On this issue of Pantami, there are people who are more sympathetic to the minister than the minister himself. This group of people keep on denying Pantami's sympathy on terror groups even after the man himself admitted that he actually backed them in his early life and now repented. In this category you find mostly young northern muslims who idolize the minister and see him more than just a muslim co-northerner and islamic scholar, but also a religious symbol.
On the other hand, exists another group that hates the minister more than they hate the terrorists they claim he is supporting. It is on record that they are not hash on Boko Haram the way they are on the minister recently. Some of them are hearing the name Al-Zarqaawee for the first time. They go extra mile to cook every story in order to blackmail the minister. Here, you find mostly misinformed young southern Christians who see every muslin as a threat.
People that are neutral and want heuristic and unbiased investigation to be carried on the issue are not many. |

Fantachapman: Please which of their offices? Which state? I was at an Mtn office today to enquire and was told they have not started issuing new SIM cards. I am not talking about new SIM. I'm talking about NIN enrollment. I did mine last month in Glo office in Jos when I went for a business trip there. I was enrolled and few hours later they called me to come for the print out. You can walk in to any Telco outlet and demand to be enrolled for NIN not necessarily when you want to purchase a SIM card. All the outlets in Abuja are doing it. |

Fantachapman: Thanks for the bolded. The last paragraph in my original post explains my issue with this. Please read and tell me if she can buy and register a new sim without NIN. Wouldn’t she need a phone number to enroll the NIN? Telcos can now enroll you for NIN right there in their office. So all she needs to do is to present herself for biodata capture when buying the sim. I enrolled for NIN at a globacom outlet |

Yarok: don't you know of collateral damage So The contradiction is that Yakowa didnt travel to Beyelsa on that fateful day together with Azazi. It is a known fact that it was Azazi that invited Yakowa to join his chopper to Portharcourt airport, where they intended to board a flight back to Abuja not the other way round. It would have made sense if the chopper was Yakowa's and he invited Azazi. The question is, how did the Pantami committee knew that Yakowa will join Azazi on a return flight to have targeted Azazi's chopper and not the one that took Yakowa to Beyelsa earlier? |

lexy2014: when these allegations first started trickling out, it's possible that u were one of those who called them "fabricated lies and concocted stories". After d man himself admitted to it, ur story is "Obviously Dr. Pantami has a past that he may not be proud of". What past does he have that he isn't proud of?
Instead of concluding that d info u just read is false (am certain u felt d same way at d beginning of this saga), why don't u wait& see how it unravels? Some conspiracy theories don't dovetail with common sense! Did the Naval pilot of the Italian manufactured helicopter that killed Yakowa participate in the alleged meeting to discuss how to assassinate Yakowa? Was General Azazi, the then National Security Adviser, that gave him a lift a Muslim? So, how could a prominent Christian in Jonathan's government join a plot or be used to kill a prominent Christian and a Governor? Why would General Azazi do that? This doesn't add up. Does it mean that, if a prominent Nigerian government official dies in a helicopter or plane crash, we should conclude that he was killed because the pilot happens to be a Christian or a Muslim? These conspiracy theories about Yakowa are not different from from the logic of Muslims deniers who claim that international terrorism is American and Jewish conspiracy to kill Muslims, despite the fact that the all participants are actively Muslims. Are all the Muslim hate preachers receiving a contract from America and Israel to decimate fellow Muslims? Does it make sense to recruit Christians to kill Yakowa through a helicopter crash? This thinking, just like the alleged American and Jewish plot to kill Muslims through terrorism, doesn't dovetail with common sense. |

hedonido: Edit: But the document had been exposed already. The full document is available for download on the People's Gazette website. I've read the document and the language in there sounds like that of some desperate fellas who rushed to concoct things. Who documents a murder plan on paper and makes it public? There seems to be desperation by some people to set this country ablaze. But what these desperadoes don't know is that: we are better off peaceful. There is no winner in any crises. If you don't like what is happening in Nigeria, vie for a political position. Mobilize like-minded to vote for you. You can as well push for constitutional reform that would give you the much-coveted restructuring. You have the states' house of assemblies. You have members of the senate and house of representatives. You have state governors. Ask them to push for reform and constitutional amendment. But the idea that you want to go a separate way by setting the country ablaze is not a well-thought-out one. War is devastating and costly. Don't pray for it. |

