OoDVanguard: Dude, you sound like a typical coward. The Abuja you are hyping has ghettos like kpadna village, Garki village right in the heart of Abuja itself. But you would rather bash Lasgidi. Abeg while you're entitled to your opinion, be mindful that it ain't worth shyt. bro, that's your problem. Any sane person knows abuja is streets ahead of Lagos, and I still maintain, there's no basis for comparisons. The only people that could even think a debate should be held on which of the two cities is better are mostly yorubas and/or people born and brought up in lagos. Any neutral knows Abuja trumps lagos. This is not hating, this is me stating the undiluted truth. |

arushiuga: Lagos is a very depressing city. The pig smell, the traffic, the horrible odour. The roads are death traps. Any body who says eko ni baje dosen't know what spoil really means. Lagos stinks like a decomposing rat in the bedroom. Anyone who quotes me negatively is an idiot well said man. Lagos stinks, literally, big time. Some dude up there is posting pics of selected areas that do not make up to 40% of the entire city. We are not deceived. Some of us have been there seen it and know there is better life in several other Nigerian cities. |
Politics › Re: Lagos And Abuja, Which Is A Better City? by KevinDein: 4:41pm On Aug 29, 2016 |
I just can't stop laughing, mehhn. How can anyone even compare Lagos to Abuja? Abuja is miles miles ahead there shouldn't even be a debate. As a matter of fact I will choose most Nigerian cities over Lagos any day any time. Amazing how some folks hype up Lagos. If I hadn't been there I would have easily fallen for the hype |

We are talking a total of 1.6-1.7 million. Factoring in the required two-year payment and agent and agreement. With that amount I can build a 2-3 bedroom flat in my village and probably start up a decent poultry farm. There I could a live a simple decent life devoid of all hustle and bustle and stress City (Lagos) life is vastly overrated |

khaymillers: sorry to bust your bubbles. Fulani's are the most uneducated or. Let me say northerners so don't border calling names. Those names you mentioned are just politicians not people who succeeded education wise. How many books have theY written. If you want a rich role model, you can take them but when it comes to education, those names are not role models. I think you are forgeting the western nigeria when it comes to Education. North has nothing what's the point in being so educated and writing so many books when you can put it in practice and better the lots of the average man? Ekiti, for example, claims to have professors in almost every home yet their standard of living is probably among the lowest in the country. |

OPCNAIRALAND: I question your brilliance if you struggled with fulani for top position in academics. Seriously! this is how a typical south Westerner thinks. Similar way a very dumb Yoruba girl was telling me that it's corpers from the south that are developing and running the North. She said that's what her dad told her. Shiitss I had to put up with when living in that ghetto called Lagos. Very ignorant, yet arrogant. |

why do you want Nigeria to remain one by force, despite your reluctance to develop a progressive way of life, shelve religious bigotry and open to dialogue? you love Nigeria but doesn't want to take the rope to peace, prosperity and progress.
silly hypocrites! cute how this Mr. here thinks it's Fulanimafia who is irrational in his posts even though his fellow southern bigots spend their entire time here on nairaland posting ignorant rubbish Also notice how he ended his post with "silly hypocrite" which, in all honesty, is an apt description of himself. |

Family › Re: America's Hypocrisy-Gay & Incest(american Mom, Son In Love Charged With Incest) by KevinDein: 2:09pm On Aug 11, 2016 |
eyinjuege: I think the reason incest is frowned upon is the genetic disorders that usually accompanies offsprings of such unions. Just my opinion There was a time in history when siblings did marry/procreate together. Cleopatra was said to have married her younger brother. Still in ancient Egypt, the Pharaoh - King Tut and is it Queen Neferetti. But let's not be deceived, incest happens within us here in Naija. We have heard of fathers impregnating daughters. They just aren't brazen enough to expose themselves, just as we have homosexuals in Nigeria who haven't come out yet to the world OK. So why is polygamy frowned upon in the west even though all parties involved are not hurting anyone (the argument they seem to always chip in when defending homosexuality)? Let's face it, the west is quite hypocritical and confused at the same time. |

Can you just see that those supporting the unclothed ness of the Germans are the so called Christians who probably go to church every Sunday. So my question is simple; What exactly do Christians learn in churches these days since they see nothing wrong in immoralities and are always coming up with ridiculous arguments to back up what is blatantly wrong.
I've not been to church in a while and obviously I'd say I'm better off not going |

Femich18: Ignorance? Lol...I have stayed in the north and just moved back to Lagos recently Xo please tell me another joke oh Mr. Femi where in the North did you stay? Is it a representation of the entire North? I've also lived in Lagos. Places like makoko, somolu, ajegunle etc do not seem like places where educated people reside. Poor sanitation and all. But I will only be up to some mischief to judge the entire South West using those places as yardstick. That's exactly what you are doing. That's what you guys do the entire time on nairaland. And that's why I question the quality and standard of Education in the South. Hopefully Mr. Femi gets my point |

closerange: I looked to see whether some smart fella was going to reply you but none did, so here goes.... For an argument to make sense, one has to be consistent, consistency here implies that we stick to the subject matter and not deviate... Now the 0p opined that the issue of bridepricee ought to be reconsidered if the girl is used up, my friend up there even made the job easier by stating the significance of brideprice which is purity..... Now since the girl isn't so pure after all, isn't it right we forget about the brideprice and just move on? Now your point about whether the man is pure himself fails under logical scrutiny because as far as I know, women are not required to pay anything for the man.... The best way out of this conundrum should be men paying bride price for the pure ladies while ladies pay same for the pure man (since you are suddenly interested in male purity).... And in a situation where we are both impure, as is most often case, nobody gets to pay anything.... Do you have anything against this perfect arrangement? fantastic But unfortunately man you are wasting your time as here on nairaland logic isn't a forte for most. I can assure you that none of these ladies will be able to counter this post of yours |

Why are the North scared to be on their own with their landmass?
