If we all run to America who will repair Nigeria for us and for the future generations? . |
bizmania: Good morning every one. Thanks @Mr Kevoh and @Quantum physics....ure such a bright guy... Pls I want to understand a few things...I'm @ d site as soon as I get to the office I will answer your question except someone else answers before me. |
Abu Mikey:He actually made the right choice. Two things are definitely going to happen to him if he didn't return: 1. He dies of cold 2. He gets caught, rearrested and thrown back into jail with his sentence extended and maybe this time a maximum security. |
quantum physics: sorry to differ here monsieur kevoh but top schools such as MMA(Moscow medical academy), Lomonosov Moscow state Uni., MIPT, Kyiv technical Uni, Cuban medical colleges hold written/oral interview for all prospective students national and international. You are quite right but remember I am speaking with reference to countries using the french system these are countries I am familiar with, the francophone countries on your list not Russia or Cuba and engineering in particular. I also mentioned to get into those Top schools in the French speaking countries you will write an exam (Concours). Competition to get admission into these Top schools is quite high both for local and international and this applies to those who intend to study Medicine too and probably in other countries like quantum has stated. I know everyone wants to be in Russia or Cuba but it's sad that not all applicants will get Russia/Cuba, FSB has a target number of applicants for each countries so brace up for any disappointments. Besides it is not the country that counts but how you manage to succeed individually. |
nwgoziri: D more u talk abt it,d more u promote him nd his ministry This one is definitely an un-chosen member. I expect more members to turn up soon to bash all on this thread. ![]() |
ysamo: . Oga kevoh considerin d exams written afta d linguistic classes,I knw M nt in positn 2 ask dat naw bt jst wnt 2 knw,is it related 2 d field u ar goin 2 study? Asin if u ar 2 study biochem den d exams will comprise of biology, chemistry etcNope. The exam will be about the language only. You are asked Biochem stuff only when you are taught Biochem stuff which of course is when you start your main course of study after the language year. |
Criss Angel will pull a better resurrection perfomance than all these fake un-chosen members . Even Police go dash the guy all their N50 roger collection for the whole week. |
Please be wary of things that will give you translation wahala. Some host countries might run a different education system different from the typical British method Nigeria is used to. You will get to meet people who are not exposed when you return to Nigeria and start doing stuffs like applying for jobs, NYSC e.t.c I had a hell lot of time convincing the man at NYSC HQ that my Maitrise is an equivalent to a Bsc ,though when translated it means Master's degree, and he kept on asking for my Bachelor's degree certificate. |
For those engineers going to french speaking countrie like Tunisia, Algeria and Morocco,'Ecole des Inginieurs' are prestigious schools in the french system. You might have to take 'concours' (Test like UTME/JAMB) to scale through or be contented with the Universities that you will be placed into if you don't want these 'Ecoles'. Whatever you do avoid any school that has 'Institut' as a name. You may ask why? Funny enough Institut are good schools too but the problem arises when you graduate and you want to translate your certificate and they translate it as Polytechnic. We all know that in Nigeria Poly grads and Uni grads have different treatments. |
pampam: @quantum physics, do we select the uniersities, or they do that for us, God bless you for this.In addition to quantum's advice about the language class, you really need to do well in learning the language of your host country in the first year because you will definitely be taught in the official language it doesn't matter wether you're doing Medicine, Engineering or Social Sciences. All will be taught in the official language . The first year i.e language year is very critical, yes you might learn how to speak the language partially and scale the exam but have you really learnt it? Of what use is speaking when you can't even write well? You can't compose good sentences? E.t.c |
Dipland:You truly don't have any thing to say. #Unfollows the thread# |
Instead of butter or mayonaise spread on bread try Avocado pear. It tastes great and better that butter/mayonaise in terms of health benefits. |
