ferdimako: why don't u read d previous pages?Bros, It's 170 pages! It would be nice of you if you could help by giving me the info or dropping the exact page number to start from. 170 pages is a lot of pages na! |
xtervaganza: To kevoh and the other guys rapping about phones, class and price; I say kudos to you its been a while I see matured arguements with valid points and no insults....It's refreshing to know you are learning the good stuff i.e the right way to debate! Keep it up bro. ![]() |
Capital NO! Forget trust for now, think of what he can do in the future if the relationship turns sour! |
kevoh: Hello House,Oya na, make una help me out. Don't just read the post and ignore... |
Slami101: Don't waste ur time opening treads like this....u want begin compare ronaldo and messi stats with mikel own? For ur information that will be his first and last goal for chelsea dis season# FACTBro, laugh it off. Where's your sense of humour na? Haba, it's just a joke that's actually true in 2014. |
Lol |

It is well Bro. It is actually your money and I can never spend it for you but I still maintain that Techno is a CRASE that will still phase out. Trust me! |
Idrismusty97: I know what you are getting at.Your perception of people using a low budget phone is that there are all poor. That is a false perception. What will you say of a person earning millions but is still using a java phone(Someone very close to me is in this category).Electronic gadgets especially phones should be purchased base on your personal needs not because of your earnings. The more you earn doesn't mean the more expensive things you most buy.Bro, you are wrong about my perception. I have a cousin who earns more than me but still uses Techno. Does that make him poorer? My stance on this is derived from the fact that most Techno users tend to rub it on the face of other mobile phone users that they got a cheap lower quality android phone that can perform almost the same basic function as their expensive quality android phone and have wasted money in buying such expensive phones hence the need for starting unnecessary threads like this. Go back and read the original post on the first page. This is why I am saying it's a phone crase that will still phase out. |
brilapluz:None taken bro! I respect your opinion too. |
You must be kidding rite. You think even up to 1percent of Nigerians can afford to spend up to 70k or 100k on a phone? Or you think it is everybody's daddy that is stealing naija money? Nigerian minimum wage is still 18k the last time I checked.
brilapluz: you call buying a fone of 150k class...comon..dats ridiculous...wats d point wasting ur moni on a smart fone dat loses its value in months...bros tink na..dats not reasonable..well,like i said, its ur opinion...CLASS means different tins 2 different people and u just stated urs but dont use ur meaning 2 judge odas...bill gates company microsoft recorded,in terms of revenue, billions of dollars in 2007,yet he went ahead and bought a 1999 beetle..pls dont use ur own definition 2 judge odas..dats wrong!!!You both are still missing the point. Check my first post on this thread.I don't have any beef with any Techno user just saying not every one using Techno today or any cheap low end device for that matter will remain using cheap phones. Their lives would have changed in few years to come same with their buying power (income earned) some would have new and better jobs, promotions, business boom except you have the belief that Man must remain in the same poor level for years to come. E.g I know a carpenter who was able to buy a car just after 3 to 4 years same with the barber in front of my house. Is that not levels don change? @brillapulz Bill gates no be Nigerian! Stop talking as if you don't know what happens when an average class Nigerian suddenly hits money. |
Idrismusty97: This is one of the best post i have see on this thread so far. Please this is enough for the person you quoted, don't waste your time with him any further. We don't know where life can take us.The tecno of 2010 is no longer the tecno of today. Please answer this question sincerely and not just drag it for arguement sake, if your life suddenly changes and you started earning better than your present position let's say 500 grand per month(minus commissions and bonus) and you have to meet with clients that ooze top class and correct swag daily, would you still get a device considered to be low end and cheap like tecno? |
