EducationRe: 2014 PTDF Overseas Masters Scholarship Result is out by Khodry(m): 6:53am On Jul 15, 2014
DMainMan: DMainMan and his classmate who both recently finished MSc course and field work in Nigeria got d scholarship o.

We dont mind leaving our current jobs to go abroad for two main reasons:

a. It is an opportunity to conquer the world in some ways and make Nigeria proud. It pains me when I c d whites downgrading africans. We will rule d school and make sure d whites respect and honour africans.

b. The scholarship is worth about 11 million naira. I cant allow anyone to steal my money by not going.

It is very much likely we will get good jobs there before we finish.

At least, DMainMan Foundation will go international now.

D only thing that might not make us go is if we get Nlng job dat we are currently pursuing. But Allah knows best.

Thank you Allah.
congrats bro may Allah keep uplifting u pple and make u pple excellent ambassadors of the country...........All the best in ur quest to further ur career!

Christianity EtcRe: Some Muslims Will Make Heaven While Some Christians Will Not. by Khodry(m): 9:14am On Dec 01, 2013
Lordsonempire: Before as a christian, I thought that heaven was made for Christians alone. But since the day I had a discussion with a Muslim friend and he explained to me that every true Muslim who practice Islam and read Quran must believe in Jesus christ. He then talk about the five pillars of islam which made it mandatory for them to believed in him. In my own opinion, Jesus Christ only said, I am the way, the truth and life, no one come to the father except through me. That mean it does not matter where you worship as far as you believed in him you are saved. Truly most Muslim believe in him and pray to him.
Mind u we don't pray to him.We pray to our creator n his creator but we believe in him as a messanger of GOD!

So since questions of that magnitude can't be addressed and answer faithfully, the next bus-stop is to delete all his comment followed by ban! This is a joke.

Built2last: I intend to write an article in the nearest future titled "The hypocrisy of Islam" here's why. If you travel up north they preach sharia by mouth but their actions are contrary. They ban alcohol and forbid anywhere it is sold but nobody drinks it like them.

On a larger scale, Nigeria is a secular state with companies like Nigerian breweries producing Star, Gulder etc. BAT, British American Tobacco. All these companies pay their tax to the federal purse and in turn the fed govt disburse the fund to all states. If Liquor or tobacco is banned up north in the name of sharia. why does your state governmnets collect money from the federal purse. are they claiming ignorance of the fact that Liquor and tobacco is one of the highest tax paying sectors of our economy and this money is shared to their states. Here they are again advicing a jobless fellow to ignore opportunities in the name of religion.

Hello pls don't bring up such, come 2 tink of it 'is it hypocrisy of islam or d pple?' islam is an entity n d muslims or d pple are another.Islam frankly go against or preach against dose vices. But in our world 2da as we hv it in oda religion as well, many only hear n read d world in quote'holy books' but few act on it or take it as a way of lyf as islam preaches............Even d evil n harm caused by those vices is enough 4 sensible fellow 2 stay away from them.Though we may stil fall victim indirecty as u rightly mention; gov generate some of it revenue thru it etc,but dose clear cases lets avoid it.

Jobs/VacanciesRe: NLNG Test 2013. by Khodry(m): 10:21am On Oct 11, 2013
SilaV: Oga ,I have a lot of respect for your objectivity. The truth about this NLNG interview is that one should study ones basics in terms of field of study very well,be able to defend the content of ones CV(for those already working),be confident by showing lots of comportment and believe in GOD.all these pieces of information going round as regards purported interview questions can only be used as an addendum, not totally reliable.NLNG has loads and enough questions to ask every candidate invited for the interview without necessarily repeating any,so my advise for those that have not done theirs is to read wide.

I had my interview the very first day it started and by the grace of God, I had a nice time and hoping to be called for medicals.I was never asked questions on any thing on stuffs I have been reading about: just about my work experience as a process personnel in a manufacturing multinational and a bit of questions from my field. The point I am making is that don't be distracted, but read wide and be comported. If it is the will of GOD we shall all see in Bonny Camp to interact.Again, people should not be requesting for the exact questions from their colleagues as nobody would want to put himself/herself at disadvantage all in the name of head up.The truth is what will be will always be irrespective of whether someone told you anything or not.

We are all lifted.
Nice one boss dat's jst it.Pls when are they going to recruit fresh graduates i mean Bsc or Beng? Or is it dat dier is no opportunity for graduate with zero oil n gas experience in NLNG dis yr? because all d openings hv been seeing is 4 experience graduates n HND holders.

@peppy luv; u'll really do very well in writing o, why nt venture into it, bet me u will definitely do very well than even d teaching n farming u said u do 4 leisure...........lol! As 4 ur co corper u talked abt can u really shift d whole blame on her? As u rightly mention or some1 on dis thread, majority of wat makes one literate is gotten 4rm pry n sec sch so dat phase of education is very important.Hw many of our so call graduates are privilege to attend a good private pry n sec sch where dey will be exposed to art of good speaking or even while growing up dier parent took english as 2nd means of communicatn, majority went 2 community sch where dey communicate with dier local lang or Nigeria english'pigin'.And mind u is wat u do often dat bcomes part of u,even our local lang were nt learnt anywhere is via comunicatn with parent while growing up.Finally was d aim of going 2 tertiary institution 4 4yr or above 2 speak correctly? Pls don't misunderstand me am nt saying one shd nt learn hw 2 speak good english because in d buz n social world is highly needed but d priority shd be on wat u went 2 tertiary instn 2 learn.Dat is why country lyk china keeps developing because emphasis is on skills nt anoda man's language........imagine our level of development,if most of dis foriegn books we're reading was written in our local language n tinx we see every day was used 4 illustrations............Nt 2 nail u o,kudos ur write up was very educat8-)8-);>