Dipland: For all of you that think I am Mr. Fireman, hmmmmmmmm you are all daft and very slow to understanding the fact that the police said they arrested him and I am very sure he is still in custody because of the nature of the case! MURDER for all the daft people! . Fireman has resorted to insults and swearing MURDER, chei talk of a pathetic loser tactics.Dipland: Secondly, if i am follower, please I will not be as unfaithful as you all sound! I will defend him to my teeth especially when the story seems so fabricated as this one!Bros, stop LYING. You have been supporting/defending his actions since February 2013, all your previous posts indicate so. Do not make it look like you started doing that on this particular thread. LYING is another tactic of a pathetic loser. |
DJDOLA: gbenu ose e soun joor ![]() |
Saimeritus: he is presently doing his language course at vonorezh technical university russia. lots of enjoyment dey that tin o,take off grant of $2000,monthly allowance of $1000 from the federal government and 1650 rubles from russian government.Take off grant is normal, even when you finish your studies you still get another grant to take you back home. I don't know what they call that one. So the monthly allowance don reach $1000...lol . Make I sharply born my pikin send am go do FSB scholarship. Meanwhile it's that enjoyment I'd like to caution people over. It's easy to get distracted and lose focus because of the freedom you get at that young age. |
Dipland: Now I am Mr. Fireman! You must be very confused. You don't even know where you are directing your aggression to! You are just too emotional and very confused that you don't know what your problem is. Think and write objectively!Take a chill pill Mr. Fireman/Dipland. It's a faceless forum and anyone can claim to be who they are not/who they are. But when you have 98% of your posts since February 2013 frantically defending Mr.Fireman as if your daily bread depended on it, be damn sure people would assume you are him. Aggression? Don't make laugh, Fireman. Emotional and confused. Kai, the laughter don increase. You certainly don't know what to say. Don't worry I can't spoil church business( abi na Game) for your Master,Mr.Fireman, there are too many gullible people in Nigeria who will believe him even if he declares that he's a complete FRAUD on national TV. |
Quantum, we had a 17 year old chic in my set. I don't know how FSB did it but she did well. She works somewhere in south-south now, I won't mention the name, for privacy sake. I would have adviced you to apply but I don't know what the rules are these days. They might be strict on the age thing now compared to my time. |
quantum physics: unfortunately, i'm not applying this year, i'm still 17, thanks for your advice though.Lol, I'm back already. I've been in Nigeria almost 5 to 6 years now.Done my NYSC, got a job and planning to get married, lol. Do you mean to say you don't want to return when you're done with your studies? Well it's up to you.Almost all of my colleagues are doing well(my set), Some are doing extremely well working in Schlumberger, Chevron, SEC(security exchange commission) e.t.c others are doing ok they might not be in big organisations but they got jobs which is the most important. Please, don't let me derail the purpose of this thread. Right now it should be all about passing the aptitude test or getting the complete documents. That is why I said I will give out some info around September/October whe you guys have been selected. |
Dipland: Classic Nigerian!Mr.Fireman/Dipland, that poster/flier is classic! It has nothing to do with my belief that you are a big FRAUD. On a lighter note, I know a Pasta company (name witheld) that will need your marketing skills to increase sales. It is your actions that scream FRAUD. By the way where is 'firegirl' ? I hope you guys have not used her for any thing sinister in your church. |
nora544: He or she is one of his followers that is sure because i try something at his facebook side to ask if the story is tru, and two hours later my message was deleted, so there are still some people who work for him and I am sure one is here also on nairaland.Seen the documentary, will search for it again on youtube and upload to this thread as soon as I can lay my hands on my laptop. I am also expecting 'firegirl' another Mr.Fireman moniker to come and defend this fraudulent man. |
Well.. Ehn don price bad market. Okija_juju has been sent by the gods to expose him further.