Some quick questions on the purported meeting:
1. The JNI has its headquarters in Kaduna. Why should a joint meeting be held in Bauchi while Kaduna is easier to reach from all the states involved? And there are no names and signatures of those in attendance.
2. I think we need to establish the relationship between Pantami and JNI as of 2010. What qualified him to chair such a meeting, assuming the meeting indeed took place? More so, was Pantami holding any position at the JNI at the material time? In fact, was there a cordial relationship between Pantami and JNI, giving that they have fundamental differences in the ideals they represent? This is more like Pastor Kumuyi presiding over the affairs of Winners Chapel.
3. Was that how minutes are taken? Can this document be described as a communique? Obviously minutes is one thing. Communique is another. And how can the content of such a meeting be made public? A meeting putting down a detailed outline of a heinous act in a paper in the name of communique/report? C'mon! I think we can do better.
The language of the minutes doesn't sound like that of a Muslim northerner. Again, the kind of things discussed is not the concern of the JNI founded by Sardauna. The problem with the information age is that we can never be sure of what to believe. Look at the paragraph that talks about this meeting. What nexus does the paragraph have with the rest of the story?
Obviously Dr. Pantami has a past that he may not be proud of. As a public servant, he can be held responsible for his past deeds. But we can do that without fabricating lies and concocting false stories. |

