Nice one from the Dangote groups. Nigeria is bound for greater heights.

Buhari has layed the foundation for a prosperous Nigeria while Tinubu will take us to the promise land.

With Tinubu, Nigeria shall soon become one of the most powerful Nation in the world.

Tinubu is our choice for President

Your making Tinubu campaign reward based instead of issue based.

Try and make the campaign about solutions not because he formed political parties and made people governors and senators then we should vote him.

Multiple tax upon tax, nothing to show for it because fraudsters are on top.

Treasure single account TSA introduced by Buhari govt is now irrelevance as they've started appointing treasurers to money making ministries all because of excess fraud in town.
Fear 9ja!!?

It wasn’t introduced by Buhari government, don’t give him credit for what he can’t understand.

Technology Market / Re: Go Solar Today With Low Budget by Kfed4ril(m): 11:56pm On May 12, 2022
Hunsamenu:

Firstly, it’s the capacity of your gadgets(W) and the hours of usage that will determine how long the system will last you.

Having 600w panels in total will make your system charge fully in about 4-5 hours using solar and more or less 3hrs using nepa.

This system power bank is 2400w like that . so assuming your loads(laptop and computer monitor) are 300w in total, the system will last you for about 8hrs without charging it when it’s fully charged.

I think 8 hours is poor, I had this laptop PowerBank that lasted upto 15hours on full charge.

They will or they will sell close to OPEC prices.

Because there will be private entities drilling for crude and exporting it at international proces and NNPC exploration arm has to pay its workers equivalent salaries to the workers drilling for private firms, or they lose workers

That's why they charge at OPEC prices.

Dangote will be buying crude from NNPC at OPEC prices in naira equivalent. That's all government could promise him.
I’m not talking of dangote, I’m talking of NNPC
Politics / Re: Diesel Price Hike: Enugu Increases Waste Evacuation Contracts' Budget by Kfed4ril(m): 10:38am On May 12, 2022
subsidywise18:

Where does the money to pay the workers drilling for the crude come from?

Plus like I said private entities and NNPC in JV with others drill for crude. Naturally they have to earn money from doing it otherwise they won't be able to pay taxes, maintenance fees, buy new equipment, salaries etc.

Are you telling me that the NNPC in JV can’t drill and refill then sell to the citizens or even alone without a JV.

When I’m talking about government running the refineries, which arm of government is saddled with the responsibility if not NNPC?
Politics / Re: Diesel Price Hike: Enugu Increases Waste Evacuation Contracts' Budget by Kfed4ril(m): 10:34am On May 12, 2022
subsidywise18:

They don't just tap and refine

The people who do the refining have to be paid.

That's where the dollars paid per barrel goes to.

Then there is taxes etc plus JV partners. Plus a lot of private entities drill for crude too. They must be paid.

If they were refining crude free , it would mean that government is spending out of money that it would have used for other things.

Plus we need more than five working refineries anyways

I know we need more than one working refinery, I’m just saying if we had at least one working refinery things wouldn’t be this bad.

All this this you mentioned are considered, I never said government should give Nigerians free fuel, I said if we had working refineries it would’ve been hell cheaper that it is today. Reason been that the government doesn’t have to sell to the citizens at opec prices and the still will make money to carter for all you mentioned above.

We buy the crude.

Or how would the people refining it get paid?

We buy the crude.

What you are saying amounts to saying that NNPC is selling crude for free to government. That would be ridiculous.

Who do we buy the crude from?

Even if the refineries are working well, diesel would still be expensive due to high price of the raw material it is refined from, called crude

And the reason why we have bad refineries is because subsidizing fuels makes it difficult for the sector to make a profit to keep the refineries working well enough and encourages sharp practices that keep them in bad state.

I hope you know that if Nigeria has a working refinery, the profit the government makes is 100% because they don’t buy the crude oil from anyone, they simply tap and refine.

Oga you’re talking nonsense, do we buy the crude oil?
We have it in excess that’s why I said if our refineries was working, coupled with our natural crude, diesel would have been cheaper than it is today, heck even if we bought the raw crude and refined in-house, it would still be cheaper than it is today.
Stop trying to defend the the obvious.

Ijaw is the 4th largest tribe with landmass and size as big as the South East of Nigeria.
They unjustly balkanized Ijaw into Six Nigerian States to weaken Ijaw Unity but INC is the Afenifere and Ohanaeze Ndigbo equal of Ijaws.

Ijaw produces over 90 percent of Nigeria's crude oil but were unjustly balkanized into Ondo, Edo, Delta, Bayelsa, Rivers and Akwa-Ibom States when all Ijaw areas are together and share perfect boundaries with each other.

4th out of 350 tribes no b small thing.

Many Ijaws believe Ijaws are bigger than the 4th largest tribe.
They don't cross creeks to count Ijaw towns they only count Ijaw by proxy.

Since Democracy only Ijaw have been Deputy Governers of Rivers State.
Straight 23 years from one Ijaw to another.

Are ijaw larger then the tivs, ibibios, igalas, or even the kanuris?

Ok thanks

I own a Peugeot 307 and I tell for a fact that corrola doesn't come close to it. In terms of fuel economy, availability of spare parts, the 307 is top much. Nigerians are just wired to Corolla because of how they abuse vehicle. Every car is good. Maintenance is key to enjoying a car. I even laugh more when people compare Toyota to Peugeot 406. Have you asked yourself why they use 406 as pilot 1 for long distance journey? Enough of this Corolla madness.

Manual or Auto?
I was advised to get a manual if I must get the older Peugeot cars.

Diesel was merely 220-250 per liter, but today that same diesel is 750, how then do you expect them to break even?
