greenhulk: Only in Nigeria will someone bustle to get money and some lazy bums will be online teaching him on how and how not to spend his money. It's his money for God's sake, it's nobody's business how he spends it because nobody here knows how he got the money. seriously the iphone 7 starts at $650 just like every other flagship phones, why are people making so much noise about this? Galaxy Note 7 starts from $800 , the pone explodes and people are not making too much noise about it. I dont know when it has become a crime for someone to spend $650 of his hard earned money on a phone. you are minding the business of those minding others business. trust me, you ain't any better. |
Family › Re: Escaping US Alimony By Moving To Naija by KevinDein: 8:47am On Sep 18, 2016 |
ebonflex: You don't know what you are saying. For the sake of your children, Nigeria will never become a place where a coded runs girl can marry your son today, divorce him the next month for absolutely no reason (i.e. no-fault divorce), take his home/car/etc...and then force him to legally pay her 60% -70%% of his earnings for the rest of his life till death. Typical Nigerian thinking is that "everything US does is good". You know nothing. Men here in yankee are getting wiser and a lot of them are simply refusing to play the game anymore. The foolishness of a lot of women in the US have brought about an entire generation of men who just refuse to marry ever. Much to the dismay of the women, because then they have no power to work with. No foothold for extended manipulation. They won't feel it now because all this feminazi bullshit is still relatively new, but they will feel it a few years from now in the next generation when there are more old people than young people. You even see cases here whereby THE WOMAN CHEATS, but it doesn't stop her from clearing the guy out and keeping him as her financial slave for life, paying for the house his ex-wife is busy humping other men in while he is so broke he is living in the equivalent of a boys quarters somewhere and barely affording to eat. You better think before you speak before you invite the evils of this land to your sons over there. wanna know why the western society not sympathetic to vulnerable men? Because downed men do not compete for females very well. Men sell out so they can get to be "real" men. Also, Male politicians today are aware that women make up the majority of the vote and also that younger women are more likely to be swinging voters. Male politicians understand this from their focus groups and research that modern women sense they can have it all. So male politicians have adopted the stereotype that men are really animals (except enlightened male politicians of course) and therefore justify making policies that are never sympathetic to men's needs and human rights. |
Family › Re: Daddy Why? by KevinDein: 9:23am On Sep 17, 2016 |
5minsmadness: Really?
I was taught on this forum that single parents raise children who are just as well-adjusted as children from a complete family. Hence you can divorce your partner at the drop of a hat, after-all its your happiness as a person that is important, damn what your children or anyone else thinks. Maybe the girl was pretending to cry?
We come online and spew all kinds of rubbish and state foolish statistics when in truth we know what really happens in the world. Children need both thier parents to have a fulfilled life, take it or leave it. You are not fit to be a parent if you leave your marriage at the smallest inclination. This goes for both men and women. Your happiness as a parent is not paramount, you have a responsibility to your children, you are not a child in a candy store selfishly taking whatever sweet catches your fancy because "it is your life". Putting yourself first in life is selfish and foolish and immature and if everyone around you acted the same way, being selfish, the world would be a colder darker place.
Love is not meant to be kept to oneself. Love is meant to be shared. If you cannot forgive your partner, the one you married with pomp and pageantry, the one you claim to love with your whole heart, if you cannot forgive that one when he or she greviously sins against you, if you would rather destroy everything both of you have built by walking away, then your love has no value. Your declared love is useless and worthless. You are all mouth and no action.
It would have been better if you were never a parent. wow, man. You just won the Internet man of the day. |

Gozzzy: , it pays to think before talking, not after talking!!!! Igbos supported GEJ, not cos he did anything for us, but cos he is a Southerner!!!!! GEJ did absolutely NOTHING for South East, we just don't have the mind to betray Fellow Southerners, no matter the Southern Zone the person is from... unlike the treacherous afonjass that will not only betray southerners, but will also betray themselves!!! South East has always been shortchanged by the Nigerian government since time immemorial, that's why we keep saying we wanna leave!!!! So, if ur brain isn't functional yet, why not shut the hole in ur face, till it is!!!! So basically what you are saying is that you voted GEJ because he's from the south not because of any record of competency Bad roads, inadequate amenities, job creation etc all don't matter as long as who ever is in power is from the south, you are OK with that,eh? |

Pray tell, what are the privileges of dating you are talking about in your post and is the man the only one enjoying those privileges? The day she came to visit me in a room and parlour with no Chair, TV, etc. just a bed in my room. I told her my dreams she believed me and gave me the chance to prove myself.
Today, we have made a lot of things happened in our lives. 2 lovely kids, Landed properties, 2 units of 3 bedrooms flats on different land. One at lintel, to be roof soon the other at foundation level and still counting.
I don't take her word for a joke for a seconds...before we started building our recent 3 bedrooms, I told her is high time with bought car, she said no that we should finish our house before anything car. U know what, I obeyed without blinking. she encourage me a lot especially when I lost my job.

Lol, igbos crying that their shops are been demolished, when they find it difficult to rent out a shop for you in their land let alone owning one. Heck, on an old thread they were really proud of themselves for practicing what they termed group economics . Ultimately, what they implied was that even if they somehow rent out a shop for you in their land they are not likely to patronize you; frustrating you out of business in the process. I've never seen a group of people who proudly practice what they openly condemn others for doing. Outstanding hypocrisy there. These days though, no one takes them seriously. The anonymity of the internet has allowed them to show their true colors for the whole world to see. God bless the internet |