Lol...I won't be surprised if he creates another profile to defend this one. |
Dipland is certainly Mr.Fireman! check his profile about 12 posts dating Feb 2013 all defending fireman except one post. |
Wether this allegation against him is true or not, one thing I am 100% sure of is that Mr. Fireman is a complete fraud . You don't need a soothsayer to tell you that he is. That poster with 'all the hot girls in lagos' is classic. ![]() |
quantum physics: First of all, i want to thank you for gracing this thread with your contributions. You are most welcome, quantum physics. Please, you people should focus on passing the aptitude test and interview(if any), don't get carried away by the mention of $500 and any other money you will be collecting. There are going to be a lot of rumours and hearsays flying around. Just focus on passing and getting to the next stage. @ysamo When you get there, try to apply for summer internships when possible. That is the route to practical experience and boosting your CV. |
ysamo: . 9ce1 bro.pls jst wnt 2 ask,wen u registered urs whc course did u applied, country nd poSsibly year tnx bro as dis answer will help som1 desperatelyI applied for electrical engineering. Out of the three choices for countries I selected none was given to me, That's Russia, Greece and Spain. Yes in my time we had Spain. I think only one applicant got Spain. Russia was a battle as a lot of people wanted it. I got a francophone country instead and I'm grateful for that. I Speak French now, that's one of the advantages of this scholarship you get to learn the official language of your host country. I'm not in tune with how selections are being done this days but there's no need for 'desperation', just be calm and focus on succeeding each stage FSB puts out to you. That's the most important thing. I'll bring out some other important points but that's later in the year around September/October insha allah, when you guys are good to go. |
quantum physics: Undergraduate requirementsThough I had 5 B's but in my time I didn't think there were much stress on the distinctions. You guys are lucky, I heard the monthly stipend has been increased to $500 per month during my time it was $300 dollars lol. We na Old skool .The stipend wasn't regular, it could be late by 5 - 6 months so be ready to spend wisely as there might be tough times but don't worry the money would still come and you get paid what you are owed. My host country also paid us a certain amount monthly about $100. Anyway, good luck to the best of applicants, when you get to your chosen countries please make sure you make us (old school) and Nigeria proud. Don't get carried away by parties and boyfriend/girlfriend matter. |
daddymuna: you so called graduates drivers are over greedy and lazy. you should have done the original job that you were employed for at least 2 years, gain the experience first before seeking for lazy office jobs. That has been the problem with most graduates. they tot that after graduation, they sit in big, cozy office n use pen to siphon cash. let me tell you the truth, Dangote group used that ploy to know those that have zeal and entrepreneurship acumen.GBAM! Thank you o jare. I am still surprised how some on this thread have not seen the big picture already. It's all about the lazy attitude of the graduates not tribal or any witchhunting scheme by Dangote. |
jude33084: This topic is criminal and should not be encouragedExactly! Where did we go wrong? We have lost integrity totally. This same people shout church/mosques everyday, na wa o. It might seem like a small crime that affects no one but it is this same attitude that Nigerians have transferred to other daily activities. I am even more disappointed at the Moderator that is encouraging such 419 attitude by bringing it to the fronpage. |
Paretomaster: Wat realy pissed d company off is that while ppl applied for d conversion, they abandoned d driving attachment training, many don't even show up for months unless there is an emergency, dis mak som ppl report to d Director dat dis ppl are collecting salaries without doing anything, so dey called for driving test, and all of them failed d test, so they use that as a yardstick, d management have their lapses, but d Graduate drivers gave them a loophole.Sounds more like the actions of typical graduates today. Most do not want to work, all they want is salary at the end of the month without doing any serious work other than browsing using office internet or chatting on different social media on their phones. When severe actions are taken against them they begin to cry Wolf just like the OP and that 70/30 man from Glo. |
Oya e don do, you guys should give the boy a break . And for those shouting deliverance, abeg stop putting unnecessary fear into the boy jare. Deliverance my foot! Jerrick don't stress yourself you learn from your mistakes that is what makes you a man. |
ferdimako: but that is ur only sweat.u hav to give it that shot....I can't toil for u or u go to d paid students' counselor.we can't keep repeating here, read from my handle or 20 pages back from page 170.Never mind ![]() |
It was not a SLICE just saw the picture, it is more like a cut just like the type you get when you fall from a bike. |

, is your IQ this low? I was trying to explain the case going on as a murder case!
. You don't need a soothsayer to tell you that he is.
