Adverts for Cars that are not overpriced don't extend to the the 3rd page. When i can get a 2008 camry for 3M average why will i waste money on this thing for 2.7M, guy look for another market |

Stupid boy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!, after messing up the poor girl, you want to dump her now, i'm sure most of the guys you alledged she may have slept with before were just like you. Why did you not do an underground study on her before you took her to bed. IDIOT |
wats the last this will fly for |
Why is that every other time that thing wakes you, it comes 30 mins later than the previous one |
make reference to tonisslims's post, she is a lady and she asks you to be careful meaning it might not be the best situation to leave your wife |
. |
No you cannot get a soul mate in nairaland |
If she could keep her own child out of the picture because she was scared of losing the guy she really wanted, that means she put her self first before her responsibility (thats selfish). I think she can leave the guy anytime she sees something she wants more than the guy, based on this, i think the guy should step. There comes a time in life when you put your responsibility and commitment first instead of self especially in marriage, i don't think she has reached that point. |
hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm |
Good, i agree with Jay Bee's statement give him an altimatum then decide with ur head. I tell you the kind of feelings he is having towards the other lady is hard to break, even marriage will do alot of work to break it because it has not been totally severed. |
@ oolateju So in thesame position you are likely to do same |
Yorubas don't support thieves, Bode George Should get what he deserves |
All you guys talking, what exactly are you thinking about. I bet the poster has already forgotten about this post |
The guy did not rent any flat, he only borrowed his friend's flat cos his friend will not be in town for a while. how can he rent a flat for that amount and not have 10K to pay for ur trip. However, i don't expect you to wait for him to send money to u if u wanna go see him and i don't even expect you to travel that far to see him for the first time he should be doing that or are you desperate? |
Some people just see it as if we don't want to pay tax, what i am trying to say is that we should be taxed as sensible people and not fools, or rather we should not be bullied and extorted in the name of tax. Gbam. |
@Da Mayor I feel you, i'm certain you are here in Naija and not talking from across the ocean |
i observe that most of the guys talking about this issues are in diasporra, and their argument is steming form the fact that if i pay tax here then why should the guys back home not pay tax. Ask yourselves these questions; Do i pay for electricity i don't use? we pay for that in Nigeria. Do i pay for 3rd party insurance that is meaningless? We pay for that in Nigeria Do i pay PAYE tax that and enjoy no social ammenity (good raods, water supply, security etc.) for? Yes we do here If Fashola needs more money to continue to develop the state, can he tell us that truely, all what he has been able to do is the best all the revenue coming into the state at the moment can do. Going back to the first post, the whole palava was with respect to a RAV 4 SUV with reg number , , it was not with respect to the income of the owner of a RAV 4 SUV with reg number , So why are you trying to explain what is not obvious by saying they only want to know how much the owner of the vehicle is actually earning. |
thanks Kshow1 You see, i have come to understand that whenever an average Nigerian earns a little above 200K, the or she thinks he or she is made and all of a sudden every effort of the govt. to extort money from citizens with cover ups such as this car tax stuff is welcome by them. My Message to them is: Wake up and see big pictures, see things with objectivity and not emotions. By emotions i mean: (when i have money then nothing is expensive, but when i am broke everything is expensive) |
Many Nairalanders complain about the "north" sucking the south dry, well, this is a first step to real federalism, revenues being generated locally through tax collection. The Oil won’t be there forever, generating revenue at the grass-roots must start somewhere. So we should suck ourselves dry in the process, where is the money being taxed coming from? Oil my friend. Nobody is saying he or she does not want to be taxed afterall, we all supported the tax drive, but when taxation is turning into extortion alarm bells begin to ring. |
@kobojunkie Then that makes us all Fasola zombies |
@beknown Please can you now relate your explanation to what lagos is trying to do. thanks |
@ Nezan What kind of taxes are responsible people supposed to pay |
Lagos should get very serious, where are the roads? and they are talking about electric cars. shhhhioooooo |
Lekside, we cannot compare this with what obtains in london, in london, people don't have to buy 4 wheelers because of bad roads, but here u need to save up for one for the bad roads to be bearable. I believe you have been to london or maybe you are there now, are the ammenities over there comparable with what we have here? and this is grossly the fault of the kind of governance we've had so far. Then why does our govt. find it so easy to subject us to similar taxes as londoners when we don't enjoy 1/1000th of what the londoners enjoy. |
