from certain posters just shows the level of bigotry and hate from a particular region of this country. I am certain that this poster and most of his ilk know these are lies, but they perpetuate them anyway as it helps them sleep better at night Be that as it may, threads such as this should never be discouraged; an objective reader out there might be better informed God bless the beautiful north |

Trust me, when you look at this issue deeply, you will understand why some countries give stiffer sentences for drug peddling (they are basically killing the entire society) than murder. |

If you think Giroud's experience and aerial capability is that important, do you think Wenger will play a short Sanchez ahead of him upfront. Arsenal has a striking problem. The fans cried for a striker for so long.
Iheanacho will walk into that squad. With Iheanacho there, Sanchez and Iwobi will play wide. Walcott will bench as he benched for Iwobi last season. Walcott won't sit on the bench for iheanacho. At least not the Walcott of this season. |

As a child i never truly understood that statement but Buhari has finally made me to.
The question isn't if Nigeria army can beat the ND militants in a head on war, the issue is that out of hatred, Buhari has applied a military solution to a problem which sincere dialogue could have easily solved since the idigenes will look at the military power Nigeria is reluctant to use. But Buhari has now plunged Nigeria on the path of slow death by taking rash military action first before dialogue. So unless he can totally defeat the ND militants, the dialogue will not work....and he knows he cannot totally defeat the militants.. because they will not fight him directly, but will target his pocket through the oil installations.[/size] you were actually making sense with your US-Russia mutual assured destruction thing until you ended up blaming Buhari for the actions of the militants. |