Renderhelp: The Doctor squeezed out a dollop of gel on my bare stomach. I flinched as it felt really cold against my skin. He apologized before he went ahead to place a plastic wand on my belly and moved it around.
I was already 8 months pregnant and this was my second antenatal visit.
“Just as I thought. You are having twins. Congratulations.”
“What?!” I tried to get up from the hard hospital bed but the doctor gently pushed me back down and told me to relax.
“Doctor, are you sure? Please check well.” I couldn’t believe my ears. I pinched my arm to be sure I wasn’t dreaming.
“Yes I am sure. Twins. They both seem healthy. You have to come in next week so we can prepare you for a Caesarean section as the twin closet to your cervix is sideways . If you had been come earlier, we would have positioned the baby properly. That is why we advise you register for antenatal immediately you test positive for pregnancy. I will set up a date for you.”
The doctor said as he handed me a napkin to wipe off the sticky gel.
“Would you like to know their gender?” He asked and I nodded.
“Both female.”
***
I slotted in the new SIM card I had bought a few hours ago into my phone with shaky hands.
I dialed Musa’s number and he picked up after a few rings.
“Hello. Who’s calling?”
I took in a deep breath. “Musa it’s me Cherry. Please don’t hang up.”
I heard him hiss. “I thought I made it clear that you shouldn’t contact me.”
I lowered my eyes to the bill the doctor had handed to me for the C-section.
“I’m having twins.”
“Well, congratulations to you but I don’t see how this concerns me.” He said with a harsh tone.
“The bill is 370,000. I don’t have any money on me...and I can’t care for 3 children all by myself!”I cried.
“You chose to get pregnant. I don’t see the reason you’re whining now. Look, do me a favor and stop pestering me with your incessant calls.” He ended the call.
I tried dialing his number back but he had blocked me. I screamed as I smashed my phone against the wall. I buried my face in my palms and cried.
How would I be able to raise 370,000 in less than a week? I was certain Mama wouldn’t help me. Nkiru didn’t have such money and I didn’t want to impose such on Ifeanyi, it might make him lose interest in me. I was very close to getting him to break up with Nkiru, I couldn’t risk sabotaging my plan.
It was already difficult providing for Zayan and myself and now 2 extra mouths were on the way, how would I cope? I began to regret not taking the pills Musa had offered.
The door to my room opened and Mama walked in.
“Wetin happen? Why you dey cry?” She placed her hands on her waist and stared at me quizzically.
I sniffed as I shook my head and wiped away my tears. “Nothing.”
She retied her wrapper firmly above her breasts before she bent down to pick up the pieces of my phone and sat down next to me on the bed to carefully reassemble it.
“If you no need the phone make you dash me.” She joked but I didn’t laugh. “Wetin be this?” She took the hospital bill from my hand.
“370,000? Maka gịnị? What for?!” Mama exclaimed.
“They said I’m having twins and I have to do an operation next week. I have to deposit at least 150,000 so I can have an appointment.”
Mama rubbed my back as I cried. “Ndo, Ebezi na. Don’t cry. God will not fail us...what of the man’s brother that you said has been sending money to you and Zayan. You don tell am?”
I winced. I had lied to Mama and Nkiru that Musa’s elder brother had been sending me money so they wouldn’t suspect I was getting money from Ifeanyi.
Mama noticed the change in my countenance and hissed. “I talk am say all these your Waka Waka never end! Even with pregnancy and Zayan ehn? Cherry! If you like they mumu yourself up and down, I don wash my hand comot from your matter.”
She stood up from the bed and eyed me. I lowered my eyes to the floor and wiped away mucus from my nose with the back of my hand.
She finally spoke after a moment of heavy silence. “I nor too get money now, I just buy goods for shop but I go first pay the deposit then we go sort the rest out later. No be you I Dey do am for, na for my grandchildren.”
I knelt down to thank her.
*** I smiled as Ifeanyi came into my private ward. He held an extra large teddy bear in one hand and a bouquet of flowers in the other.
Followed closely behind him were two male hospital staffs in green scrubs bringing in baby items.
“Ifeanyi this is too much.” I moaned.
He had insisted on paying the rest of the hospital bills when Nkiru had told him about my surgery.
“Mama twins.” Ifeanyi teased and I punched his arm. “How are you?” He didn’t wait for an answer before he kissed me.
I had undergone the surgery two days ago. Mama had been by my side all through. She had gone with Zayan to attend to an urgent business issue and I quickly took the chance to call Ifeanyi so he could visit me.
Ifeanyi placed the flowers on the bedside table and the brown teddy bear next to me on the bed.
“I wanted to get you the white one with an ‘I love you’ but....” he said referring to the bear.
“I understand.” I smiled at him and he kissed me again.
“I missed you.” I said to him.
“Where are they?”
“Who?” I pretended as if I didn’t know he was referring to the twins.
“The twins.”
“Didn’t you disturb them enough while they were in my stomach? Leave them alone joor.” I joked and he laughed.
I pointed to the two glass cradles on steel legs at the corner of the room where my twin girls were sleeping. Ifeanyi walked over to peer at them.
“Cute. They look just like you.” He commented.
It was a lie. They looked nothing like me, just like Zayan they had inherited their father’s looks.
“Where is big brother Zayan?”
“He left with Mama. He is jealous of his sisters. He thinks he’s still a baby.” I said and we both laughed.
“I’m happy you are fine but why didn’t you tell me about the hospital bills? If Nkiru hadn’t told me, I wouldn’t have known.” He had a slight frown on his face like I had offended him.
“I didn’t want to bother you.”
“I have been taking care of you and Zayan and I have never complained? You should have asked me.”
“I never knew you loved me that much.” I spoke sardonically.
“I do and you know it.”
I turned to look into his eyes. “Then why are you still with Nkiru?”
He took his eyes off mine. “ I told you to give me time. I can’t just end—“
“If you are not ready to breakup with her then please leave me alone. It’s already bad enough that I have to sneak into different hotels with Zayan just to see you. I won’t do that with the twins!” I adamantly folded my arms below my breasts.
“I feel stupid for loving you! Zayan has begun to think you are his father.” I sobbed loudly
Ifeanyi let out a huge breath before he walked over to my bedside and placed his arm over my shoulders. “Okay, I will breakup with her. Let her finish with her exams first.”
I shook my head vigorously. “No! I’m leaving the hospital in 3 days and if you’ve not broken up with her by then, forget about me.”
He sighed. “Alright, but we have to take things slowly. We would be hurting a lot of people.”
“Promise me you would never leave me.” I pleaded with tears in my eyes and took his hand into mine.
“I promise.”
He sat on the hospital bed next to me and wiped my tears. I sat up straight on the bed. I ignored the pain from the healing suture in my abdomen as I leaned so that my face could meet his.
I closed my eyes as we deeply kissed. His chest pressed into mine and I felt milk trickle out of my nipples and wet his shirt but he didn’t care. I finally felt happy and hopeful.
“Ihe-árú! Abomination!”
Our kiss abruptly ended. I turned to see Mama standing at the door.