brilapluz: my broda dats ur opinion about dose using tecno fone..as 4 me i will never use 70k to 100k 2 buy a liability dat can,in a year drop 2 35k or 30k...as 4 tecno, dey r tryn and yes, there will be improvements during d coming months and years cos no smart fone is prefect..am sure most people who first bought nokia 3310 4 more dan 60k den believed dey had bought d best fone moni cud buy..It's my opinion quite alright but don't worry wait till you start earning good money you will understand what I am saying. I'm not of talking of salary ooo, do you know some people earn double their salary monthly based on commission and some other stuffs they do plus their salary of 100 to 150k? Meaning they can spare a 100 to 150 grand for flexing per month without touching their salary. If you were one of those, a 120k phone is nothing. Think big bro! Don't assume everyone is on the same level! If you had the money I tell you bro you'll buy 'CLASS' no matter how dumb it might sound. Some don't even have the money but still try to be classy. Yes those who bought 3310 @ 60k and above thought so but they didn't downgrade to a lesser phone they moved on to the next top phone. It's called 'CLASS' . |
The Tecno crase is a phase, it will pass and fade into oblivion especially when this present Tecno generation start earning better income and can actually afford to spend 70k to 100k on a phone, it will happen don't say never! By then the quality phones, the BB10s,the Samsungs, the HTCs and Nokia will be either sold at second hand price or handed over to younger siblings to use. |
LizzyAnn:Madam, I believe a self con is One room+One Kitchen+Toilet. |
opalu: DAYSTAR SHELTER Ltd is a global housing giant that is solving this menace this year by building 1 million high quality LOWCOST houses in Abuja that will be sold directly †̥☺ the lower and middle class at the price range of N500,000 -N3,000,000 under the Housing Transformation Project (HTP) of the present administration. How do you plan to determine the true lower and middle class? We have seen cases like yours where one man purchases up to 1000 units of these low cost houses and resell to the real lower and middle class at a higher price range. |
Good! Let them learn how to save and use their money judiciously ,when they grow up they will manage their country better! Same should be applied to 9ja kids! |

Hello House, I would like to apply for a Master's degree course (Information Technology) in NOUN and expecting to start early this year if possible. I have checked the website but info gathered there is not so helpful for a 2014 applicant. My questions are: 1. What are the steps taken to start my application? 2. Is it possible for me to start my program in February or March? 3. When does a session usually start? pardon my naivety,I don't know if these questions have been asked in previous pages but I would be grateful if the good house could help out. Thanks a lot! |
See marketing for Edo state. You be government official. The problem with destinations in Nigeria is not the destination but "how to get there" Travel by Road - deal with armed robbers or accident via bad roads, Travel by Air - Na by Gods grace Travel by water - eh if you try use atlantic, Niger delta boyz go kidnap you
Air transport is actually the safest, fastest and stress free means of transport. |
luluosas: Forgive my ignorance please. But to me, I don't see how you will be expecting Bumpa sales when you have the poorest of service/products. Thank you.The 70/30 strategy is a well known strategy applied around the world with proven results of success. But in the case of Glo you are quite right with less bumper sales due to poor service/products. I would advice the OP to readjust his lifestyle to the 70% and start looking for better options. |
There's nothing weird here na! ![]() |
70/30 to the best of my knowledge is when you are paid 70% of your salary and the remaining 30% is paid as commission only if you achieve certain monthly goals/targets. This method is applied mainly in sales/marketing departments. This strategy is normally used to ginger organizations to boost sales, revenues, customers e.t.c. But the OP seem to be painting the 70/30 scheme as a bad thing. Anyway I don't work in Glo so I would reserve my comment, ''Only the wearer knows where the shoe pinches'' |
Withdrawal method has been the best since 10 000 BC, just learn to control yourself, shikena! |
Na wa for this kind of front page thread for early 2014. Any way the bolded part in the quoted post says it all. tony9k: While it is a big challenge to prevent individuals from displaying racist tendencies the major issue is how the law or governments respond to such behaviour. In the two countries it is a crime to be racist and there have been numerous cases of prosecution. Can we say the same thing about the law in African countries on display of tribal tendencies or nepotism. It does not appear to be a criminal act. The tribal comments displayed on NL is unbelievable. Just a food for thought. |
