My first SUV is Toyota Highlander '05,I can't really say I enjoyed driving this vehicle. It came with a 13 pin gear and anytime I change the shaft the gear has to be reprogramed. The gear started having issue to the extent that my mechanic advised me to change the gear box to a 10 pin.

I really want Nairalanders to suggest the brand of a mid range SUV that doesn't give much issue.

If you could not take good care of a 2005 Toyota Highlander(the easiest SUV to maintain), I wonder how you will take care of other mid-range SUVs.
