My peugeot 308 displays "depollution system faulty" it jerks when this fault comes up. please what might be the problem?

Na so one of our lecturer come nd said everybody out, u would file in nd arrange yourselves again,as I hear that one I fly go out side throw expo inside my bag nd took out a clean school fees printout then went back in. As soon as the exams started, one external lecturer came in. Omo the guy just walked straight to me nd said stand up bring out ur school fees printout, I brought it out he looked at it closely,raised it in the sunlight turned the front nd back didn't see anything.he said give me ur booklet I did, same checking oh didn't see anything he said come out of ur sit I came out,he bent down nd checked under my desk, at this point my course mates were laughing oh cause dem know say I nor dey carry expo normally ironically a gal carrying expo all over her body was two seats away from me but she looks quiet nd innocent.as the man check e nor see anything he said I should turn around which I did e nor see anything that was Hw he asked me to sit down nd continue. Omo na that day I agree say that man dey use juju dey know who carry expo nd dat was the first nd last time I attempted it in my life.till I finish school I dey go read till day break during exams ohhh the ones I nor know I go ask questions shekina..........sorry for the errors

Thank you for your vehicle details.  Am I right in assuming your Passat is a V6 with 30 Valves.  As you rightly said your vehicle requires premium fuel.

The USA use a slightly different measurement for its fuel, namely, Pump Octane Number (PON).  Most other countries use the Research Octane Number (RON) method.

Premium unleaded fuel in the States is equivalent to RON 95, used in the rest of the world, e.g. Nigeria and Europe.  In short your car needs RON 95 to run effectively and achieve optimum performance.

The Octane Booster I use in my Jeep comes in a 500ml bottle, which treats 60 litres of fuel - Perfect for calculations/measurements for your Passat.

Bearing in mind the relatively low cost of petrol in Nigeria (70 Naira per litre), the question is, how sensitive are you to paying more for better quality fuel?
By my calculations it currently cost you approximately 4,200 Naira to fill up your tank.

In the UK we are currently paying the equivalent of 248 Naira per litre, and it is rising every day! This equates to 14,880 Naira for a 60 litre car.

Siena, I bet you've added more knowledge on this, I'm in a dilemma here so please help me out if u can. I'm soon getting a new ride, BMW 335i '010 which requires premium gas. I've learnt here that I will need premium gas to get the optimum performance, I really want all of that 300 horses and it being a turbocharged engine I bet I'm gonna need a lot of octane booster. Please how do I go about using this product? Can u suggest a particular brand? I also want to start using the booster for my 06 MB C230 which also requires premium fuel. I've been using the regular fuel sold in Nigeria without doing any research on the required fuel for the MB. Will I have any problems when I start using boosters for it? Also, my brother is on the verge of buying a 012 MB GLK350 which also requires premium fuel. Should he also use the octane booster? I read somewhere that as of 2011 most cars can make use of both regular and premium gas but the engine on that car was introduced in 2006. What's your professional advise?

Better run from that motor o. For some reason that 2006 passat is very problematic in Nigeria. Two people I know that owned it lost the car to mechanics.

fuel guzzler ke? Na lie o. I've been using the car since October last year. Bought it toks. A quarter of the tank takes me to kaduna from Abuja with the AC on and speed up to 160 to 180 and multiple kickdowns. The car only entered a mechanics workshop once, and na steering pump wey spoil sef. And I travel weekly with it. Abj to kaduna on Fridays and back on Sunday. Like this afternoon I filled my tank from Abuja and I'm here now in kaduna with quarter to a full tank. I drove at my normal speed of 180 with freezing AC.

AMG cars - which are a special series of Sporty version of classic cars made by Mercedes - have one thing in common; their model numbers are double digits as opposed to their regular models which are usually Tripple digits. This is the standard format of issuing model numbers that Mercedes Benz uses to distinguish AMG cars from regular cars.

For example, an AMG version of a G wagon Mercedes Benz would be the G86 or G63. It would sound dumb to a Mercedes Benz fan to bring a G wagon labeled AMG and the model is G550 and you say it's an AMG model??

It's either the model number or year is wrong or the Metal badge displaying the model number at the rear end of the car is wrong.

Thats why King406 can boldly tell you without even inspecting the car that Your car isn't an AMG model. AMG C65 or C55 from Mercedes sounds more like it and not C230 AMG.

The steering wheel and even the dashboard suggests to me - depending on where the car was made - that attempts were made to p!mp the car.

It has the dashboard of a regular 05/06 C class but the steering wheel of a C class coupe - I stand to be corrected on this - but yet you called it an 05!! Quite interesting.........

Once again, as for the C230 AMG; that is wrong labelling.

thank you jare. I was trying to correct the man but he insulted me. As in this is car I actually use. Mine is 2006 model with V6 engine. The amg of c230 is called c32 amg. Even from the engine pic he posted I can see that it is a 2.3 ltr supercharged engine.. Which benz calls kompressor. His car is a 2005 c230 kompressor. But the man no wan hear
