It is more a psychological thing. Your friend needs a psychologist. Your friend has this idea/belief which he has nursed over time after being discharged from the hospital and his mind is now messing up with him. From a scientific standpoint, I doubt if there is any scientific evidence that supports this idea if any one has seen any, he should kindly bring it forward so we all can learn from it. If such idea were true, I'm certain receiving blood donation from the top richest business men and philanthropists in the world go make sense na.

Don't lose sleep over those threads. The phrases I have ''bolded'' pretty sums up what all the noise is all about and leads nowhere than bunch of people throwing emotions everywhere. I am not promoting atheism here. I am simply saying that Pentecostalism and many other religion that thrive on the subjective are adding nothing to science and modern thinkers have no time for such nonsense. I am also saying that the true Christian faith is highly intellectual. It appeals to the mind as it convinces the sinner of a need for a Savior.

It is a good move. It is even a positive sign for those of you that have sex without protection, those deceiving themselves about withdrawal method and most importantly those couples not yet ready to father a child that conception did not take place in the previous cycle. Common dude. I am beginning to suspect u are not being truthful urself. U want to claim u don't know Pastor Ogundare? Or Olusola Areogun? Or the loves domain peeps? Common. U have to know one of those names he mentioned or ur story should be followed with caution. These are people JCCF or any other fellowship invite almost every time every year.

I could not just abandon the faith, I had to fight to keep it alive. So from being a leader in my fellowship, I humbled myself and left the fellowship to join the Life Oasis Church (Dream Center) in Akure. The year was 2011.
Then Pastor Charlse was the man Pastor Olusola areogun sent to establish the church in Akure.

I believed I needed to retrace my step and be a student of the bible to regain my conviction of faith.

I became a student and disciple under Pastor charlse. The church was behind Chicken republic Futa Junction.

I remember being taught fundamental things as if I was never a giant in the works of the spirit, but all that did not matter to me. All I wanted was to fall in love with christ all over again. I wanted to be taught like a child again.

I must confess pastor charlse was a great teacher. I remember how he opened his home to us and how much time he spent with us sharing the word of God with us. Nuturing us. This was despite him being a medical doctor and barely having enough time for himself and family, yet he gave it all for us.

The picture of the Reverend Olusola and his wife is boldly posted on the home page.

There's a certain Pastor Charles Abiona among the list of Pastors in that church. Picture attached below. Could this be the Pastor Charles whom HardMirror was a disciple under his tutelage?

He also stated that this Pastor Charles started a church branch which is located behind a certain chicken republic. I have also attached a picture of such address picked from life of oasis international church website.

All these I have been able to do with a simple google search. While I am not holding a brief for HardMirror, I didn't need to be a FUTARIAN to confirm some of the names he has posted.

Theproudinfidel please settle down and complete your story at your own pace even if it will take a year. It's your thread and your story. Ignore Ad hominems and red herrings please, they will only serve in distracting.

Questions 1 to 5 were not directed at me so I won't tackle them but let me quickly tackle the hasty generalisation.

1. Some scientists might be atheists but not all atheists are scientists. There are theists who happen to be scientists, albeit very intelligent ones e.g Ben Carson but somehow block out and refuse to accept confirmed scientific proofs whenever it is in conflict with their religion.

2. The Big Bang Theory is not an atheistic theory/dogma/doctrine. Some christians believe the theory. Some christians try to reconcile the theory with the Jewish creation story. Heck, the Big Bang theory was propunded by a christian, a Catholic priest. Some atheists don't even know what the theory is and some do not even care, all they ask for incontrovertible evidence that the god/deity you are pushing in everyone's face is the real one.

Just a side note and for future sake, next time your phone falls in water, pull out the battery immediately and allow to dry. You risk shortcircuiting and damaging the phone every second you keep it on and use it. A car's dashboard during a hot afternoon will dry it faster under 30 mins. It's refreshing to see a NL christian @GeneralTee post comments which is not any way in favour of atheism but in a very mature way and devoid of insults. I can certainly discuss with people like that. Sadly, a certain group of christians on Nairaland are the masters of ad hominems. (A few NL atheists are guilty of these too ) You do not counter arguments with ad hominems, while it may look that you are good at insulting every person you meet you still have not addressed the message or the argument the atheist is making hence, the below quote:

The fire messengers are powerless! Law is not based on emotions ogbeni. The judge has considered the evidences and passed the land to the rightful owners. Fire Messengers can starve fast and scream fire from now till eternity nothing will happen. The letter then proceeded with demands by the land owners. Similarly, the letter demanded the immediate payment of 40 per cent of the total cost of the acreage agreed upon.

But these demands, Mr. Sadik told SaharaReporters, have been met with indifference. According to him, Mr. Olukoya is unwilling to negotiate with the landowners. He, however, warned that the owners are keen on enforcing the court ruling and taking full possession of the land.

"We have written to Dr. Olukoya over 10 times, and it is like he is not ready for settlement. He set up a committee, which was headed by Pastor Alewi, to look into the matter and our follow-up investigation shows that the report of the committee has got to Dr. Olukoya. But we have not heard any positive comment from him. In fact, his body language does not suggest he is ready to pay any money for the land belonging to my client," Mr. Sadik said. He explained that he met with representatives of the church on 8 October, but Mr. Olukoya was not at the meeting.

Sir, your style of making observation is ludicrous. Who doesn't know that miracles are fraud/staged? If you frequent Karu, Nyanya and Mararaba axis or have people living there, there will be no way you would not have heard about this fraud of a Pastor! His posters still don many streets and roads despite this particular crime. Anyway, he is not the first Pastor fraudster to have been caught red handed and still have ignorant people running to their church.

As a Nigerian parent or guardian (living in Nigeria) would you allow your stubborn/bad/wayward child after countless pieces of advice to be taught a lesson of life as provided in the video below in order to prevent him from ending in jail. Should the Nigerian government implement such programs for teenagers in the slum?