FxHouse: It is important to note that everything being fixed now (and more), was already addressed by radautoworks, except that the op failed to provide parts to address these issues, and even the ones he provided weren't durable and they were gotten from the person fuelling these whole drama.
In order to show that these whole charade is geared towards bringing down a HARDWORKING and REPUTABLE individual for reasons best known to everyone involved, I'd want for nairalanders to follow without bias
.
1. In over 3 years (and counting) there has never been any thread about doing anything bad to anyone, finally there is one (which was the intention from the very beginning) and all of a sudden, "raduautoworks do not know what they are doing?"
Meanwhile, the op's superarrow (of destruction), that radautoworks is being compared with, has had several complaints over the years that got swept under the rug. Even if radautoworks messed up, why all the hate from different angles and sides, some even go as far as spewing their hatred by commenting with more than one moniker, creating new ones.
2. The op only chose to focus on the negative and hammer on it like every other thing was not done right, but there were other jobs that were done perfectly, part of which includes;
(i) Engine tune-up: a combination of services (ii) Remove and replace steering rack, pinion assembly and tie rod (iii) Remove and replace control arms (both) (iv) Remove and replace rear axle (v) Remove and replace front CV axle (vi) Remove and replace oil sump (vii) Materials required
3. The op got another free repair that amounted to N119,432 due to him providing some wrong parts gotten from yours truly.
Finally, I'd also like for you to please list out the cost of repairs (even though you're doing it for free).
@radautoworks, please keep up the good work you've been known for over the years, we understand their pain. Their envy and hate should not be a cog in your wheel of success, keep spinning, you'd crush them like you always do. Keep winning ma'am, a lot of us recognize your hard-work and trust me, we dey your back. kampe, we stand for you gidigba.

Idris Deby killed from injuries he sustained while fighting rebels or he was killed by his own troops? No the story doesn't add up.
Not long ago, there were rumours about some people wanting to remove him from office to prevent him from standing for re-election, but France was said to have waded in to save him, by suppressing the dissents, and also bringing French troops to protect him.
He was declared winner just two days ago with 79%.
No I don't believe he was killed by rebels. It might be an inside job.
He was a brave man no doubt, but I don't like him for he is a major force in the conspiracy against Nigeria and sabotaging the anti insurgency campaign. |

Caution: The anger is against Pantami not against Islam. The activists mounting pressures on him to resign are Nigerians and have every right to cleanse our democracy of toxic and dangerous individuals. The Nigerian democracy is secular and has nothing to do with Islam. So using Pantami to accuse the activists of waging a stealth war against Islam is unfounded and it even lacks merits. Pantami knew how dirty and murky politics was before his foray into it, and he even advised clerics not to get entangled with politics because the system is toxic and a person could easily vitiate his reputation. Buhari was a beneficiary of such activists who fought Goodluck Jonathan and supported Buhari. They were not derided the enemies of Christianity.
It's up to Pantami to hold on or resign but the momentum building against him is damaging his reputation more than anything. |
