I strongly believe that we do not need to scrap any course rather we should emphasize the courses that will further foster and catalyze true davelopment.

I have a feel of pms, since the page will have to load afresh for each parties to view their messages it is good that you create an sql query to read all the past messages and sort by date. Eg
Select * from box where sender=css or sender=php or reciever =css or reciever=php order by date asc limit 10
Then loop through this result, the most recent message will be the first on the list if your date has this format (yyyy/mm/dd h:i:s) the time there is optional but it is a good feature for pms...
Limit 10 is also optional.
I guess what you were doing before was to load only the most recent message. You can continue with that so that you can display the most recent message in a different place than the past messages. So when you are looping thru the query i presnted earlier. Remenber to skip the first result so i=1 not i=0... It depends on your creative choice

I Have a php-mysql enabled site completed and working fine on my workstations. After uploading it to the host, all pages displayed blank. Then I realised that when I do online editing from the control panel, The pages started working fine. Although I had to changed 1 or 2 things. Also when I download the source files from the webhost's control panel, it would not execute but display blank pages. I would like to know if it has to do with page encoding...
