Barbiturate:Forget that long story it is not needed here. You can wait for your Nnamdi Kanu to become Biafran president to give you a job then, cos this thread is for Nigerians looking for jobs in federal government of nigeria's ministries, departments and parastatals. |

I have no problem with people who decided to close their shops and all businesses to stay at home because someone ordered them to do that from London. A lot of them abided by the order not out of solidarity but out of fear of what will happen should they disobey. But I am amazed at how people defied every effort to advice them against turning their zone to another Borno state. They will soon understand that peace is priceless. |

While the gruesome murder of Barrister Ahmed Ali Gulak stands unequivocally condemned, no regional group should threaten any Nigerian with violence and expulsion. Gulak's murderers are said to be only six people, out of which some are already in Police net. So, let's just keep it that way. Any threat to any Nigerian by any regional group equally stands condemned. I commend the patience, resilience and perseverance of the majority of Nigerians from both sides of the divide, in the face of unwarranted, unprecedented provocation by a tiny minority who are bent on destroying this country. The solution to the current quagmire we find ourselves in, lies with us, and is in us - all of us. We must play our individual and collective roles to ensure that the enemies are put to shame. |

Did GEJ and OBJ appointed the most senior military officers? Obj retired 60 Generals in a single day, out of them, 48 are core northerners, gej retired 34 Generals that are Ihejirika's seniors for him to make Ihejirika chief of Army staff, again, for him to appoint Mimina as chief of Army staff, he retired 38 Generals that are his seniors for him to appoint his favourite. Thsese one are ok, but this one is not right? Useless set of people, go and check, history dont lie. |

LauraClasikVibe:I applied for the dematerialization and for unclaimed dividends for both Dangote Sugar and Dangote Flour which I all bought 13yrs ago and forgot about them. I've been paid off for Dangote Flour a month ago and was informed that the company has been delisted from the stock exchange. But for Dangote Sugar, I have not been paid my unclaimed dividends neither has the dematerialization process been concluded. Veritas Registrars keep posting me with excuses and "you'll get paid today, you'll get paid tomorrow", for two months now. I'm still waiting. |
How many threads will you open before you finally make this purchase? Don't you think People will get tired of advising you? Buy the one you fancy and stop making it look as if you are buying one Boeing Business Jet that needs consultation upon consultation. |
When Libyans took up arms against the Libyan state, they thought they were doing the right thing. They thought the solution to their problems then was getting rid of Ghaddafi, and there was nothing anyone could have told them to dissuade them from continuing with their campaign. Today, Libya is by far worse off than it was during the time of Ghaddfi. The country is now fragmented, with warlords ruling over the fragmented bodies. Also, their country is now a training ground for terrorists all thanks to that mistake they made that no amount of counselling would have stopped them. If they had known what would become of their country as a result of their action, I am sure they would have done something different. In Nigeria, we are gradually taking that route. Thanks to politics, we have refused to look at our problems from an objective point of view, instead we choose sentiment all the time. The same sentiment that drove the Libyans to self destruction. When someone says there are external forces whose interest is to destabilise the country behind what is happening in Nigeria, despite having several countries to make reference with, educated people will shout him down and call him a liar, because like the Libyans, they don't want to listen to the voice of reason until it is too late. We have Syria, we have Libya and a host of others to take example from, but we are closing our eyes. |

Xmen149:They should be in the same salary range with Peace Corp and Man O War |
DanIduh06:I don't know of universities but as for federal Polytechnic's, I posted APLs for fed Poly Kaltungo last week here. And just yesterday I asked the chair of the Governing Council of another fed Poly in the NE and he told me what was delaying most APLs is that the employment process had to be started afresh to accommodate the interests of the new Governing Councils which were constituted 2mnts ago. I don't think it has anything to do with embargo. |

binalas:Yallaboi kayi mun mummunan fahimta ne, I am a northerner. Read the reasons I gave for my suggestion and stop beating about the bush. |
By appointing another northerner as the next Chief of Army Staff, Buhari will allay all doubts that he is ethnocentric. Nigeria is a heterogeneous country and all sections of the country should be included in power structure. There are competent and patriotic army officers from all sections of the country, and by alienating other regions in favour of your own, Buhari is setting a bad precedent that could only fuel more agitations for secessions. Nigerians have never been as divided as we are under Buhari and it has to with his total disregard for federal character and inclusive leadership. |
